What’s the them of Star Wars in general? Like, Lucas can say it’s about fathers and sons or whatever, but that never comes into play until Episodes 5 and 6. Is it about war? What does it say about war? Gundam is about how war breaks people and the cyclical nature of humanity. Does Star Wars say anything similar?
Considering the mandalorians are literal woe is me I’m a victim African tier morons that love to fight and live to ruin other peoples days and they’re now seen as heroic no, the point of Star Wars is not to criticize war, at least not anymore.
I already thought it all out. It's cuckoldry, my fellow anon. It is also heavily recurring, as seen in Kenobi series. Under a guise of Grogu, a cute Baby Yoda who captivates the entire fan base and bystanding women alike, ~~*Disney*~~ is doing something vile. If you are intelligent enough you will see through it but most won't. The major theme and idea behind the show is that there is something noble, desirable and honorable in a masculine man to dedicate his own time, health and resources into looking after someone else's children. We see it with Din going through enormous lengths for an alien child despite having opportunities to settle down with a woman of his own or usurp the Mandalorian throne. He sacrifices becoming something greater doing shit jobs for shit people before reuniting with the little one only to embark on a quest for Grogu's sake in the futur for sure.
Quite timely messages to push given there is a single mother epidemic, who are ready to settle for scraps, out there and a lot of the fanbase are desperate losers with disposable income; men are naturally reluctant about taking care of Chad's children and this subtle, subliminal messaging is supposed to condition them and normalise taking care of others' kids.
But Grogu is depicted as an orphan who lost everything and get attached to a new father figure. Mando himself is an orphan. It has nothing to do with becoming a provider.
An orphan is still somebody else's child. Not yours to look after. Yes, there is a "foundling" dynamic as part of their clan/sect growth but it doesn't change that raising another's child is literal cuckoldry. It's not just watching getting cheated on, that's the original meaning of the term. Din should have found himself a girl and make children with her who would be raised with whatever ethos children of the watch have.
Remember how it was about some literal who going about having adventures and not being best frens suddenly with every dogshit head-canon tier character from some cartoon and how refreshing it was?
Yeah, well they somehow fricked that up too.
This. It went from cool western/samurai and cub in the Star Wars universe to "let's see how many filoni characters we can jam into a 8 episode season" real fast
>Bring Luke back >Send Grogu off to train with him >Undo all of that for literally no reason
I don't care anymore. Whoever is writing this crap has completely lost their mind.
They never should have put Luke in the Mandalorian in the first place, but post-sequels Star Wars will NEVER pass up a chance for a moronic applause cameo to pander to nitwits
>They never should have put Luke in the Mandalorian in the first place,
I could see it if he was a success with Grogu, but he has no reason to have the hubris that led him to the confrontation with his nephew.
Mando was great because of how it had a small budget. It seems like when smaller budgeted star wars always becomes more focused. Mando didn't even have any merch made, which is huge since Disney makes double their money on shirts. As soon as they're given a blank check, Boba-Shitt and Obi-Wan, they turn out awful, because at that point Disney has invested a ton of money into it and want to be sure it becomes successful, so they make it as broad and for general audiences instead of telling a focused story that only some audiences will enjoy
Also I'm gay
I would be interested in the mandalorian if it was just fun stand-alone episodes like that sandworm one, but instead it just devolved into him putting together a gang of completely indistinguishable mulatto women to run around a spaceship doing spin kicks for what felt like a million fricking years, it was such a slog and I have no memory of any of it. I don't even remember how many of them there were or any of their names, I just don't fricking care. And the way they expect me to be basedfacing over skywalker and boba fett makes me fricking sick.
I enjoyed Season 1 more than I thought I would, but couldn't make it through all of Season 2. Didn't even bother with Boba Fett or Kenobi, and doubt I'll ever watch any new Star Wars content again, unless it's a Rifftrax version.
Not gonna lie, I am very disappointed that they brought back Grogu, I wanted to see Mando go on cool missions without the cute babysitting shenanigans. Plus, going off with Luke was a good exit for the little guy.
no
No, of course not. Bad Badge is also slowly introducing that cloning garbage to justify fricking snoke. Frick em.
>the show about clones is introducing clones
moron
>can clone millions of pacific islanders
>somehow can't clone a white man's hand
really makes you think
I'm not interested in giving Disney any views or positive feedback.
What's the theme of these series? Like what is the point, beyond attempting to make loads of cash?

*theme
The first film is about realising your ambitions. This theme is encapsulated in the scene where farmboy Luke gazes at the twin suns.
have a nice day mouse shill

Yes because they are not canon and are spin offs, just like how Clone Wars are Rebels are not canon.
Clone Wars or The Clone Wars?
Both. Also 2D > 3D

They should have retconned the sequel trilogy out of existence and had Luke actually train new Jedi but we can't have that.
Kylo didn't actually kill every student, only one classroom of kids and then the government bulldozed the Jedi Academy
Reminder all nu wars is homosexual shit
Kiss my ass. It didn't have to be for gays.

Based, keep making manchildren seethe.
No tbdesu.
Only season 1 was good. And I kind of wish it wasn't because I'm really sick of this dragging out.
New thing please.
Sure why not.
>starting
Mandalorian was created to connect episodes 6 and 7.
I enjoyed Season 1 more than I thought I would, but couldn't make it through all of Season 2. Didn't even bother with Boba Fett or Kenobi, and doubt I'll ever watch any new Star Wars content again, unless it's a Rifftrax version.
Mando TV will always have a place in my heart.
Reminder all nu wars is homosexual shit
>he spams this even outside of the general
Surprised you haven't killed yourself yet
To be brutally honest the first 3 episodes were the only good ones
As they add in more characters the show will just get worse and worse until it's just as bad as the rest of yidsney shit
The krayt dragon episode was the best of the show and it wasn't until season 2.
Ok, enjoy being wrong
I wish Ahsoka would change the timelines or something so part of the fan base can act like prequels never existed.
Mando is shit. All Star Wars TV is shit
Reminder all nu wars is homosexual shit
Where are they starting to connect with it?
Planet Tython was invented by former EU, same with Luke creating a school.
I hope they will ignore everything from the sequels.
