It's going to bomb.
At best, it'll become an obscure film that only gets an audience because Saberspark reviews it.
At worse, it'll be potential lost media.
>Lasseter directed Toy Story, Bug's Life and Cars >Bug's Life isn't included among his works
he knows deep down that it wasn't that great or heartfelt of a film
A Bug’s Life has a compelling story of people trapped under an oppressive group that claims to be protecting them. Cars is just a rehash of every sports movie but with talking living cars. >A Bug’s Life is just Seven Samurais
But is Seven Samurais bad? People who bring that up I feel are shitting on a good story.
the problem is that script fails to make us truly care about the ant colony. Bug's Life dives straight into the conflict before we get to assimilate the characters and their lives
We had plenty of time to establish several things in the movie before Flik goes to the city to get the circus bugs. >Princess Atta is training to be the new queen >The colony has to focus on getting food for the grasshoppers before they even get food for themselves >Flik likes to make inventions >People think Flik is a nuisance and that he only causes trouble >Princess Dot is the only one who actually likes and cares about Flik >Hopper is the leader of the grasshoppers and the main antagonist >The grasshoppers are not really protecting the ants but abusing and intimidating them
All of this before the 2nd Act
Cars is a compelling story with a big heart. Bug's Life isn't (it was early Pixar at its most hollow)
Bug's Life never had a sequel and on the box office did worse than either of those.
Cars had an incredibly hollow story but was great for toys. I would say its "heart" was undermined by the have your cake and eat it ending, and the fact that the protagonist was a douche. NASCAR is never compelling, it exists as a reason to get drunk.
From my perspective, the Pixar are evi-, er I mean you shouldn't fight each other over what film was better but instead be happy that you both enjoy Pixar's stuff.
>girl is cursed to be super unlucky but she doesn't notice due to get plucky nature >this leads to an investigation info the luck bureau where the bad guy is disrupting the balance to hoard luck for himself
Is Lindsay Lohan the titular character?
the WHAT behind toy story and cars?
The creative visionary.
You know.
The person who... uh... was probably an intern serving coffee or something.
LA CREATIVIDAD
Will there be lewds?
mmmm No
Is there a dragon-version available? One left from the advertising company who stick posters on vehicles? To collect another dragon gf?
The frick is her accent? It seems...like...dunno, disconnected like it switches from Irish to standard American
Very bad fake Irish. It's got me filtered for sure, they should have gotten an actual Irish actress.

I thought it was a common opinon it was the weakest of Pixar's early films.
it is. Bug's Life lacks something that every other early Pixar film have : an emotional center
A Bug’s Life is fricking awesome. It’s a disgrace that Cars of all things was used as an example of his great filmwork.

>creative visionary behind Toy Story
Yeah!
>and Cars
...oh.
looking forward to the second film more. Vicky Jenson is the director and she hasn't worked in animation since Shark Tale in 2004
>she hasn't worked in animation since Shark Tale
Christ, no wonder this movie looks ugly. She should have stayed in retirement.
I'm only excited for rape
I'm watching for the dragon.

>disney/pixar artstyle

At least looks closer to Big Hero 6 than Luca and Turning Red Numbers.
