theres nothing to be hyped about and i dont care about them adding spider-boy after they just got rid of ben reilly and turned him into chasm. i'd prefer they got his story and build up out of the way before adding another character to be written out of peters life in the next few months
>somehow he’s known all the other main Spidermen for years and went on a bunch of adventures with them >we just never heard of him because he’s somehow been taken out of the connected verse >but don’t worry, he’s back and ready for more adventures with your favorite spidermen!
he’s just too forced
Meh. I like the idea of someone who apparently existed but there is no proof that they did. We see that in the latest comic and the story has many ways to go.
Didn't DC do this bit of "character that was there all along, it just happened that nobody mentioned him" with Triumph in the 90s? And I wanna say Marvel did it with a girl superhero not long ago, it was part of an event or something?
You're thinking of Moon Maiden, who starred in... I think it was one of those 80 page giant one-shots DC used to do.
She was a "founding member" of the Justice League but got erased from history.
There was also some dude in the Morison JLA run who had the sake deal. He accidentally gains one of those magic imps and wishes for his powers back (and a cool new haircut). He ends up frozen to death as a monument in the JLA watchtower trophy room.
Also technically DC very recently did the gimmick characters that have been erased from the timeline with the New Golden Age.
They introduced a bunch of characters like the Golden Age Red Lantern and many sidekicks that everyone apparently just forgot about.
Maybe I'm too generous, I feel like that's the point. He's obviously not what he seems, I wouldn't be surprised if he's some gay shit like the Spider-totem itself wanting to play human after millenia just weaving webs and finally saw his chance. There's no way he's meant to stick, atleast not as the character they're presenting him as.
>I wouldn't be surprised if he's some gay shit like the Spider-totem itself wanting to play human after millenia just weaving webs and finally saw his chance >2000 year old spider shota
The mixed response are just the small pool of Twitter gays b***hing about their favorite characters not getting an ongoing. The likes on the announcement and some comments excited for it is what makes the response mixed.
Twitter is the most useless metric to determine popularity imaginable. That entire site is botted to hell and back, blue checkmarks especially are like 90 percent bots.

But we do know he's been here before and that he potentially cribbed the commentary from anons
I'm 100% certain he was created to one-up DCEU in case The Flash movie was successful so they could add him to Spiderverse or MCU before DC introduces Wally or Jay Gerrick as "being trapped in the Speedforce out of canon" before being "brought back" like in the comics.
By begging you mean a random joke tweet you gays blow out of proportion? Real begging on Twitter is the Hello Neighbor developers at Matpat/Game Theory. Now THAT was something to mock.
He's like a living shitpost and indirectly pokes fun at all the moronic Spiderverse shit. Some random butthole just gets poofed into existence after being erased at some point? Sure, why not. Why the frick not at this point?
Spider-boy feels forced because he is. His name, his gimmick, his design, all feels like a parody of what Miles would be if he came out around the 2000's as another forgotten sidekick to a heavy hitter. For fricksake his costume is just a an inverted version of Peters but with sneakers
If Slott came out and said Spider-boy was his way of poking fun at the vast existence of Spider-people while also trying to get his Royalty check I'd applaude him
Miles isn't even native to Peter's world. So what the frick is Bailey talking about? Also it's only been a few years since Peter got out of college and started his young adult life. So I don't understand where he ultimately fits even in the sliding timeline.
Would be cooler if he went villain becasue no one remembers him but he's just spiderman but not spiderman and there's already at least 12 of those in universe.
Imagine if he’s actually the 616 version of April/Mayday who Norman had kidnapped during Clone Saga who’s been brainwashed into believing he was always Peter’s sidekick
Meh. I like the idea of someone who apparently existed but there is no proof that they did. We see that in the latest comic and the story has many ways to go.
JJ, big scoop! I found spider-boy's real identity!
>based Sentry re-con intro
only milesgays complain, just because not even KILLING Peter (if thats not forced i don't know what is) and givin him extra "slavery reparations" super-powers make people accept the Nu-spider-man
also it's sidekick people will accept easier a sidekick out of nowhere than a faker killing the original to force imself
Maybe I'm too generous, I feel like that's the point. He's obviously not what he seems, I wouldn't be surprised if he's some gay shit like the Spider-totem itself wanting to play human after millenia just weaving webs and finally saw his chance. There's no way he's meant to stick, atleast not as the character they're presenting him as.
only if shit takes a really dark turn and he becomes spideys kid miracle man
I think he's basically going to be Dawn from Buddy but with either the Spider-Totem or some Slott original expy. Hell get strung song as a legitimate new character for 1-3 years before they finally delve into "Bailey's Backstory that you've all been waiting for...!" and gradually reveal it as some dumb crossover with all the Spider books that "changes what you know about Spider-Man Forever!" before basically resetting to the status quo.
Will his entire rouge gallery be made up of older girls and women?
My guess is that Spiderboy if he doesn't gain any traction turns into a canceled run or mini series after like 5 or 6 issues.
Why the frick are they catering to Slott and his desperate need for royalty money? Also, "Mixed"? Everyone is laughing their asses off on how stupid this all is
They are using Twitter. Some people have expressed their interests and the like button on promos indicate that Spider-Boy does have an audience. However, I suspect you are among those Twitter comic gays who prefer their echo chambers.
>Why the frick are they catering to Slott and his desperate need for royalty money?
I'm living for the moment he's kicked to the curb and unable to find a writing gig for any other publisher
Is this the proof that people don't reject legacy character because of race, but instead becuase they feel like a desesperate attempt to gain relevancy again?
Hate towards slott and what editorial said about Ben Reilly is the reason a lot of people are turned off about it. >It's kinda insane that slott has to defend the existence of the character before he is even out.
Can't criticize Miles or you're racist.

No one shits on Ben better than Marvel editorial does.
What else are you left with?
This was Lowe's justification for turning Ben into a villain for the third time in just over five years despite fans having hated it the first two times. Ben can't be a hero while Peter and Miles are around, but Bailey is allowed to exist and they're bringing Superior back when the previous run only lasted a year.
When will DeMatteis save Ben from this shitstorm of Chasm?! He already has a fix locked and load, just make Clone Conspiracy Ben into Spidercide.

That's the title, it's a 5 issue mini happening at the time Ben Reilly took over in the 90s. It's been storytimed a few times, I can do it tomorrow if you want.
I read this and all I can think of is when Stan Lee wrote "The Last Fantastic Four Story" and editorial had to remind him that events could happen outside of New York. They could literally move Ben ANYWHERE and he would be fine. Why isn't Ben the Spider-Man on the Avengers? Why isn't Ben the LA Spider-Man? Why isn't Ben the Spider-Man who works for SHEILD? Why isn't Ben the Spider-Man who continues on the spy business like his biological parents? They can do hundreds of variants of Spider-Man himself, but Ben doesn't "have a place in the Spider-Landscape?" Frick, man; Ben could be the Spider-Man who settles down, has a kid, but dons the suit when duty calls so all the big babies scared of losing "muh down-on-his-luck 20-something Peter" can still ruin the main books.
>Why isn't Ben the LA Spider-Man?
Or San Francisco for that matter (if he could avoid landing in all the shit covering the sidewalks). Or Seattle. Or Boston. Or Denver. >Why isn't Ben the Spider-Man who continues on the spy business like his biological parents?
Spider-Man meets James Bond.
I'd personally have loved to see Ben and Kaine get a Scarlet Spiders book, starting over together in another city with two very different jobs in their secret identities.

