I’m so sick of you idiots thinking this was anything but a “frick you”. The entire point was to yell at you and say “Give up comics and let us tell terrible, gay as frick comics in peace. Go the frick outside!”

How can anyone think that’s not only acceptable but laudable?

For me before the 2016 rebirth

        New 52 was terrible though.

          >terrible
but still that was my first comic run after i heard its gonna be brand new universe, 11 years old me didnt have to go through massive lore baggage and thats the reason i drop DC altogether during rebirth convoluted AF imo fusing post crisis dc universe with new52 dc universe

You didn’t buy any of it so why should they have continued making it?

              >UHH you need to support the industry by buying dogshit comic prease understand dc small indie company

He said he liked the new 52 so obviously he doesn’t think they’re dogshit moron.

Nah, it had some good comics. The fact that they didn't commit to a reboot was a mistake. Once Rebirth rolled around they became allergic to printing good comics, or in other words they became Marvel-lite.

moron take. They make Alt U and elseworld (before they stopped) for that. There is no reason for a full reboot just so people who don’t even read floppies can feel like they’re reading “the real thing” rather than alternate takes.

                >There is no reason for a full reboot

There is no reason to keep any of the shit they have either. NU52 continuity has no value whatsoever, it's all fake. The real continuity began with CoiE and died with Flashpoint. Nothing outside that period counts as ever having existed.

You seem to be incapable of reading. I never defended the new 52. I said they shouldn’t have done it. Anon said they needed to commit further. I said that was a moronic take.

moron take. Nobody wants to read decades worth of comics before they can reach current day events and out of continuity stuff never sold as well and if you overuse them and the multiverse (like the big 2 have been for the past several years) it leads to apathy, people just don't care anymore. There's so much stupid crap in capeshit and the passage of time is done so poorly that a reboot every 30 years isn't a bad idea considering how convoluted things tend to become.

                >Nobody wants to read decades worth of comics before they can reach current day events
This was never necessary even before marvel and DC renumbered.
                >out of continuity stuff never sold as well
That’s just remarkably untrue. All of their top trades are out of continuity because casuals read trades.

There is no reason to reboot the ongoings just to make ongoings casuals won’t buy until they get collected in paperback. They can have out of continuity trades for casuals and let the ongoings go back to being for those who want to buy them bi-weekly/monthly (which they haven’t done in years)

because DC sucks major dick nowadays, and their sales have plummeted ever since

The two gave nothing to do with each other, homosexual. John’s telling you snidely to frick off and touch grass isn’t laudable no matter the situation of the company.

It ended with COIE. Most of their major problems with storytelling originated there.

They were done with The Multiversity in 2015.

DC barely had any great comics before that. It was after Crisis that we saw an influx of masterpieces.
