Last night, I was practicing my drawing, so I decided to try Babs Bunny. This was the result. I know it needs improvement, but the important thing is that I did it, not a machine or a software.
Art is a form of human expression, it's not something you can mass produce like a tool or a machine. As you practice, you improve, and become better, every day of your life.
Do it for yourself. You will make it.
I wrote
>What is art about? Art is about
and then let AI generate the rest.
Shut up.
It would be a passable definition from a 3rd grader... but it reads like regurgitation. The thoughts do not flow from one to another.
Art is about being horny
How much?
The principal usage of AI will be scams
bump
Honestly I want to learn art and ai art improving hasn’t made me want to learn it any less, if anything it’s made me even more motivated to see what crazy stuff I can make
Art is honestly a profoundly human thing. Even cavemen made art. Children make art. The idea that human beings will stop making art if a machine can do it better is silly.
when AI is eventually good enough to output art on a professional level there will be no reason to hire artists anymore and drawing will just be seen as a hobby
Once AI gets smart enough to draw Mickey Mouse they'll gimp it with copyright bullshit until it's pretty much incapable of drawing fanart of western franchises, I wouldnt worry too much about it becoming ubiquitous.
Of course there'll be open source and free models and datasets but we're talkibg about people who think this stuff is actual magic, I doubt they'll all suddenly have the patience to install Linux distros and figure out the three commands it takes to have them running
ai will eventually be able to emulate your current style (if it has enough to go off of as a base model) but it cant predict what that style will develop into as you naturally grow and change as an artist, it can emulate the style of Skrillex's last album but not his next, it's more useful as a replicator than a replacer of artistic growth and process, most use of it now is to emulate the style of famous artists.
Ai art is only becoming popular because artists over charge their prices plus the art community is extremely toxic
This
Artists are overrated dogshit nowadays
>art community is toxic
Are you sure it's the art community and not just some fandoms?
tldr: art is a way for narcissists to feel dep
Correct.
true but don't feel the need to argue with tech bros and pajeets
they're not people