Because his gimmick is that he was retconned into always having existed, which is silly.
Plus people already harp on about Miles not being a character that stands on his own merits. So introducing a new young spider-protégé feels like spreading things thin.
>Because his gimmick is that he was retconned into always having existed, which is silly.
It's technically the opposite: his gimmick is he got retconned into never existing. So the meta "joke" is all the Spider-Man comics we have are actually the retconned versions. Unlike Sentry, where the joke is we're seeing a character inserted in and everyone around him acting as though he was a long time ally, in this one we're seeing a character inserted in but no one around him remembers anything about him.
He's like Sentry without people remembering the retcons to the past, so that he has knowledge about characters a "fresh" character wouldn't while still being a new face to everyone.
Can't criticize Miles or you're racist.
Can't criticize any of the women or you're sexist.

What else are you left with?
>feels like there are like twelve superfluous Spider-People in comics right now
Get used Marvelgays, this is your bat-family now. Just wait for the next crossover event where 45% of the characters in the universe will be Spider-Man centric
I always hated every new Spider-Shitter who isn't Peter Parker. It's you guys who keep gaslighting me how other Spider-People would never infer with his stories.
What gotcha are you trying to get here? Is Venom to you the same thing as Spider-Man (Miles Morales) or Spider-Man (Miguel Ohara) or Spider-Man (Peter Parker) or Spider-Man (Peter Parker Noir) or Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) or Spider-Woman (Gwen Stacy)
He sure is a Spider-Man villain, later anti-hero. Not my favourite for sure. I like the symbiote arc in most of the cartoons but Venom himself always feels like a less interesting aftermath to it because Peter just deals with the fallout of his decision to wear alien goo as a suit. The highlight is always the point before and when he gets rid of it in my eyes. I don't hate him though since he still has thematic ties to that arc and if Eddie is written well you can get me behind him for the arc. A sort of dark mirror to Peter if he let his worst impulses get the hold of him. Lethal Protector is fine? Some funny dark humor here and there but it says much that his most iconic rival is another Venom but more evil and everyone else is also just Venom with a gimmick like being a woman or Venom but white and le anti!

But no Venom means no Carnage
Anonymous
Maybe Venom as a villain could have benefited from having a supporting cast of his own that he used in a different manner. Like he basicallly exploits and gaslights them as well as Peter's supporting cast into hating Peter while liking him? A play on Venom using toxic relationships (heh). Also maybe Carnage could be used more as a character who tells Eddie to ignore relationships and give into desire and rip away the bond he has with the symbiote as all they do is use each other and nothing more. At least that's how he sees it. Cletus and his symbiote just want to kill and just so happen align so it's just business for them. I dunno. Venom has a load of potential and that Spec episode was the most kino use of the symbiote saga and the origin in quite a long time. I still get excited when Peter and Ben say "I'm stronger than you think" along with all the other great frames and quotes that episode had.
What the frick do you homosexuals expect when the moment someone talks about something like Ultimate Spider-Man being the best bet for comics, you start flipping the hell out? It's incredibly difficult and probably near impossible to use the same character in the same universe and timeline. You run out of interesting stories so you get new characters. Don't complain when rarely, people on this board like the idea of a separate universe
>white ginger shota
Cinemaphile WILL be reading, he also looks like the less obnoxious spider-OCs they've been spitting out. What's special about this one?
No webbing and vestigial memory reading through spider-sense, it seems? It's not clear. He also implied Peter expanding his spider-sense until he could fell everyone in danger was Peter trying to be like him, whatever that means.
Why does everyone care so much about Spider Shota? Are Spideydrones just absolutely starved for content that they need to fill the catalog with dozens of threads about this kid?
Lol no. I'll be surprised if he last more than 2 years. He's not offensive or anything, I just currently don't see me ever being interested in him given how totally out of left field he is. So far he hadn't added anything to the comics but who knows.
It's refreshing how no one likes him, Peter flat out ignored this 9 year old kid and went 'frick this shit, you take care of it Silk'. And then she didn't.
>Better than Miles at least >Because...He....white
Miles was a boring non-character before Spider-verse. Bendis wasted every interesting idea he had by turning him into a less interesting version of Peter in the Ultimate universe and Marvel only made it worse by bringing him to the 616 universe. I still remember when I dropped the Ultimate book after Bendis killed Miles' mom after that shitty fricking Venom arc where Venom was some literally who-tier black doctor. It was so infuriating seeing every possible thread that could be used to make him unique done away with and replaced by Peter's old cast of side characters.
unsure young hero out to prove himself. Very bog standard shit, not anything spectacular and its definitely retread in the second movie. It's Miles' parents and his uncle doing like 50% of the work in the movies to make Miles a more interesting character with the other Spider-people doing another 40% and Miles pulling that last 10%.
>another dumbass who thinks there's anything meaningfully different between comic and movie Miles
It ain't about Miles, it's about the characters he's around and the world he interacts with. When Miles became Spider-man in the comic books, he basically adopted all of Peter's relationships, but without the charisma and at the expense of everything Bendis had set up that could make him unique.
>Slott making his way back into Spider-Editorial despite previously claiming that he was totally satisfied with having spent a whole decade ruining Spider-Man
I'll give the Spider-Boy ongoing a shot, although I don't get why Bailey's team-up in the first issue is with Squirrel Girl if he's supposed to be Peter's sidekick.
Why the FRICK would anyone want this literal who when we already have characters fighting for relevancy? It’s as if his entire existence is to prevent people from calling Miles Spider-Boy.
>less powers, not more
[...] >How stupid is it that they gave Miles electricity powers (because lol black) and called it venom... in a universe where fricking Venom already exists.
Your pleas were answered
Asuka's into some freaky shit
Milesisters.. . . . First Racist Spiderman 2099 then BalieyChad taken Peni and Now has Racist 99 abilities.. .
To be honest, Spider-Man's powers are more like a fly's than a spider. It's always kind of bummed me out that the different spider-men didn't have more spider-based powers.
Ideally, I would like to see Bailey be incorporated into a Parker family of sorts with MJ rejecting Paul for Peter, a marriage happening, and Bailey becoming an official adopted son.
Spider-Boy is another chance at having a more school-aged Spider character that will make Marvel editorial more willing to finally allow them to "age" Peter and make him a family man. It's also a chance for Marvel to set up another fully-fledged superhero family outside of the X-Men, especially if a mainline universe MayDay eventually comes to be.
I bet they're gonna copy from Grant Morrison and make it a meta book about how he was never actually in the books and instead was created in the comic book limbo.
That would be like The Unbelievable Gwenpool but with a shota as a protag, if they are going to that direction it would be total kino. Sadly I don't think that's the case here.
It's slott writing the book. He doesn't know how to do meta. It's going to be some sentry bullshit where everyone forgot he existed and he was there the whole time.
Man Miles has utterly mind broken the Spider-man fanbase. Every decision about Peter or anything Spider-man related has to center around Miles these days. Can Peter truly not carry his own world anymore? Sure seems like it.
No, it has mindbroken the people making Spider-Man media, literally unprecedented levels of mindbrokenness in an IP that historically made bank on a solo white character, like imagine if Mario games and movies and cartoons started adding a token black Mario in everything and how the fanbase would react to him
>There's plenty of media that's just about Peter though, you moron.
Not in the last 10 years since Miles was made, no
>Not that you'd know that judging by how it's fanbase whines about Miles 24/7
That's only Cinemaphile, the rest of the public facing """fanbase""" like twitter and reddit can't stop saying shit like "where's Miles/when are they adding Miles to this/this Spider-Man story would be improved with Miles replacing Peter/Miles is the best Spider-Man" without ever giving any reason why, simply to ease their white guilt and virtue signal, which is what causes Cinemaphile to whine about him along with the fact creators actually listen to reddit/twitter.
That changes the fact that out of 20 major pieces of Spider-Man media in the 12 years since Miles was made, Miles was in 15, how?

