I feel like this plot have worked in theory, had it happened at the very beginning of the show, and Arthur was trying to get back at her (or another student, I don't think Sue Ellen was in the Show yet) for pulling a embarrassing, yet harmless prank on him (even though she meant no real harm, it was just a light spirted joke, but to him, it's something touched a sore spot) or something and taking too far, instead of unjustly provoking her.

Man I sure do LOVE doing quick searches for characters from a TV show to find images to post on Cinemaphile, have ALL the results be from fandom pages, and have to jump through hoops to get past webp versions images.
This shit is annoying as frick, I tell you what. Any easy way past it? Using Waterfox, I always have to view the page info and save it that way to generate the proper jpg or png. Dunno why it defaults to webp through normal saving.
Anyway, this show had alot of decently cute designs.
We need to do something about that soon. Google is pushing manifest v3 since their chrome market share dominates and if we don't prepare, they'll make it a "our way or highway" situation for the internet despite the fact that the main philosophy of the internet is (was?) open and easy connectedness. I don't want a conversion of the webp, I want the original unfricked file, which I can do with Firefox/Waterfox, its just I have to load the image URL in a separate tab, go to Tools, Page Info, go to Media, and then find the image listed there, where there is a save button and I click, and only then it saves it as the proper original file. Imagine what a pain that is if I am on a Wiki with alot of screenshots and stuff.
It really grinds me gears because Fandom pages sucked all the content like images from personal fansites, those fansites died, left only the Wikis, and for years the images were fine, until they pulled this webp stuff a few years ago.

I also LOVE how Google can never actually land on the image itself when hitting on a Twitter result so I just get the thumbnail, which forces me to visit Twitter. And sometimes even then, its a pain in the butt to find the image.
It used to be when I reserved image searched, I could click on the thumbnails themselves and get to the image URL only. Now I have to visit the site itself.
I also dislike the "vagueness" of the results and the extra clicks it takes to find source, which is what it did right away originally. How can the biggest search engine suck so bad now? It used to be great, it was one of the first search engines to offer image searching back in the day. I also dislike how when image searching, all the results are shoved to the right side and I have the scroll bar for it right next to the browser bar of my browser. Remember when that shit opened in the middle? And sometimes when I want to right click and open results in a new tab, it just opens the thumbnail of the image, not the actual link to the next set of results.

I keep meaning to rewatch arthur. Even as a dumb poor kid I could tell it was leagues better in quality than pretty much all of the pbs cartoons to come after it, really only stuff like Between the Lions, Cyberchase, and Wordgirl (last really good pbs cartoon) came up to its quality.
The flash seasons were so fricking bad. I'm not sure why PBS Kids would let the animation quality of their flagship show drop lower than any other on the channel.

Man I sure do LOVE doing quick searches for characters from a TV show to find images to post on Cinemaphile, have ALL the results be from fandom pages, and have to jump through hoops to get past webp versions images.
This shit is annoying as frick, I tell you what. Any easy way past it? Using Waterfox, I always have to view the page info and save it that way to generate the proper jpg or png. Dunno why it defaults to webp through normal saving.
Anyway, this show had alot of decently cute designs.
We need to do something about that soon. Google is pushing manifest v3 since their chrome market share dominates and if we don't prepare, they'll make it a "our way or highway" situation for the internet despite the fact that the main philosophy of the internet is (was?) open and easy connectedness. Only thing I can think of is to use an extension that converts webp to other formats like png or jpg before you download it.
I don't want a conversion of the webp, I want the original unfricked file, which I can do with Firefox/Waterfox, its just I have to load the image URL in a separate tab, go to Tools, Page Info, go to Media, and then find the image listed there, where there is a save button and I click, and only then it saves it as the proper original file. Imagine what a pain that is if I am on a Wiki with alot of screenshots and stuff.
It really grinds me gears because Fandom pages sucked all the content like images from personal fansites, those fansites died, left only the Wikis, and for years the images were fine, until they pulled this webp stuff a few years ago.

I also LOVE how Google can never actually land on the image itself when hitting on a Twitter result so I just get the thumbnail, which forces me to visit Twitter. And sometimes even then, its a pain in the butt to find the image.

It used to be when I reserved image searched, I could click on the thumbnails themselves and get to the image URL only. Now I have to visit the site itself.
I also dislike the "vagueness" of the results and the extra clicks it takes to find source, which is what it did right away originally. How can the biggest search engine suck so bad now? It used to be great, it was one of the first search engines to offer image searching back in the day. I also dislike how when image searching, all the results are shoved to the right side and I have the scroll bar for it right next to the browser bar of my browser. Remember when that shit opened in the middle? And sometimes when I want to right click and open results in a new tab, it just opens the thumbnail of the image, not the actual link to the next set of results.

Pintrest cancer is a well known problem. Made worse by the fact they have several domains worldwide now, when it only used to be a North American thing.
What also sucks now? Stock photo image cancer. Search something generic, its all stock photos. You don't get real results from real websites anymore.

Had no clue this episode fell under controversy, so I rewatched it today and MAN I forgot how much I love Arthur. The jokes are funny, the storytelling is so well crafted (specifically in the Ocean Zone segment that follows), and the music is so, so great. It really has aged amazingly well.
