She went on another trip to Africa. She didn't want to tell Lee Jong-su because she thought he was a beta orbiter. She also asked Ben to watch her cat while she was gone, and also asked him not to tell Lee Jong-su where she went.
Reminder that the second half of this movie is a story written by the main character. He wanted to release his frustrations by fantasizing about killing Ben. He was an actual autismo who couldn’t deal with the only person that ever gave him attention being taken away. There is zero evidence that Ben killed her. He went to her apartment, jacked off and started writing his revenge story.
I hate these tryhard ambiguous pretentious pile of shit of shit movies. I liked the tone and story enough to finish but you’re the biggest midwit if you believe it’s kino of the decade
It's great because of how it balances that ambiguousness so well. It's masterfully done. You can't say one way or the other what the answer is and no one has done. But keep crying
This scene really captures that feeling of being awkward and uncomfortable around people you don't know. It's also sad how the rich yuppies think Hae-mi is embarrassing but she doesn't even notice. Brings back some bad memories
This scene nails the demeanor of rich over-educated people that travel a shit ton on expensive getaways. I've been around quite a few, and it does get this weird. I think it's over-saturation to the world alongside overvaluing intelligence and the idea of being "cultured" that makes their heads go funny.
I always found that moment at the end funny, where Yoo Ah-in timidly looks over at Steven Yeung to see him yawning, then doing a "Well, these people sure are annoying, huh?" face.
I liked it first when it came out and no one talked about it
now that its popular on here and reddit I don't like it anymore
Not number one, but top 5 for sure
snake kills dumbledood
what happened to the girl

>It was all a le dream
Cope
Pretentious trash
based. good pick.
Movie is an allegory for how modern women get confused by how modern men are either smart morons or mentally abusive psychos
Makes sense. Men have been completely unhinged since they lost their purpose in society.
My favorites of the 2010's
>Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall Past Lives
>The Mule
>Drive
>Inside Llewyn Davis
Burning was still a pretty good movie, but I definitely wouldn't say the best. Felt a little lackluster despite the atmosphere.
Yeah this movie was incredible, the atmosphere was otherworldly
so strange how these people are legitimately angered when they see any film that shows a male in distress
They see themselves in the main character and it hurts their fee fees, so they gotta talk shit
My exact same experience, but I only got through the first 15 minutes at 2x speed and turned it right off what a fricking shit film.
That's not the Handmaiden though.
Also Oasis and Secret Sunshine are both better than this imho.
Reddittroon should stick with capeshit
and as far as i'm concerned, you should still be there
I didnt get it but I recommended it to people, I hope they dont ask me about it
who was burning?
I agree
Still makes most sense she ran off due to debt.
What makes the most sense for me is that she suicided but that theory also makes a lot of sense.

Yes I agree, all movies should just be Marvel flicks, truly you are a modern day Plato, sir
It always goes back to marvel with you midwits. That’s like your only ammo when defending your shitty films

>ambiguousness
Fricking crying lmao
I knew midwits love this kinda shit
so what happened to the prostitute
the movie has no definitive answers for anything because it's trying to imply that modern society also has no answers or meaning
facebook tier bait
Do korean men really have such intense feelings/simp society and/or nature? Pic related is feet kino.
korean movies always have a ton of feet
