Are there movies with a similar vibe to Conan the Barbarian?

Are there movies with a similar vibe to Conan the Barbarian? Basically sword and sorcery but without the Gay (The Hobbit for example) and all about Grit and Atmosphere.

I am looking through the wiki pages for them and they seem to be pretty based and kult. I am looking for the black metal equivalent of medieval/fantasy pretty much. Hope these are as good as they seem

        >without the Gay
        >movie follows a half naked man

only homosexuals (such as you) care for those details

Excalibur Is arguably the best one in the genre.
There's also one I watched once whose name I can't remember, at the end they fight some snake dude (not Conan), the protagonist was the stranded prince of a king who was killed. The sword and the sorcerer, I think. Nothing exceptional but can scratch the itch.

      >Excalibur

Robin of Sherwood (British tv series)

      >Robin of Sherwood (British tv series)

      Conan the Destroyer
      Red Sonja
      Ladyhawke

Also you might enjoy Hercules The Legendary Journeys (has I think 5 movies or so before the tv series) and Xena: Warrior Princess.

      >Ladyhawke
      not sword and sorcrery.

nothing approaches conan the barbarian, it's a c-movie subgenre. deathstalker 1 is actually amongst the best of the runners-up.

Ladyhawk the story about a cursed knight and cursed princess? The one where he's a werewolf and she's a werehawk? How exactly isn't this "sword and sorcery"?

You could always watch stupid Conan the barbarian.

Honestly though the atmosphere and effects for this movie are on point.

Excalibur. It doesn't follow arthurian myth perfectly (similar to how barbarian doesn't follow the old stories perfectly) but it is definetly an excellent movie
