I drive
Salieri's talent with Mozart's autism
I’m more of a Cory
Shut the frick up, how 'bout that huh?
Saileri is a moron
Mozart was literally autistic.
So was Henry Ford, Leonardo Davinci, Thomas Edison, George Orwell, Graham Bell and a bunch of others.
Don't underestimate morons.
>Thomas Edison
I don't think stealing other people's achievements and pretending that they're your own, patenting them and getting rich on the backs of your underpaid employees requires much autism, actually.
Edison was the Elon Musk of his time, and Musk isn't autistic.
Salieri was a greatly accomplished composer. We're the guys who bring them champagne.
Not me. I'm the guy in the audience who coughs during the dramatic parts.
im not even talented enough to be a salieri
No one here is a Salieri or a Mozart. Even Salieri had a brush with greatness in knowing Mozart.
Everybody is a Salieri in his own story.
Even Mozart considered himself a Salieri.
Only from an outside perspective is anyone ever a Mozart.
That's some good insight
actually Mozart's own father called him a genius in letters, while trying to explain to him why his talented music students couldn't just come up with counter-melodies.
when he went to Paris aged 25 he would just make up a new symphony the night before a concert instead of playing stuff "the hits" to make the trip as successful as possible.
Mozart doesn't seem to have really understood spending within his means or the business side of music at all, but he definitely didn't think of himself as remotely average.
>but he definitely didn't think of himself as remotely average.
It's not about seeing yourself as average, it's about being generally dissatisfied with whatever situation you are in and wishing you could be in somebody else's shoes.
Mozart know he was an exceptional talent, but you could argue that he would rather not have been. See also: Michael Jackson.
>Mozart know he was an exceptional talent, but you could argue that he would rather not have been.
nah. he was depressed because his kids kept dying, him and his wife had health problems which 18th century medicine if anything possibly made worse, and he felt trapped by a spiral of debt. real shit, not abstracted modern "am I good enough" stuff.
Exactly. He probably thought being Salieri would have been a better life.
No. I'm a virgin and that's a pretty objective measure of being a loser.
They were friends in real life. The movie isn't real
>They were friends in real life. The movie isn't real
The whole point of Amadeus is that Salieri is old and demented and imagines things that never actually happened as he tells the whole story in an unreliable flashback. Did you even watch it?
I thought they were friends in the movie too and the tragedy was that Salieri didn't realize it until Mozart died
This. Pushkin started that rumor that they were enemies.
None, I am a guy that loved stories and kino more than anything but was born in the wrong circumstances to ever pursue my dreams.
t. poor slav third worlder
Too bad the movie sucked.
Play Salieri
Well, playing Salieri gets you an Oscar.
Playing Mozart does not.
I'm definitely Salieri
>are you part of the 1% or part of the 000.01%?
Everyone here is those morons at the end banging their head against the wall and screaming in that crazy asylum lol
Im the king.
