Avatar 3 is obviously where Quaritch decides the pure warrior culture of the Na'vi is more suited to him than corporate suits that he hates anyway.
He joins some na'vi tribe, possibly challenging for leadership, then leads them as one faction along side Jake's sea tribe against the general we saw about 5 seconds of who's clearly the uncaring bureaucratic military commander who'll order the genocide of the Na'vi in Avatar 3 or later.

that would be gay and very indicative that cameron is still big mad over computer nerds making up quaritch quotes about humans being cool 15 years ago

I think it's kind of a natural progression. The dude clearly lives for war, he clearly hates the execs as much as the scientists, he just happens to be on their side more.
Now he's a recombinant, what's Earth got to offer him?

He liked Pandora before he was able to breath its air.

This. I have never met someone I'd call an Avatar fan. I know tons of people who enjoyed the movies. But nobody collects Avatar merchandise, wears Avatar clothes and accessories, or discusses Avatar worldbuilding. Not once in my life have I heard the phrase "This reminds me of that thing in Avatar where..." and I see people bring up Star Wars and LotR out of the blue every day.

Nobody would dedicate years a decade or their life to doing that, why are avatarhaters like this? Everything you say to them is this wild justification, they cannot face the fact that Avatar is the highest grossing film of all time and has a fambase

I can accept that it appeals to hairy dads who wanted to see cool graphics in a theater once, and that every other ticket was sold to children and their parents who wanted to see the epic blue people movie.
Regular people don't actually enjoy it as a good movie.

People who call it some epic cultural moment just for having a big box office are legit double digit IQ.
The only cultural relevance it had other than people memeing about the inflated box office numbers was starting the short-lived 3D fad infesting every single new release.

I still thought it was awful and I was 10. If it failed to appeal even to me when it's obviously meant to be kidslop, then it sucked.

Ok, but make them all 90 mins long from now on. New audiences won't bother to catch up if every movie is fricking 4 hours long.
