No, but because the popular opinion was that season 1 was better there are people here who are pathologically driven to pretend they like season 2 instead. Their entire self image depends on constant contrarianism, because you can't be smarter than the masses if you're only agreeing with them. You need to be correcting them somehow. That simple idea drives nearly every post here, to the point that authentic discussion is virtually impossible.

Seriously, wtf, I watched this pile of excrement based on recommendations posted here.

as a continuation of s1, s3 is better than s2.

Season 3 was much better until the ending, which destroyed it.

As long as it's better than s02 and isn't completely pozzed I might enjoy it.

it's no where near s1 but as a slow burn detective drama it is much better than whatever s2 was trying to be.

s2 isn't a detective show. it's 8 episodes of a small time club owner going bankrupt due to his minor investment in a typically corrupt state infrastructure project not panning out.

Me. It's really good and has a quicker pace that lends itself very well to rewatches.

The dynamic between Frank and Ray is 10/10 kino.

I like both seasons equally and feel that even Pizzaman with rushed scripts BTFO's 99 percent of TV being made.

That individual scene was fine, but the resolution of the pink room just felt really tired to me. I think people in Hollywood get way too enamored with twists and surprises, to the point that they hardly ever stop to consider if the twist is actually good.

yea s3 last few episodes were SHIT. listening to two old hags yap for hours made me sleep.

        >1 > first half of s3 > s2 > last half s3

s2 i only like because it has 3 of my favorite actors/actresses in it.

Frank's slow motion financial demise was the real shit for people with skin in the game, existentialism writ large. Sure, Season One and its green eared pedofiles appealed to children who were fricked by their uncle or who were disappointed they weren't, who knows, I'm not a goddamn sphygmomanometer.

His masculine father was hateful and aggressive, and so he began associating masculine presence with negatives and unenjoyable times, eventually resulting in becoming a beta boy. You'd probably find a thousand similar stories here.

How was he hateful? I'd wager the kid would be better with Ray than a fricking fat dysgenic beta loser with his mom and cuck boyfriend. The show tries to make him out to be so bad but he only once spoke harshly to Chad.

Season 2 is a pulpy meditation on the end of western civilization. Episode 1 is titled “The Western Book of the Dead”. Frank even tells us “Everything is ending, time to wake up”. Reoccurring themes of no longer fitting into an increasingly fake world.

Shhhh don't say that. Don't even point out how it deconstructs woke archetype characters, how it points out Hollywood's degeneracy, how it has themes of masculinity, accepting your fate, being a man and making the hard sacrifices.

Le spooky Chtulu references are true heckin kino!!!!
