that ending was incredible not only hopeful and positive in spite of the reality of the show but also tied everything together as you should expect from a well written mecha anime.
Discuss.. if you liked or hated the series.

I thought it was thoroughly okay, especially considering how dumb Soma's hair is. It was nice to hear Kira's VA capable of playing a character that had some, well, character to him. Plot was decent but a lot more cohesive than I expected, for the most part. Kind of disappointed redhead goatee guy wasn't actually a demon and I guess was just good at sneaking off really quickly and that that one pilot just died off screen before the epilogue ep. Also, the ED's catchy as hell.
>Kira's VA
that was him? I guess having a coherent plot is enough to change my opinion about someone's talent.
>Died off-screen
She had cancer and it was very obvious she had little time left
I love the ED
So which youtuber talked about AS?
I don't think it's that.
Though I've noticed more people talking about the show.
There was a thread for obscure mecha anime a few weeks ago where it was brought up too.
i haven't watched it yet but this promo art has been getting passed around the threads
the mecha design here looks intriguing and cool
The fantasy paperback cover font is an odd choice.
think it's supposed to be in-line with the macbeth quote
Storybook was one of the most popular fonts for fantasy products for decades, that's for for sure.
It's such a good image though and we will never get this level of goodness again
>we
Go back.
?
cool show i remember really liking it watching it a few years ago
for me it's one of those anime that felt boring when you're in the middle of watching it, but in retrospect it might have one of the best ending i've ever seen in mecha anime and all the boring bits were just a slow buildup leading to that.
granted my mileage of watching mecha anime isn't that much, but for me AS is still really good on its own.
although i'm still not sure why Soma was in jail at the start of the last episode. i feel it's kinda sad that he was gone for years before He and Harriet finally reunited again
Maybe stop speedwatching.
Actions have consequences, Ryu falsified his entire identity and was a fricking spy.
plus he was a really bad influence on Hatty, she waited for him a few years and Ryu started healing and searching for help in the meantime.
not so sure about their relationship though (are they lovers? friends?)
You have shit taste anon.. watch the rebuilds and evangelion they will be more of your liking.
A spy for the red haired guy right?
yes and the red haired guy worked with others to bring the goverment down.
all the information was necessary for this to happen.
The show is boring as watching shit dry. I've watched it 3 times and I still don't remember shit about it. The first time I watched it drunk and was still bored as frick so I gave it a second chance a few years later and watched it while I was high as frick and I still managed to be bored as frick. I just rewatched it for a 3rd time stone cold sober 2 weeks ago (10 years after the 2nd rewatch) and said to myself "hey, bro. maybe you were just too high and/or drunk to understand the high iq themes and nuances of the show. I mean all these anons say it was good and there's no way so many anons could ever be wrong..."
You fricking anons are a bunch of shit eating liars! I can't even remember what the story was about and it has barely been 2 weeks! Why do you homosexuals keep on lying to me?!
watch garzey's wing
Hey pal its /m/ not a scatophile baord stop recommanding people shit to eat ,its not healthy
My only issue with the show is that it should have had at least another three or four alien designs, considering Frank was made out of salvaged pieces. Other than that, it's a solid anime I enjoyed a couple of years ago.
It was nice that the Mechs could still be remade with human made tech in the end