This is such a stupid point that I'm not sure how to respond really. Peter is the star, Peter is the focus and Peter is the major driving force behind most of those but it doesn't count because it's not 100%?

That's not an argument. Both can be true, remove the one and the other remains to ruin him still
>The fact that all you can do is throw your poop and whine because Spider-verse is popular just shows how full of shit you are
It's not very popular and what little popularity it got was mostly due to the animation and the appeal of Spider-Man's multiverse, not Miles, the makers of these movies know that and that's why they're deadly afraid of making Miles stand on his own

Is it still rape if Bailey paralyzes you first? Do you stay hard when he does? Does him biting you make you hard? Does Electro have a giant boner right now?
Lol what kind of wieneramamie explanation do they have or not have in regards to those fangs magically phasing/clipping through his skin tight, latex, gimp mask? Man Bagley isn't giving two shits about this. Electro jobbing doesn't surprise me since Slott needs some character that people care about to be involved but isn't too big like Ock or Goblin and doesn't need an arc dedicated to. Which is ok but man, nobody tries to write him at all into something more. Though Slott couldn't if he tried.

Ah yeah ok. Makes sense. Unstable molecules tend to be a catch-all explanatory way to get rid of costume inconsistencies. Not sure how to feel about it. If I wrote it, I would use it too or some nano tech BS but then sometimes it kind of cheapens Peter's hand-made suit and makes him look stupid for not using it. Though I guess that's always been a fact that has been ignored.
He also grew 4 extra eyes on his forehead, but I guess you weren't paying attention to that.
Alright he already has eyes that are around his main ones so adding 4 more on top of that made me overlook them because adding even more muddled the design into looking even more like shit. Excuse me for not noticing that.

Yeah, I dislike the unstable molecules nonsense. Bailey does wear the rest of his costume under his regular clothes though, so I think it's just the mask and shoes that have that technology. Hope it stays that way.

In what way? Slott had expressed he plans to make Spider-Boy's stories be strange. Are you referring to when he recently explained to the overemotional crybabies of Twitter why their favorites didn't get an ongoing?
Friendly reminder that Miles is a more artificial character than Bailey, who was literally retconned into existence in one of the dumbest ways possible.
Miles is an inversion of everything that made Peter's story tragic with twice the powerset and nothing to replace the gaping hole left in the drama with zero dead parents, super powered girlfriends who can take care of themselves, no personal guilt over his uncle's death, the ability to juggle superhero work, school, and his personal life perfectly, and a venom blast that consistently makes jobbers out of what should be global level threats.
Spider-boy feels like a fill in the blank writing challenge Slott didn't get half way through before publishing.
>with zero dead parents
Aren't they both dead in the comics? And his dad is dead in the games. The only continuity they're both alive right now is the movies.
Nah both his parents are alive in the comics but his mom did die for a minute but then he got booted to the 616 where Molecule Man did him a solid for giving him a burger and gave him his family back

Because Bailey isn't made by a fat israelite with some clout left in the company nor is he a minority they can push for ESG points. So he can easily be cancelled & forgotten forever.
I'm just gonna say it. I think the concept of Spider-Boy sounds cool. But you fricking weirdo pedophiles have to fricking ruin it with your weird shit. So I'm not going to touch it.
I can summarize it for you.
Ahem.
Jews ruin everything.
He also has to find his big titty goth mommy in future comics.
It's gonna be a really cool run.
This shouldn't be a throwaway line. Spider-Boy/Bailey should go to work for the Bugle (perhaps after Peter puts in a good word) or Jameson as a newsboy/gopher and wear clip-on bow ties while on the job. Sort of an answer to Peter's classic sweater vest and tie look.
He's already got the red hair and the freckles (although a bit more Bart Allen-ish). And his psychic spider sense means that everyone around the city has a "signal watch" of sorts as opposed to him having it.
If I had to do my own version of Spiderman, I'd make him someone who embodies part of the core ethos of the character: The misery and difficulty >Mutated into a chitinous humanoid who can't even speak >Homeless as a result >Fighting absolutely hellish opponents who would turn most Spidermen into corpses. His version of Gobby is literally a pagan cambion for fricks sake. >No end in sight.
Good thing is no one cares about any of them enough to give anyone but Miles a solo again. So they're just relegated to spider-verse books. It's better Kaine is left forgotten.
I think Marvel knows an ongoing or anything like that will probably not last long because people might call her storylines a rip off of Evangelion. Venom in her universe is just Bardiel.
When it comes to all things Spidey, Slott is their golden boy. He gets what he wants, even if he has to wait a while like he did with The Clone Conspiracy.
Spider-Boy.
Rui from Demon Slayer.
Shiki from Kemono Jihen.
Honestly I'd ask for a group pic of them together in a drawthread, but wouldn't know where to ask given it's one Cinemaphile character and two Cinemaphile ones.
Finally, now every time Miles shows up in something I have someone that allows me to say "I think Miles should retire after an adventure or two so Bailey can replace him"
That will absolutely 100% not happen.
They would never allow that to happen in a positive light whatsoever.
But the gayboy thing just seems to be very possible these days.
And I'm not saying it as someone who wants it to happen. I was asking genuinely what the chances are.
I would say 11%. The kid hasn't gone through puberty and has shown no preference one way or the other, but this Marvel if hes popular and continues selling it might be something the writers gets get into. If this is their answer to shounen and want this to be sold mainly to boys 10-15 it would be very stupid to make him gay.

You aren't allowed to hate this. Anyone can wear the mask so that means you have to gobble up any Spider shitter no matter how forced and poorly written he is
If Spider-Boy is indeed the son of Ben and Stephanie Briggs, it would explain a lot (and would make him Peter's "nephew" since Spider-Man considers Ben to be his brother). This line from Spider-Man #8 is particularly interesting:
>I'm only getting a reading because Pete was here. And Pete and I are --
Yep.
It's certainly possible that Chasm could be a major Spider-Boy villain (i.e. the evil father battling the good son), although I keep hoping that Chasm is really Spidercide (and that the current "Ben" was Spidercide all along since Clone Conspiracy). However, it's clear that Bailey's mother is Stephanie (she's also a redhead) and that she is dead. I'm also guessing Peter took the kid under his webs as a sidekick since he's technically Ben Reilly's boy.
The other possibility is that Joe Wade could be Bailey's dad, but I doubt it.
The traversal without web shooters sounds more interesting.
He could be a more stealth based character with parkour elements and paralyzing bite takedowns. In fact he could do the obligatory stealth sections and make them not totally suck because if you get caught it'd not an instant game over since he can actually fight half decent.
What is the point of all the different Spider-People? I don't read the comics so my knowledge on Spider-Man is a mix-mash of the cartoons, movies, games, and some of the comics.
What role do they play in the grand scheme of Peter's life?
How do I get Marvel to approve of my Spider-Man independent comic run and publish it? I feel like I could do better than Slott at writing a Spider-Man story from the beginning of the series.
You can't sign up on r34 right now, but you can make a gelbooru account without an email and put the stuff there. There's actually already a Spider-Boy tag if you can believe it.
Not even a little, reverse color looks stupid though probably more realistic to how spiders look
Why the frick does he need visors on the side of his head
theres nothing to be hyped about and i dont care about them adding spider-boy after they just got rid of ben reilly and turned him into chasm. i'd prefer they got his story and build up out of the way before adding another character to be written out of peters life in the next few months
Just fricking kill Ben off. He's only been dogshit since he was revived

