Now she’ll probably treat her more like a pathology at worst or have an arch that reflects more what happened to the mom or an abuse PSA. There may likely be less edge and angst as well.

What I've found is that after a couple of months you start to see really solid improvements, I've gone from barely able to draw a hand to rough but very clear full body pictures and detailed faces in that time. I always end up getting reset though because by around that point something like a move or a death in the family or a new job happens and I'm suddenly sidetracked for months. Just bad timing. I'm sure you could improve too if your life was less hectic compared to how mine tends to go. Again I'm getting really tempted from this thread to try again but knowing my luck by that 2 to 3 month mark I'd be dragged away by something, it feels almost comical how consistent the timing's been.

I always found the process very meditative and usually just put on some music to listen to while I drew for a few hours a day. May even post updates if these threads become regular again (or if they're irregular I might post updates in several months). I definitely have a couple of sketches buried in a box somewhere, I only got to the point where I felt comfortable drawing her a couple of times.

Really couldn't find them right now sadly, I have a lot of boxes and I'm pretty sure my art ones from when I'd sketch stuff are in storage. Only recently got a computer that could open a non-MS Paint drawing program, for some reason my previous ones would never even open Krita or Photoshop or anything like that. Practiced with them a few times in the last week and that's part of why I'm interested in trying to hop back on the art train, even within just those few times I was starting to see improvement. I'll definitely post some stuff once I get confident enough with the tools and my own abilities start to get better, that won't be in time for this thread sadly. I absolutely sketched this pose as practice at one point though, if you're curious what I was drawing and about where my abilities were getting after a few months.

Yeah it used to be one if the most talked-about webcomics and many years ago the Cinemaphile threads were extremely active. The people posting here now are just the people that have held onto it enough to still have an interest after so much time. I personally just love the art and how great the character designs are.
To be honest I'd rather have a thread like this, just a handful of people actually discussing something they enjoy and are excited to see more of, than the vast majority of threads in the catalog or even most current webcomic thread.

I never said cheap more like generic if I had to think of it myself. Remember it's a planet where you got money via school points and parents finances. Ava mentions this on the ship when they are eating snacks that she hasn't had those types in years/ever. Implying she lives off tight funds, so she probably does just get normal rations and titans planets are fairly corpotized so it would erase any uniqueness unless you are rich.
I wouldn't call that well dressed mostly because that's a fairly classic good girl out fit, and the least they'd do is clothe her lol. Her clothes feel like something you'd find at a good will or a boarding school would give a student to wear. But hey now we know she also at least smells of flowers and maybe ice cream.

I don't think that Michelle is ever going to abandon the webcomic unless she's physically incapable of continuing it. Yeah i used to read it but I forgot lowkey most webcomics got lost to me in the wake of manwha, webtoons and indie comics. To little updates some are 10 plus years old and still on their first two arcs. It's just a failing format sadly.

I think these threads could foster a healthy dose of autism, derived from a real passion. The few people who come here seem to be old fans that really miss it. Genuine lovers of the characters, story, etc. If these threads could be even somewhat consistent I have hope things could flourish
