What about quirky people eat at a dairy queen that’s undergoing its first major renovations since the 70s, so that there’s a Hispanic construction worker looking at blueprints in the background and Jason Schwartzman says “Hector, estaba tiempo por favor. En desplasa ustedes.” And hector go “talk to bossu” and the boss is standing in the unrenovated half of the Dairy Queen and it’s Zoolander!
Why is the RT for this one and his last so mid? This guy is a great American auteur who routinely makes classics. The French Dispatch is a thousand times better than any other film the year it came out and critics said, meh. I don't get it. Is like the Lebron effect where they're just tired of how good he is? They just take it for granted? I don't know, but it's embarassing.
Spider Man: Slop Shit Titty Frick will reliably be 96% but an auteur's carefully crafted masterpiece is 70%. Ok
I a lot of people didn't realize french dispatch was an anthology going into it and it's hard to be 75 minutes in the theater when a fourth story starts from the beginning
Definitely. It's one of his best, doesn't have too much of his more indulgent style he developed later and it's probably Owen Wilson's best performance.
I'm tired of his suburban schtick
hes the arcade fire of film
>suburban schtick
Royal tenebaums is all in New York city?
I mean it feels like a suburban kid writes every film
Ah gotcha
I raise.
Arcade fire is good though
>hipsterslop is good though
Why's is bad? Because is popular?
If only Win Butler kept his dick in his pants
Is it as good as the grand Budapest hotel?
No
He delivers narcissistic vanity projects disguised as entertainment. I don't want to watch quirky people eat at dairy queen.

Can't stand the color. Literal eyesore
Jeffery wright is a good actor though
It's only 1 hour 44 minutes.

He's been doing the same Weslop a lot longer than capeshit has existed.
What super hero movie could he pull off?
I don't trust critics for Jack Shit anymore. People are no longer capable of judging beauty, their minds and hearts are too darkened by sin
Very true
He is just not that good of a writer or storyteller. I like his first three movies, they had a lot of soul and self-deprecation. Nothing after.
If licorice pizza is what he typically makes then he's overrated as hell. Just slop pretending to be artistic. Pathetic.
Licorice pizza sucked though
>licorice pizza
>Wes Anderson
At least try to be interested in the medium you post about all day and night
Wes Anderson sucked since he made Donnie Darko
wes anderson tim burtoned himself before tim burton
Wes Anderson is an ovverated hack. Interesting how cinema autists seem to give his pretentious bullshit a pass all the time. OMGEH LE PASTEL COLOURS
>ovverated
But he's not that popular and his movies get meh reviews
His favorite movie list was good though
How's Scarlett nude scene?
Full frontal but not super sexy or anything. She just drops a towel on purpose
Will watch.
I thought it was a body double until googling later
I enjoy Wes' movies a lot and that's a nice cherry on the top
Guys you can see scarlet Johansson naked in PG-13
>Focus Features successfully appealed the decision, and the film was re-rated PG-13 "for brief graphic nudity, smoking, and some suggestive material".
Non-sexual nudity is normal
I like the aesthethics of this flick
>t. Redditor
Their brother dressing like a dad was intentional, wasn't it
Comfy/10
Good flick to take your gf to
Is bottle rocket worth watching?
I think so, yeah. Might be my favorite of his but I am no great fan of his, especially not his later work which I find to be both gay and moronic.
>both gay and moronic
I don't really value the opinions of morons. Opinion discarded
enjoy your tweeshit homosexual
>tweeshit
Don't know what that means
Definitely. It's one of his best, doesn't have too much of his more indulgent style he developed later and it's probably Owen Wilson's best performance.