shota
Wheres this article?
https://twitter.com/SpiderMan/status/1673392676886945808
Yes. I find his story intriguing so far.
>somehow he’s known all the other main Spidermen for years and went on a bunch of adventures with them
>we just never heard of him because he’s somehow been taken out of the connected verse
>but don’t worry, he’s back and ready for more adventures with your favorite spidermen!
he’s just too forced
My guess is that Spiderboy if he doesn't gain any traction turns into a canceled run or mini series after like 5 or 6 issues.
I'm assuming he'll just end up like the spider mobile. Man, that was a story.
Maybe he will team up with Alpha to frick off to nowhere.
Meh. I like the idea of someone who apparently existed but there is no proof that they did. We see that in the latest comic and the story has many ways to go.
Will you frick off already? No one is buying this, shill
>I like the idea of someone who apparently existed but there is no proof that they did
Just read Sentry original story.
Didn't DC do this bit of "character that was there all along, it just happened that nobody mentioned him" with Triumph in the 90s? And I wanna say Marvel did it with a girl superhero not long ago, it was part of an event or something?
Isn’t it sentry’s main schtick?
Voyager in No Surrender. She was a villain who manipulated everyone's memories to make them think she had been there the whole time.
Sounds too logical of a twist. Slott claims he wants Spider-Boy's story to be weird as frick so prepare for something very ridiculous.
>Maybe I'm too generous, I feel like that's the point. He's obviously not what he seems
Even that is overused at this point.
>I wouldn't be surprised if he's some gay shit like the Spider-totem itself wanting to play human after millenia just weaving webs and finally saw his chance
>2000 year old spider shota
What do you even call that?
Hot.
Ok yes. That much is obvious. But there's the term e-girlbaba for thousand year old e-girls. Is there not a name for millennia old shotas?
>Is there not a name for millennia old shotas?
not to my knowledge
That's the whole point. He's literally a guy who got retconned out of existence and now he's been un-retconned but nobody remembers him whatsoever
"Mixed response" my ass. Literally only shotagays give a frick about him, and even then it's only for potential smut.
That doesn't suddenly make him any less of a goddamn Poochie.
You know damn well Slott isn't smart enough to make actual commentary.
>You know damn well Slott isn't smart enough to make actual commentary
But we do know he's been here before and that he potentially cribbed the commentary from anons
He has been here? Got proof?
He's more like Poochie commentary
Yeah but that's stupid, it was stupid when Sentry did it too
I'm 100% certain he was created to one-up DCEU in case The Flash movie was successful so they could add him to Spiderverse or MCU before DC introduces Wally or Jay Gerrick as "being trapped in the Speedforce out of canon" before being "brought back" like in the comics.
No way sony gives a frick about him slott was begging insomniac to add him in game
By begging you mean a random joke tweet you gays blow out of proportion? Real begging on Twitter is the Hello Neighbor developers at Matpat/Game Theory. Now THAT was something to mock.
The guy behind that got fired even
He's like a living shitpost and indirectly pokes fun at all the moronic Spiderverse shit. Some random butthole just gets poofed into existence after being erased at some point? Sure, why not. Why the frick not at this point?
This, he's basically daring people to say shit about him they would've said about Miles but couldn't because of his race
Spider-boy feels forced because he is. His name, his gimmick, his design, all feels like a parody of what Miles would be if he came out around the 2000's as another forgotten sidekick to a heavy hitter. For fricksake his costume is just a an inverted version of Peters but with sneakers
If Slott came out and said Spider-boy was his way of poking fun at the vast existence of Spider-people while also trying to get his Royalty check I'd applaude him
If Slott wasn't the one who heavily contrubuted to that Spiderverse cancer in the first place, it'd be actually commendable.
Isn't that the joke?
So 2023 Sentry?
This is the 3rd time Marvel has pulled a Sentry and they are getting exceedingly worse at it
Miles isn't even native to Peter's world.
JJ, big scoop! I found spider-boy's real identity!
>based Sentry re-con intro
only milesgays complain, just because not even KILLING Peter (if thats not forced i don't know what is) and givin him extra "slavery reparations" super-powers make people accept the Nu-spider-man
also it's sidekick people will accept easier a sidekick out of nowhere than a faker killing the original to force imself
>t. Dan Slott
I wish
Why the frick are they catering to Slott and his desperate need for royalty money? Also, "Mixed"? Everyone is laughing their asses off on how stupid this all is
They are using Twitter. Some people have expressed their interests and the like button on promos indicate that Spider-Boy does have an audience. However, I suspect you are among those Twitter comic gays who prefer their echo chambers.
Frick off shill
>No rebuttal or any attempt to deny it
Kek. You comic gays are as predictable like manga gays. Casual readers aren't this moronic.
People are upset because their nobodies are not getting an ongoing instead of another nobody.
What's it like existing only to bait people? Go get some real friends, bro
It feels like there are like twelve superfluous Spider-People in comics right now, why all the hate towards this one specifically?
Hate towards slott and what editorial said about Ben Reilly is the reason a lot of people are turned off about it.
>It's kinda insane that slott has to defend the existence of the character before he is even out.
What has Marvel editorial been saying about Ben?
This was Lowe's justification for turning Ben into a villain for the third time in just over five years despite fans having hated it the first two times. Ben can't be a hero while Peter and Miles are around, but Bailey is allowed to exist and they're bringing Superior back when the previous run only lasted a year.
Can we just have a Scarlet Spiders book with Ben and Kaine then?! Or at least a limited where Ben/Chasm is tormenting Kaine ala The Lost Years
When will DeMatteis save Ben from this shitstorm of Chasm?! He already has a fix locked and load, just make Clone Conspiracy Ben into Spidercide.
Even 'cide deserves better. Janine too.
WTF is even going on in that image? Blonde spideys? Where is that from?
Ben Reilly Spider-Man by JM DeMatteis. Great read.
What's the name of the series? Was it storytimed?
That's the title, it's a 5 issue mini happening at the time Ben Reilly took over in the 90s. It's been storytimed a few times, I can do it tomorrow if you want.
Bring back Spidercide and Rek-Rap
I just want another Kane and Aracely book.
>San Francisco
>Seattle
can't too many asians in those cities
Asians tend to congregate in liberal areas, and cities in general. Cities seem to be their natural habitats.
Even Peter's clones get treated terribly.
He's white and male. And a ginger. The nerve.
You mean like Miles when he was brought over to 616, hmm..
Hey Linkara
>Plus people already harp on about Miles
>Because his gimmick is that he was retconned into always having existed, which is silly.
It's technically the opposite: his gimmick is he got retconned into never existing. So the meta "joke" is all the Spider-Man comics we have are actually the retconned versions. Unlike Sentry, where the joke is we're seeing a character inserted in and everyone around him acting as though he was a long time ally, in this one we're seeing a character inserted in but no one around him remembers anything about him.
>retconned into always having existed
holy frick wasn't Sentry bad enough
He's like Sentry without people remembering the retcons to the past, so that he has knowledge about characters a "fresh" character wouldn't while still being a new face to everyone.
Can't criticize Miles or you're racist.
Can't criticize any of the women or you're sexist.
No one shits on Ben better than Marvel editorial does.
What else are you left with?
>feels like there are like twelve superfluous Spider-People in comics right now
Get used Marvelgays, this is your bat-family now. Just wait for the next crossover event where 45% of the characters in the universe will be Spider-Man centric
Straw. Camel. We have WAY TOO MANY Spiders already.
Miles was the last straw and they kept piling them on anyway
I always hated every new Spider-Shitter who isn't Peter Parker. It's you guys who keep gaslighting me how other Spider-People would never infer with his stories.
Did you like Venom when he was introduced? Or was he already an established character when you started engaging with Spider-Man media?
What gotcha are you trying to get here? Is Venom to you the same thing as Spider-Man (Miles Morales) or Spider-Man (Miguel Ohara) or Spider-Man (Peter Parker) or Spider-Man (Peter Parker Noir) or Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) or Spider-Woman (Gwen Stacy)
