I hope they do a team up this Phase. Everybody feels kinda disconnected.
This, seriously. The lack of a big team-up to unite the newer and older heroes against another big threat is part of the list of reasons why there has been less fanfare for the MCU lately, I feel.
Unlikely in Phase 4, but definitely happening in Phase 5.

Yeah, this cute little dinner show is probably the closest we get to seeing how the Avengers operates now. But for some reason I'm ok with that.

That's partly because they are having to establish new set of heroes and connections. Phase 2 and 3 had it easier because the snowball had already started, so they could more seamlessly add heroes and continue the overarching narrative. But the Avengers introduced in Phase 1 are all killed off or retired now, and the ones introduced in phase 2 and 3 were never given a moment to fraternize with each other on-screen.
You gotta remember that it took the MCU about 4 years to build up towards the first Avengers film. They are basically needing to do the groundwork all over again.

In a medium where the characters visibly age because they use real people, it's really unrealistic to ever think they'd ever bother with Young Avengers in the MCU. Hell, Kate Bishop is already a grownup in the Hawkeye show. Better to just have them inducted into the normal Avengers right off since the younger actors will already be adults in less than two or three movies. Young Avengers would just be too short lived to even bother.
They'll get 'Trainee status' regardless of age.

I expect we're gonna see these characters as part of a Young Avengers team in the multiverse during Phase 4 though.
I know they will use the Younh Avengers, they'll just call them the Next Avengers or the New Avengers.
