It took a longgggg time for Harley to become popular despite multiple appearances. Livewire barely shows up.

    >Attempt to replicate Harley Quinn's success
She was a fan favorite but she wasn't that super big still when Superman TAS was made.
I'd argue she wasn't the giant hit she is now until the first Arkham game.

to replicate Harley Quinn's success by making one wacky, colorful supervillainess who's a physical threat to Superman and another who's slavishly devoted to the main villain

do you have any proof that livewire was an attempt to replicate harley quinn's success?

Pretty sure LW is just paul and timm making more hot evil women because they like making hot evil women

    >replicate her successes
How exactly she’s just a random villian

She’s crazy and doesn’t mind showing off though. For some seems kind of hotter cause her outfits more revealing at least in that style

I just love how even in the revealing suit Bruce still had her wear gloves, it’s so cute

She actually became canon to the comics and she shows up on other DC animated shows like Young Justice, DC Superhero Girls, Harley Quinn and that gay adventures with Superman one, I'd say she catched on a lot, unlike the male villain they created "Luminus" and that sucks because he had a cool design and his Mysterio like tech was cool

They should add Luminus to the comics if Dr. Light is going to forever be stuck with the rape thing.

        >Keeps making this thread
Wouldn't it be easier just to say "Livewire thread" at this point?

Is he? Last I recall of Dr. Light was Nu52 where they made him not only a good guy but he was married to the Female Dr. Light too.

Mercy is boring, and Lex doubly so

It's funny to imagine that Mercy's loyalty comes from a fanatical devotion to professionalism rather than actual deep affiliation with Luthor.

Livewire is a canon Superman villain that isn't forgotten. That's a win. She doesn't need to be pushed like Harley