I'm genuinely curious as to how you feel about Vemom being introduced as an element of Peter's life and then growing into it's own character.
Because he's clearly being forced and nothing about his characte rmakes any sense.
Will his entire rouge gallery be made up of older girls and women?
According to Marvel, we are going to be introduced to his first villain named Madame Monstrosity that turns him into a creature.
>tf fetish
wewlad
Slott's going all-out on this one. The wee barrelly boi's gone barmy, on a mad quest to set the world aflame for that royalty money.
>mixed
Well, I guess that's still better than when DC started pumping out as much Batkek content as possible.
I've still yet to find someone who's ever said that they wanted more Batkek.
>I guess that's still better than when DC started pumping out as much Batkek content as possible
DC needs Batkek back at this point.
He also implied Peter expanding his spider-sense until he could fell everyone in danger was Peter trying to be like him, whatever that means.
>no webbing
Guess he hasn't hit Spider-puberty yet
I sure am
>ginger
not for long
Slott gave him the "Spider-Boy" moniker as a good luck charm
>calls him Spider-Boy to prevent other people from race swapping his OC
Slott-sama, I kneel...
Your move, israelites
Didn't realize she was still around
Why does everyone care so much about Spider Shota? Are Spideydrones just absolutely starved for content that they need to fill the catalog with dozens of threads about this kid?
>Why does everyone care so much about Spider Shota?
You answered your own question, anon.
I want pedophiles to die
they are finaly renaming miles?
>Gwen starts hanging out with Spider-Boy over Miles
WEW
>she starts letting him stay overnight with her
Lol no. I'll be surprised if he last more than 2 years. He's not offensive or anything, I just currently don't see me ever being interested in him given how totally out of left field he is. So far he hadn't added anything to the comics but who knows.
Better than Miles at least
This
Holy shit, you're right.
>Better than Miles at least
>Because...He....white
It's because he's different from Peter
It's refreshing how no one likes him, Peter flat out ignored this 9 year old kid and went 'frick this shit, you take care of it Silk'. And then she didn't.
Ironically we like him more than Miles despite the fact that everyone likes Miles
than comic book miles? Yeah, but that's easy mode
It was so infuriating seeing every possible thread that could be used to make him unique done away with and replaced by Peter's old cast of side characters.
>another dumbass who thinks there's anything meaningfully different between comic and movie Miles
>Miles was a boring non-character before Spider-verse
What's his character in the movies?
unsure young hero out to prove himself. Very bog standard shit, not anything spectacular and its definitely retread in the second movie. It's Miles' parents and his uncle doing like 50% of the work in the movies to make Miles a more interesting character with the other Spider-people doing another 40% and Miles pulling that last 10%.
It ain't about Miles, it's about the characters he's around and the world he interacts with. When Miles became Spider-man in the comic books, he basically adopted all of Peter's relationships, but without the charisma and at the expense of everything Bendis had set up that could make him unique.
>It ain't about Miles, it's about the characters he's around and the world he interacts with.
Spider-Man's characters and world?
yes lol
at last the gingers will have their revenge
Miguel better also Miles is still boring and likes white troony wiener
>Slott making his way back into Spider-Editorial despite previously claiming that he was totally satisfied with having spent a whole decade ruining Spider-Man
I'll give the Spider-Boy ongoing a shot, although I don't get why Bailey's team-up in the first issue is with Squirrel Girl if he's supposed to be Peter's sidekick.
hes a ginger he will be replaced by black
Nobody is going to call a black kid Spider-BOY.
Damn, looks like Slott checkmated Hollywood
Why the FRICK would anyone want this literal who when we already have characters fighting for relevancy? It’s as if his entire existence is to prevent people from calling Miles Spider-Boy.
>This literal who brand new OC gets his own series.
>Peni can barely get a miniseries as part of an online only anthology.
Doesn't that have to do with how derivative she is of Evangelion?
Sh...shut up.
She can do other things! Why shouldn't she?
Guy who made her is from My Chemical Romance.
How would Peni fans will cope against Bailey Comic series?
>would
You mean will, since he's already getting one. Also, Peni needs a boyfriend.
>Also, Peni needs a boyfriend.
Peni as a tsundere? Yes please.
Asuka's into some freaky shit
Why can't we all get along instead? I like both of them.
Milesisters.. . . . First Racist Spiderman 2099 then BalieyChad taken Peni and Now has Racist 99 abilities.. .
>Miles lost so hard even his thumbnail is corrupted
Those people saying Bailey is better than Miles are laughing at Miles fans
>Call him Spider Boy
>Despite his powers and size making him more like a Flea
missed opportunity and it's wasted.
He jumps good and jumping spiders are a thing.
the only real "flea" would be tiny Ai Apaec.
To be honest, Spider-Man's powers are more like a fly's than a spider. It's always kind of bummed me out that the different spider-men didn't have more spider-based powers.
I remember making the idea of Spider-Boy over a decade ago on Cinemaphile and I only got like a few responses and some of them said it was a bad idea
And a decade later out of complete coincidence Marvel makes a Spider-Boy. And the anons back then were right.
lmao
was he a cute ginger shota?
Stop.
I'm guessing he wasn't, that was your mistake anon
Of course not, I don't read shitty western comics.
This isn't a bad idea. Benjy (Peter's son and May's kid brother) could thus "inherit" the Spider-Boy mantle down the line. Won't happen though.
No, it's because Bailey was not created as a Spider-Man replacement for racial reasons.
>still no r34 tag
I would upload the lewds I have of him, but I can't make an account on Paheal.
>but I can't make an account on Paheal
why not? just use a temp email
Registration is disabled.
wonder for how long that'll be
you can actually make a gelbooru account right now. doesn't even require an email and there's already a spider-boy tag.
oh yeah they've restricted signups for the time being
If Silk adopts him
Spider-Boy is for Black Cat!
Spider-Boy is for Kaine!
Remember when Marvel used to make fun of DC for having too many spin-off characters?
All superheroes and villains should be shotas.
Comics would improve overnight.
True.
Stick to manga, man.
>It's slott writing the book. He doesn't know how to do meta.
That never stopped people like Tom King or Chuck Paluahniuk
only if shit takes a really dark turn and he becomes spideys kid miracle man
>kek the only reason this new character is white is because they couldn't call any other color "boy" without getting twitter wrecked.
Also this is trash. Is Slott capable of embarrassment?
Are the shota fans this powerful?
If we trust the number Slott shared on Twitter, yes they are
the sentry did it better
I am hyped for Miles to die a horrible death and Spider-Boy becoming THA REAL SPOODERMENG and doing HIZ OWN THAANG. Frick Miles.
how many homies can get bit by the same spider?
Man Miles has utterly mind broken the Spider-man fanbase. Every decision about Peter or anything Spider-man related has to center around Miles these days. Can Peter truly not carry his own world anymore? Sure seems like it.
No, it has mindbroken the people making Spider-Man media, literally unprecedented levels of mindbrokenness in an IP that historically made bank on a solo white character, like imagine if Mario games and movies and cartoons started adding a token black Mario in everything and how the fanbase would react to him
There's plenty of media that's just about Peter though, you moron. Not that you'd know that judging by how it's fanbase whines about Miles 24/7
>Not in the last 10 years since Miles was made, no
But we just had No Way Home break a billion
That changes the fact that out of 20 major pieces of Spider-Man media in the 12 years since Miles was made, Miles was in 15, how?
This is such a stupid point that I'm not sure how to respond really. Peter is the star, Peter is the focus and Peter is the major driving force behind most of those but it doesn't count because it's not 100%?
This is exactly what I mean when I said that Miles mindbroke you btw.
>no argument
>character no one liked being piled on into more and more Spider-Man media fine because.. it just is
>character no one would like if he were white ruining the established and beloved solo dynamic in everything fine because.. it just is
>no argument
To what? I pointed out that Peter is the focus of the big important movies, cartoons and games but you just went
>w-well Miles exist so it doesn't count!
That's not an argument. Also you're fricking moronic if you think Miles is actively ruining Peter right now and it's not the same shit that has been ruining him since they stepped in with One More Day and started treating him like a moronic manchild because they don't want his manchild fans (you btw) to riot.
