I will interpret characters as I see fit. I choose whether or not they are evil

Doesn't matter. Hollywood always finds a way to tear these characters down.
Forcing the director to say that those characters are closeted homos with micropeens and liking them is saying that you are a small dick homosexual.
If they don't they will just by the rights and remake the movie or make a late sequel nobody asked for and probably even gender swap them.

Based. Idolize this anon and take this advice
      >I'm Trans BTW
Never mind don't listen to this Troon they are all weak and fricked in the head.

    >joker

    >alex
so schizo and off putting idk why anyone would want to be him. but he does manage to charm and frick TWO b***hes at the same time

    >tyler durden
he's not real and lives in a haunted house

    >donald draper
only watched like 8 episodes ten years ago. idk remember what happened but he had a hot wife, good job, kids, and a nice house. I wouldn't mind being him tbh

Except that in fight club there is no moral dilemma. The author doesn't criticize anything the MC and his schizo friend/self does, highlighted by the ending.

What are the females equivalents for this? Off the top of my head:
    >Amy from Gone Girl
    >Rue from Euphoria
    >Maybe Thomasin from The Witch?

Pearl from Pearl. You should see how women love her so much for embodying "female rage" or whatever the frick

Shes a psychopathic prostitute who cheats on her husband with Chad then murders people.

Harley Quinn as well. Funny that I forgot that one, since Joker is in OP's image.

Libs need to stop with the whole "toxic male butthole fights to get what he wants" schtick. People only see the ambition/drive and forgive everything else. Just have men with ambition and drive who aren't buttholes, I know it might seem like they don't exist from watching TV but they really do.

This. Liberal writers are terrible at understanding men and as a result end up creating some of the weakest strawmen characters possible, who are 19x more appealing than intended.

Most of these stories show a point where the character gets the riches and fame they desire and has it good for a while. Then they start to make bad decisions and it all comes undone. The thing is people watch that and think "I'll just not do the dumb shit"

I wonder about missed the point. Maybe it's more there's facets that are relatable and it's interesting to see how that plays out.

A lot of things are like this. Seinfeld they are suppose to be terrible people but watching it so much I don't think George is that bad for example.

Or the cops on SVU. I honestly can't stand most of them and would never want them around me. I don't think that was the intention of the writers.

The average screeching dumbass on CNN that thinks something like Joker is going to inspire shootings misunderstands these movies more than someone quoting Patrick Bateman for fun.

no-one ever really 'idolised' them. they were just interesting characters to briefly view society through an alternative lens
afaik no irl mass murderer/serial killer ever quoted or referenced any of them either directly or even loosely as motives for their crimes
    >was usually some other crazy fricker or some historical figure
