>goober doesn't know how torrents work (at least with qbit)
You need to bump your upload speed a smidge to make sure it can keep your download speed up because of the way peer-to-peer works. He is a goober too tho. I've probably had 300gb upload across multiple computers over multiple years and have a cumulative 4 petabytes or something.
They do and have been for the 20+ years I've been here. Even the 3rd world has decent internet speeds though so it's surprising that there are still Usenet holdouts when literally everyone can fake their ratio or use a VPN to avoid letters from their ISP. No viable reason to use Usenet over torrents in this day and age, and there was hardly ever one to begin with.
Memory leaks happen and the only way to get rid of it is to restart your computer. I feel like it has gotten worse with windows 10. I used to be able to leave my computer on for a month on windows 8 but with 10, I have to restart every week at minimum
i migrated from qb to dp and thought i'd never look back, but like a week later db bought qp and i was PISSED - until they bundled bq with pd, meaning i could apply my remaining bd subscription to pq without bp or dq screwing my pd OR bq
It should get the message that I'm not updating. Transmission does the same but the newer transmission makes my computer randomly crash. Went back to the old one and keep closing the update reminders.
>new popular stuff is saturated with seeders >old/obscure stuff has one guy with an always on sneedbox that can easily handle the one download per week on its own
Should I even bother seeding anything?
>Should I even bother seeding anything? >old/obscure stuff has one guy with an always on sneedbox
He's paying for the seedbox. He's paying to deliver it for free. You should chip in even if only for someone else that'll do the same shit tries to download it and it turns out the guy isn't uploading it anymore. You could afford one download a week. Granted most of the old/obscure is still available behind private trackers that haven't had a fricking registration period in 9 years because they've all got their heads up their ass, BUT there will always be some guy that'll take it public eventually.
Why can't it just torrent its own updates?
accurate
I just did this ten seconds ago.
>doesn't update
you're an idiot
4 tb downloaded 200gb uploaded not my problem
your upload should be 0 sweetie

kinos for this feel?
I'm a good boy, I have a 0.8 all time share ratio 🙂
sneed
>torrents
zoomies can't into usenet
Literal boomers still think paying for piracy was ever a viable option
Do usenet ojisans really pay...?

>paying to download low bitrate compressed to 4gb christopher nolan movies
unreal
that's a 44gb bluray remux you mouth breather
explain why I should use it over torrents
check that total download limit
>clicks X
wow what a gargantuan price to pay to download whatever movie you want for free
yeah, people on Cinemaphile make threads for that.
>ever closing it
>ever restarting your computer or turning it off
you shouldnt leave it on like that, it creates mustard gas.
you should reboot your PC at least once per week, it's good for it.

my pc is loud and annoys me when I go to sleep
>he needs silence
Sleep with your window fully open, listen to the crickets, the night birds, the cats fight, your neighbors argue.
>he thinks pajeet code doesn't have memory leaks
>implying qBittorrent is pajeet code
Frick you bloody
What are they even updating?
Anyways, still better than Utorrent.
i migrated from qb to dp and thought i'd never look back, but like a week later db bought qp and i was PISSED - until they bundled bq with pd, meaning i could apply my remaining bd subscription to pq without bp or dq screwing my pd OR bq
Did you pb the qb bt or pt the bb qb?
he better figure it out pdq
I used to use deluge but it just stopped downloading shit for some reason and I'm too moronic to figure it out
but yeah if I want an update I'll download it
>uTorrent asks you to upload to a new version
>do it
>it's now full of ads and malware
And that's why I use qb with automatic updates off.
It should get the message that I'm not updating. Transmission does the same but the newer transmission makes my computer randomly crash. Went back to the old one and keep closing the update reminders.
It's funny how people are literally too dumb to uncheck a setting in options and instead do something a million times and get angry about it.
Welcome to Cinemaphile
>he doesn't use the superior no nonsense torrent client

Actually true.

It could be worse. On Debian the latest version is from years ago and has critical flaws.
Use utorrent 2.2.1. You don't need anything else
I don't use any fancy features of torrent programs, so I've just been using Tixati for the past like 10 years