The fact that all you can do is throw your poop and whine because Spider-verse is popular just shows how full of shit you are
Yes, you just pointed out something that has absolutely nothing to do with the argument
>if you think Miles is actively ruining Peter right now and it's not the same shit that has been ruining him since they stepped in with One More Day and started treating him like a moronic manchild
Both can be true, remove the one and the other remains to ruin him still
>The fact that all you can do is throw your poop and whine because Spider-verse is popular just shows how full of shit you are
It's not very popular and what little popularity it got was mostly due to the animation and the appeal of Spider-Man's multiverse, not Miles, the makers of these movies know that and that's why they're deadly afraid of making Miles stand on his own
Peter barely has anything to do with Miles in the comic, moron. The only thing of note that they've even been together in are the playstation games and Peter is still obviously the star and miles isn't actively ruining him there at all.
>It's not very popular
Man you're so out of touch.
>a token black Mario
>Cinemaphile dickrides this character just to stick it Miles
sad
He's a better legacy in every way, the tears from Bendisgays are just a bonus.
He's literally everything wrong with Miles amplified though.
He's the Anti-Miles.
>not a replacement
>popped into existence, rightfully no one cares about him
>less powers, not more
>immediately rejected by Peter instead of completely distorting his character to get praised over nothing
>on his own and against the world, the most basic fricking aspect of Spider-Man even Slott couldn't miss
>goofy and not the cool kid, or what bald fat gay israelites think passes as cool anyway
Do keep up the cope however, between this and Spider-Gwen's gender reveal party I'm having a blast.
>and Spider-Gwen's gender reveal party I'm having a blast
Gwen grooming Bailey when?
Kek
Literally this. He's fricking homeless for Christ's sake
Amazing how making a character the struggling underdog instead of a Gary Stu everyone in-story loves immediately and changes their lives around makes them more likable, you'd think Spider-Man writers would know that
He’s a literal Hobo Spider.
He's already better than Miles
This.
i wanna ruffle his hair so badly
He's a bit too boxy in the torso
I think I'm in love bros.....
I wonder how he'll look being drawn by other artists
God I need to see him in a skirt
Here you go.
Here is angry and determined Bailey.
>less powers, not more
>How stupid is it that they gave Miles electricity powers (because lol black) and called it venom... in a universe where fricking Venom already exists.
Your pleas were answered
>paralyzing bites
The possibilities...
Holy shit that is fricking terrifying. Are we sure he is not related to Miguel O'Hara with those fangs? In seriousness I am liking him more and more.
>Ripping off Miguel
It's a Spider-God trying to pretend he's a kid.
BAILEY PLEASE DON'T PARALYZE AND RAPE ME AIEEEEEEEEEE
Miguel would definitely like Bailey more than Miles
Because he’s not black, or because he was retconned?
Yes actually, the SPIDER in spider boy was actually literal for once
>Because he’s not black, or because he was retconned?
Also yes
The website is like "Miles who?"
Did he grow an extra four eyes on his forehead too?
Electro bros... I kneel to the chad Spider-Boy.
Yeesh. Bailey went from cute to frightening.
Guess that's what the Spider-Boy #1 solicit meant when it said Madame Monstrosity (Spider-Boy rogue) originally turned Bailey into a monster.
>Bailey will never give you a love bite
agreed
Someone needs to make fanart of Bailey hanging out with Miguel now.
Slott did say he was going to make Bailey's story be strange as possible.
Well, the only Slott comic I've read is Silver Surfer and he pulled nice the "strange" factor. This can be cool.
He also grew 4 extra eyes on his forehead, but I guess you weren't paying attention to that.
The explanation is likely going to be something involving Reed Richards since according to Bailey he made his backpack.
Is the rest of his suit just as permeable?
We haven't seen anything yet but probably not? The suit appeared to be basic when he took it off to wear his civilian clothes.
And his sneakers.
What's he got on under that suit then?
>What's he got on under that suit then?
Spider-Boy wears his costume under his regular clothes in traditional Spidey fashion (thank God it doesn't magically appear and disappear or something). But underneath his super suit?
His birthday suit? Hanes? Speedos maybe?
I want to think he wears cute Spiderman-themed briefs like pic related.
I would request a drawgay draw Bailey in these, but you know
sorry its so crappy
fukken saved!
He's adorable. I made a quick edit of your pic for no reason in particular.
I have more pics from drawthreads, but I won't be able to post them until I get home in 12 hours 🙁
Nice.
they made him too innocent looking
and not bratty looking
i hate it
perfecto
>Reed makes sneakers
I feel there is a joke here.
Does this mean he jumps so high thanks to the shoes?
Alright he already has eyes that are around his main ones so adding 4 more on top of that made me overlook them because adding even more muddled the design into looking even more like shit. Excuse me for not noticing that.
>Excuse me for not noticing that.
You're not excused, homosexual.
Yeah, I dislike the unstable molecules nonsense. Bailey does wear the rest of his costume under his regular clothes though, so I think it's just the mask and shoes that have that technology. Hope it stays that way.
>but then sometimes it kind of cheapens Peter's hand-made suit
You mean the gay and ugly piss tech suit he's got in this iteration of Spidey? Stop being such a homosexual boomer, anon.
I like the classic suit when it's normal and not ugly as you said. But then you go onto say that I am a boomer for not liking the classic suit as it is now or that I even like the classic suit in the first place? Wtf are you even trying to say? Either you're an ESL or a schizo or both. Regardless, stop shitting up the thread with shit bait.
I'm saying you're a fricking moron who's clearly out of touch with the current state of Spider-Man.
He's actually still pretty cute here
>freckled ginger shota
>paralyzing bite power
>lots of wild & silly energy
He's perfect.
I still find it funny, all the people that he was gonna be some other token race and/or trans.
That's hot
He's not a Gary Stu and has actual problems and characterization and for once he's not a raceswapped Peter Parker
>Gary Stu
Mary Sue isn't gendered, stop being a gay. And he still feels like a moronic forced character
>Mary Sue isn't gendered
Yes it is moron. Mary Sues are functionally different from Gary Stus most of the time
Mary Sue is gendered. It's named after the first mary sue. I mean not historically, that would be like gilgamesh or dante but she was the first fanfiction character who was perfect and could do no wrong.
Imagine being such a terrible writer your character stands for a boring, overpowered, always right character who's invincible
>A star trek fan faction gave birth to Mary Sue
From the fandom that brought you slash fiction, welcome our latest addition, the Mary Sue!
>Imagine being such a terrible writer your character stands for a boring, overpowered, always right character who's invincible
It was literally a parody of bad Star Trek fanfiction self-inserts at the time.
There is no way you guys are actually enjoying the new Poochie character
I'm intrigued, seems to be a direct response to typical legacy pitfalls coming from Slott of all people.
Contrarianism is a hell of a drug.
>Why don't people have the same opinion as me?
>We are now entering a new stage where people will unironically say Spider-Boy is better than Miles just to make the 2 Milesgays seethe
Holy shit, we're getting even more pathetic here bros
The unironic difference between Miles and Spider-Boy is that nobody expects you to take Spider-Boy seriously. That's why he's better.
That's not what Slotts twitter activity says dumbo
In what way? Slott had expressed he plans to make Spider-Boy's stories be strange. Are you referring to when he recently explained to the overemotional crybabies of Twitter why their favorites didn't get an ongoing?
Nobody cares what Slott thinks.
How stupid is it that they gave Miles electricity powers (because lol black) and called it venom... in a universe where fricking Venom already exists.
Idk i do feel like this character will get relegated to silk treatment after a year or so.
You think the reason they never gave Bailey webs is because he always kept webbing himself up in embarrassing positions haha?
Friendly reminder that Miles is a more artificial character than Bailey, who was literally retconned into existence in one of the dumbest ways possible.
I want more shota porn, yes.
based
freckled butt cheeks
A fellow man of taste, I see.
Shota
He's already 100% better a character than Miles
the frick is spider boy? i haven't been here in a long time
Nothing. Less than nothing.
And yet somehow more than Spider-Poochie
