There is an online database with headlines/crimes commited by all 1% MC in the world and the 70s to 90s were brutal man, I mean even defunct clubs like Fates Assembly would put modern mid-life veneer riders to shame. Hands down one of the best shows ever, judged on the merits. On its own, it's definitely a landmark for MC content, even if some elements are over the top due to their function as both entertainment (rule of cool) and metacommentary
My hope is that the upcoming film/tv series can live up to it. It's big shoes to fill, no doubt. On the other hand, content has gotten so bad that new SoA should easily be able to shine by comparison. So it has an easy shot of being one of the best things to come out in its release year. It's just a question of whether it can meet the bar that it set, or even take it to a new level.

Mayans was definitely up against it from the start, most people were tired of MC content following the conclusion of SOA. Overall, its a welcome edition to the most exciting sub genre out there.

It was a hard watch until the most recent two where it leaned more heavily into the SOA format as well. I really don't know why they thought the Sons fanbase would be dying to watch a show about the struggles of mexican border people.
