I feel that way about western cartoons for sure (and western animation fans are total stunted freaks without exception) but I love anime. Its fans can be freaks too but I accept them more somehow, not nearly as bad as western animation fans

No, no. Anime itself is anti kino. There are some good stories but the piss poor animation is so shit it negates it. If I have to watch a cartoon it had better have SOVL like early Disney not some 30 second still frame of a weird looking butthole who’s only animation is his mouth and a weird sweat tear on his forehead or a slightly red blush on its cheeks.