Nah both his parents are alive in the comics but his mom did die for a minute but then he got booted to the 616 where Molecule Man did him a solid for giving him a burger and gave him his family back
But they're like a completely different set of parents, right? Or do they completely ignore that fact?
It was a reality crunch or whatever so they're still his parents or whatever. Don't think about it too hard, I'm still not sure how porting Miles to 616 even works still.
>Or do they completely ignore that fact?
What do you think?
>Aren't they both dead in the comics?
His mom died in Ultimates. I thought he basically had no motivational tragedy in 616 after being brought over.
SHOTA
>Despite mixed response from fans
aka he's white so some twittergays are upset.
If 90%of people hated him but he was black they would be praising it.
People hated him long before the reveal you moronic tourist.
If Spider-Boy actually turns out to be a good character with a compelling story, that would be the funniest outcome.
I have Spider exhaustion.
>/ss/ crime soars
Hue
Miles still exists despite everyone hating him so why did anyone think that would affect Spider-Boy?
Because Bailey isn't made by a fat israelite with some clout left in the company nor is he a minority they can push for ESG points. So he can easily be cancelled & forgotten forever.
He looks moronic
Kids are moronic
>People still give Ramos work
I know he's cheap but damn.
Spider-Boy Pichelli cover when?
Now imagine it with Dylan Brock Venom who's only a little older at most.
uuuuuoooooohhhhhh
>aggressive blonde bully and wimpy messy haired freckled kid
Where have I seen this before
Bailey doesn't come off as wimpy.
He doesn't even have webs
I just hope they don't suddenly make one of them aged to 17 yo and turned gay and given a boyfriend.
There's a shota venom?
Why haven't I heard of this?
he's cute, too! what's his deal :0
He should definitely team up with Bailey
Because he looks no different from his dad when Venom. Big missed opportunity.
Man, a child-sized Venom would have been too funny
They do the same thing with Normie but he's at least slim instead of hulking.
sauce?
That's beyond gay
And not in the good way
he's cute
does he bully the ginger shota?
who do i commission so we can have them kiss
Wish I could tell you. Finding good Shota artists that do commissions is hard
>who do i commission so we can have them kiss
it's not a commission but try the drawgay threads
dubs of truth. i have a powerful desire for art of those two.
then put in a request in the drawgay threads
I'm still waiting for art of Spider-Boy and Kid Venom together in some way.
Sick
Normie, Dylan, and Bailey team up book when?
i would fricking kill for that...
Bailey should get sent to Normie's prep school so they can become Marvel's answer to the Super Sons. Then work Dylan into it.
Spider-Man's sidekick befriending and then teaming up with the sons of his arch-nemesis and his rival sounds like a genuinely adorable idea.
I think so as well. Besides, Normie also needs all the friends at school that he can get.
Don't care.
All of the Fan Art and Fan Comics of the Shota Spider-boy and the lovely grown ladies of the Spider-verse? God, yes please.
Yes
Cinemaphile led me to believe he was popular with all the thirst posts for him
>mixed response
Blacks and milesgays are afraid
He actually provides sympathy
Is he cut or uncut?
>American
I'm sorry anon
I'm just gonna say it. I think the concept of Spider-Boy sounds cool. But you fricking weirdo pedophiles have to fricking ruin it with your weird shit. So I'm not going to touch it.
good
The reception is not my cup of tea but it reminds me of a time this site was less bad, I respect that.
it is incredibly obvious dan slott is angling for a writing credit in spider-man 3 the game 3
What issues do I read to catch up on Bailey's story?
Spider-Man #7
Spider-Man #8
Spider-Man #9
Edge of Spider-Verse #3
And Spider-Man #10 comes out next week.
I can't find these
Spider-Man #7
Spider-Man #8
Spider-Man #9
Is it not the 2022 run?
They each got storytimed on this site. Check the archives.
I found it, but thank you.
I can't find them on readcomiconline
I can summarize it for you.
Ahem.
Jews ruin everything.
He also has to find his big titty goth mommy in future comics.
It's gonna be a really cool run.
ASM #1 to #350, but from the original universe, the one where Mandela died in prison, not our own, very hard to get your hands on it
I also like how Bailey's spider sense works. The fact that he can sense when someone needs his help (and why) makes it different from Peter.
Yeah, imagine how stupid it'd be if he had the exact same Spider Sense as Peter.
>Yeah, imagine how stupid it'd be if he had the exact same Spider Sense as Peter.
Or if he could create electric swords.
Yeah, wouldn't that be fricking stupid.
>The fact that he can sense when someone needs his help (and why) makes it different from Peter
also a lot more annoying
This shouldn't be a throwaway line. Spider-Boy/Bailey should go to work for the Bugle (perhaps after Peter puts in a good word) or Jameson as a newsboy/gopher and wear clip-on bow ties while on the job. Sort of an answer to Peter's classic sweater vest and tie look.
>Jimmy Olsen with spider powers
He's already got the red hair and the freckles (although a bit more Bart Allen-ish). And his psychic spider sense means that everyone around the city has a "signal watch" of sorts as opposed to him having it.
And give him an old fashioned paperboy-looking outfit, complete with boy shorts and long socks.
If I had to do my own version of Spiderman, I'd make him someone who embodies part of the core ethos of the character: The misery and difficulty
>Mutated into a chitinous humanoid who can't even speak
>Homeless as a result
>Fighting absolutely hellish opponents who would turn most Spidermen into corpses. His version of Gobby is literally a pagan cambion for fricks sake.
>No end in sight.
So in other words Kafka's Metamorphosis but with spiders instead of a wienerroach?
Yes. Except with SUBSTANTIALLY more collateral damage. Imagine Kamen Rider Amazon level shit
I know people have b***hed about how big the batfamily gotten but this feels even more derivative than that I meana we've got:
>OG spidey
>Miles spidey
>Gwen spidey
>Silk
>Spiderwoman
>2099 spidey
and on top of that Marvel seems to want to capitalise on the spiderverse movie.
I fricking miss Caine
Good thing is no one cares about any of them enough to give anyone but Miles a solo again. So they're just relegated to spider-verse books. It's better Kaine is left forgotten.
>mixed
The only people who have anything nice to say about this as people who don't read comics anyways.
Goddamn I hate Pisser Parker
>Bailey's costume doesn't have any webbing on it because he doesn't have any webs
neat
Larger version with no lettering.
how do neither of them ever pop a spider boner?
If only I waited for this version to make this.
>tfw Vee is back
>and is already working on a Spider Boy pic
big if true. all it takes is one shotagay to draw him, then the rest will swarm like piranhas
Where
>This shit gets an ongoing
>But not Sp dr
What the frick is wrong with Marvel?
Cope.
I think Marvel knows an ongoing or anything like that will probably not last long because people might call her storylines a rip off of Evangelion. Venom in her universe is just Bardiel.
When it comes to all things Spidey, Slott is their golden boy. He gets what he wants, even if he has to wait a while like he did with The Clone Conspiracy.
>mixed reaction from fans
why? is it cause he's not a poc or taking attention away from miles?
If I had a nickle for every shota with spider-themed powers and absent parents.
I'd have 3 nickles.
which ones?
Spider-Boy.
Rui from Demon Slayer.
Shiki from Kemono Jihen.
Honestly I'd ask for a group pic of them together in a drawthread, but wouldn't know where to ask given it's one Cinemaphile character and two Cinemaphile ones.
god he's cute
Finally, now every time Miles shows up in something I have someone that allows me to say "I think Miles should retire after an adventure or two so Bailey can replace him"
I want them to stop trying to give Spiderman a "Spider Family".
buzz rip off
dark devil looks pretty cool
What are the chances that he'll fall in love with another boy his own age?
Depends on the chances of him getting molested by an older woman first or not.
That will absolutely 100% not happen.
They would never allow that to happen in a positive light whatsoever.
But the gayboy thing just seems to be very possible these days.
And I'm not saying it as someone who wants it to happen. I was asking genuinely what the chances are.
Well from a genuine stance, it's not impossible.
I would say 11%. The kid hasn't gone through puberty and has shown no preference one way or the other, but this Marvel if hes popular and continues selling it might be something the writers gets get into. If this is their answer to shounen and want this to be sold mainly to boys 10-15 it would be very stupid to make him gay.
they can have some older lady tease him a little
less than zero
So does he just jump everywhere? How's he get around with no webs?
If Peter gave him some web shooters could Bailey use them, or would the different spider sense be an impediment?
Any porn yet?
Mostly just stuff made by drawgays when Spider-Boy was first revealed.

