USM was meant to be in the same continuity as Avengers Assemble, Hulk: Agents of Smash and the GotG TV show, although there were a whole bunch of contradictions.
This is the problem the show has a lot of classic and obscure characters but the presentation is so dull that its kind of a waste. Is trying to be more like the movies.
I agree but Cinemaphile considers this and Spectacular Spider-Man as sacred cows. I never understood the hype, they were just okay. However their obnoxious fanbase has turned me to hate them.
I just remember when the Spectacular fans became so schizo one of them created a fake Jeph Loeb Facebook page for other Spectards to vent their death threats at, after Ultimate began airing a decade ago.

>I think it would be remembered more fondly.
I don't. The show is bland, the plots are weak, the animation is mediocre, and the characters are generic. There's no meat to the show and Loeb's mentality in regards to cartoons was that they should as limited in scope and plot as possible. Replacing EMH (and Spectacular Spider-Man in USM's case) is just a deflection. The shows weren't good. The worst part is this entire era of shows all had the same flaws and they feel like they were just assembled on a factory line.
i doubt it. plenty of people didn't grow up with EMH. Where is the love for it? that whole era of marvel cartoons has been forgotten. i've tried to start threads and people just do not give a frick about it.
Yeah, LaMarr was Spectrum. Anthony Ruivivar (Beware's Batman) is Nighthawk. Jason Spisak (YJ's Wally) is Speed Demon.
And, while he was never Superman, Brian Bloom is both Ultraman and Hyperion...Which honestly is even funnier.
>thread is dying >thread is bumped >unique poster count did not go up >bait is posted
Yeah I'm thinking cringe, also which thread are you wanting to die so bad?
Agreed
I love how many different characters they showed off.
I liked how they used Dracula. I specifically remember how he didn't like being called "Count" because he considers himself the King of the vampires.
Dracula also appeared in USM which was neat.
Why does Dracula look like an Anime villain?
He's comic accurate. That's more or less how he looks in the comics. Or at least last I checked.
Not my Vlad
Dracula IS anime.

I just hate how every single scene looks. the colors are just so drab.
But the realism anon!

Why is Radioactive Man with the Russians?
Russian Cap
You just have to wait for the zoomers that grew up with it to start posting here.
I'm an older zoomer that was 16 when it came out.
You called??
This show introducing me to the Squadron Supreme and Thunderbolts changed my taste in comics for the better, I think.
EMH is highly overrated and seething fanboys transferred the blame onto AA, which is fine show and in some ways way better than EMH
Do you genuinely think this or are ya baiting? I'm curious. I like both so its not skin off my sack.

That shit got brushed under the rug HARD.
Now kiss gays

Spectacular Spider-Man looked like dog shit compared to EMH and USM though. Its Black cat design was neat but that's it.
That's like your opinion bro but it's wrong.
You're right it is my opinion, just as your post was your opinion.
USM has some of the most boring character designs I've ever seen.
Okay.
i doubt it. plenty of people didn't grow up with EMH. Where is the love for it? that whole era of marvel cartoons has been forgotten. i've tried to start threads and people just do not give a frick about it.
This thread was on page ten, you clearly just want to get another thread on page ten to archive. You don't give a shit either way.
If it didn't follow EMH it wouldn't be remembered at all. The Fantastic Four cartoon from the 2000s would be more remembered.
I liked how they got some voices from the DC versions for the Squadron Supreme.
oh?
Yeah, LaMarr was Spectrum. Anthony Ruivivar (Beware's Batman) is Nighthawk. Jason Spisak (YJ's Wally) is Speed Demon.

Nice.
it's so shit looking.
I was too lazy to get a bigger picture.
It still looks like shit. A lot of really ugly still frames and choppy animation.
It's just got boring designs and a dull pallet all around
It looks dreadful.
>It's just got boring designs and a dull pallet all around
A dull art direction to match the dull writing.
>It looks dreadful.
That's your opinion.
Looks great, way better than that Primal slop Cinemaphile shilled for.
It sucks that they never try to push new(er) members for the Squadron except for the big 5
Namor would be so essy
Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, I don't know who this guy is supposed to be the copy of, The Flash?
Seriously?
Green Lantern up in the right corner
>we now have zoomers who have unironic nostalgia for shitty post-Disney buyout slop
Oh joy. Explains why the board gets dumber every year, I guess.
Time marches on. Entropy draws ever closer.
Why do you feel like your opinion is the only one that matters? Sun doesn't shine out of your ass.
Zoomie mad, lmao
>no argument
Concession accepted. Not that you would even have one to begin with its simply
>I did not like X
>therefore nobody liked X
>n-n-no stop insulting my shallow idiotic didney slop
Lmao, you can stop seething now, you being this mad is just embarrassing.
Thanks for the bumps 🙂
>crying wojack with a smug wojack mask.png
I really liked the Vampire Natasha episode, Especially her running face first into a see through glass door.
That shit was funny.
My opinion is the only one that matters. If someone disagrees with me, then they aren't allowed to exist

EMH getting cancelled was a huge disaster. If nothing else, it had the best version of Carol Danvers.
Honestly it seems every animated Carol mogs MCU Carol.. and present comic Carol I guess.
