nah these movies aren't very good only for the reason that it was limited by the source material. there's a good story in there somewhere, but as it stands the characters are shallow and hollow and melodramatic and it was designed to appeal to young females.
you need to have a reason to like these movies, and anything beyond just simply liking to look at KStew and Anna is questionable

Theyre trash bro. I saw two of them in the theater with two different chicks. the only good thing to come from them is this beautiful Metric track.
the vampire world was an interesting concept but poorly executed and the romance between Bella and Edward didn't make a lot of sense since they have no chemistry and barely knew eachother but it someone evolved into an obsessive romance
But the movies are kind of fun bad to watch, I was never bored just thought a lot of the writing and character development was cringe
The original twilight has a great mood. I don't even know how to describe it, slightly melancholy but comfy. It's all the shots of rainy forests and the blueish filter along with the soundtrack. Maybe it's partly nostalgia.
Anyway the rest of the movies are just shit.
My ex made me watch all of them and I don't remember anything that happened in them, except for the final one being so baffling and ridiculously bad that I had a great time laughing my ass off while watching it

I don't hate the first one but the main couple are just so awful. They have no chemistry and they're barely characterized at all. When your fricking protagonists are dull and bland your series can't be anything but bad.
The movies are bad, but super comfy. Any more movies with this kind of atmosphere of american northwest? I love this shit. Endless pine woods, cold ocean, rain, fog, people driving old cars, and drinking whisky in hunting clubs.

I have marathoned these movies with several different girls and something about them makes women stupid horny. They have gotten me laid on at least 3-5 different occasions so I'll always respect whatever hellish power they have over women. Give it a try lads, by the third film I guarantee you'll be knuckle deep.