it won't open??
works fine for me, use 7zip to unpack, or a newer version of winrar

You aren't allowed to hate this. Anyone can wear the mask so that means you have to gobble up any Spider shitter no matter how forced and poorly written he is
>milesgays butthurt cuz people love more spiderboy
cope and dilate milegays
Full cover for Spider-Boy #1.
The big shoes are dumb.
The big shoes are 00s kino
The big shoes give me Deku vibes.
Why is Cinemaphile gayer than /lgbt/?
Most pedophiles are gay and Cinemaphile is full of the former. With /lgbt/ at least you get some Bi people
Someone forgot to tell this artist it's supposed to be a 10y old. Also that he doesn't use webs lol.
If he’s actually Stephanie Briggs and Ben Reilly’ son, does that make him Peter’s nephew?
Yea
If Spider-Boy is indeed the son of Ben and Stephanie Briggs, it would explain a lot (and would make him Peter's "nephew" since Spider-Man considers Ben to be his brother). This line from Spider-Man #8 is particularly interesting:
>I'm only getting a reading because Pete was here. And Pete and I are --
It suggest they could be related somehow.
Ahh so this could be the way they push chasm as the main villain of him.
The other possibility is that Joe Wade could be Bailey's dad, but I doubt it.
https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Joseph_Wade_(Earth-616)
Mister Negative has been set up as a villain of Spider-Boy's as well.
Oh he's got psychometry, neat
He and Peter are definitely connected.
Blood relation maybe?
Got to be something like that. It would explain why Peter took him on as a sidekick.
I can't believe it but I'm getting somewhat intrigued.
>Peter is an Uncle Ben now
lol
lmao even
>Canon event incoming
Quick, call Miggy
>Peter Benjamin Parker
Oh shit
This is their dastardly plan to kill off Peter for good and replace him with Paul
>secret wars pose
every fricking time for every non peter spiderman comic
Can these hacks come up with iconic stories and imagery of their own for once
He looks like a cosplayer.
>Slott designed Bailey for young boys to cosplay
Oh no...
...frick...Marvel, y'all need to get your boy before the cops do.
Bailey for Spider-Man 3 when
The game or the next Spiderverse movie?
Insomniac game.
He would be kind of fun to play as but he needs webs. His skill set will mostly be kicking.
And biting
The traversal without web shooters sounds more interesting.
Mirror's Edge: Shota Edition
He could be a more stealth based character with parkour elements and paralyzing bite takedowns. In fact he could do the obligatory stealth sections and make them not totally suck because if you get caught it'd not an instant game over since he can actually fight half decent.
Miles is already a bit more of a stealth oriented character.
Is going invisible really stealth or is it just fricking cheating?
It’s still stealth, even if it’s a little bit overpowered, and has its uses outside of just stealth.
I would read a Bailey Splinter Cell like comic
>but he needs webs
He 100% doesn't. Miles is getting a gd glider suit in the next game. Also, this exists.
Both Peter and Miles are getting the glider web armpits
Prototype was a good game.
>Be Greater
>Be Yourself
>Be Greater Together
What would be the tagline for Bailey’s game?
>Be Wilder and Sillier
>buy my comic
What is the point of all the different Spider-People? I don't read the comics so my knowledge on Spider-Man is a mix-mash of the cartoons, movies, games, and some of the comics.
What role do they play in the grand scheme of Peter's life?
Merchandising! Where all the real money is made!
Spider-Man is the biggest money maker marvel has so they're just filling the universe with more of him
How do I get Marvel to approve of my Spider-Man independent comic run and publish it? I feel like I could do better than Slott at writing a Spider-Man story from the beginning of the series.
Have you tried being israeli?
My father is israeli is that enough?
>It really isn't helping that there seems to be no consistent art direction on how to draw Spider-Boy
Welcome to modern comics.
Otty The Notty's gonna be all over this kid when he finds out about him
It's actually a pretty decent design.
So can he grow an extra 4 arms like Doppelganger?
You can't sign up on r34 right now, but you can make a gelbooru account without an email and put the stuff there. There's actually already a Spider-Boy tag if you can believe it.

another spiderman inheritor that's not mayday. Why would I care?
Because he’s Peter’s nephew/son
That's what I'm guessing (his nephew).
