I wanted to see him as the main antaonist of an actual Spider-Man movie ever since i read Las Hunt years ago, instead i got Morbius 2.0
I think Kraven, even more than Morbius, does not work without Spider-Man. The whole motivation behind the character is that he sees Spider-Man as the one worthy prey for him to hunt down, and over time this develops into an obsession for him, until he eventually just completely snaps in Last Hunt. If there is no Spider-Man to drive his obsession, Kraven is just... a guy with a spear.

Miles and Gwen have become to popular to leave out, and I'm not removing Mary Jane, Venom, nor Agent-Anti Venom. So unless you remove the main characters in Ultimate Spider-Man (the animated series) besides Spidey himself, she doesn't make it on the top 10 most important Spider-Man heroes either. And she's less hot than Mary Jane so she doesn't even make a good love interest. Black Cat fails in every regard. Most pointless Marvel character ever.
