    >frick no one likes all those diverse female characters we wasted all of phase 4 trying to establish, quick just bring in the old characters people like!

i bet Feige regrets ever producing Ironheart, Echo, Ms. Marvel and others instead of focusing on the X-Men/Fantastic Four

I bet he regrets not simply recasting these characters like he said he would rather than letting these uninspired legacy characters take over

one reason i'm hopeful for the possible reboot post-Secret Wars is that there's a chance we will FINALLY have an unified Marvel Universe with no rights issues bullshit

        >Fantastic Four

why do people think anyone cares about them?

They are all of the MCU tropes rolled into one property

People only want to see the FF for Doom and the Kino relationship of Human Torch and Spider-man.

Even here, on a forum full of actual comic fans, 99% of the people hyped up and excited about the idea of inserting the FF and X-Men into the MCU just seem mainly concerned with getting more Doctor Doom and Magneto yet again. Actual fans of these comics can't think of anything new they'd rather see done for the first time in live action, they just want the same old things they've already had several times before.

Yeah, like, currently it's Sony and Fox doing all the cool shit fans actually want.

Fox is doing nothing since it no longer exists.

If he's got any sense, he regrets losing Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow, regrets turning Hulk and Thor into jokes, regrets turning Scarlet Witch into a villain, and what happened to Hawkeye. But why the hell would he think focusing on the X-Men or FF would be a smart move? They've already had their chance.

one reason i'm hopeful for the possible reboot post-Secret Wars is that there's a chance we will FINALLY have an unified Marvel Universe with no rights issues bullshit

No you won't. Sony still has the Spider-Man rights.

      >keep having to pull back old established characters and/or slap established IP names on new "diverse" versions of said characters because all the newer original stuff is complete dogshit without nostalgia backing it up

Ok, I'll only say this once.

Nobody gives a shit anymore. Feige fumbled Phase 4 so fricking hard that I couldn't be less hyped even it was a 1:1 adaptation of Secret Wars 2015, Doom included.

I mean, what's the next big movie? The Marvels? Who the frick is hype for that piece of shit? Does anybody even like Carol at all?

Carol's immensely popular, only Spider-Man eclipses her among the general public at this point.

      >Feige fumbled Phase 4
i thought the problem was that he handed it off to other execs and they shit the bed

A bit of that, and also a bit of Bob Chapek demanding endless spinoffs to keep Disney+ afloat.

Once upon an Endgame Feige wanted to comfortably settle into 3 movies and 1-2 shows per year.

There's also the fact that general audiences won't watch 30 movies and 10 TV shows to keep up with the current phase. If there was people struggling to catch up for Endgame, I doubt they'll care enough when the last releases are considered shit.

Yeah, like, currently it's Sony and Fox doing all the cool shit fans actually want.

Even if Sony is currently throwing shit at the wall with the villains movies, they handled Spider-man way better than Disney. Otherwise Watts trilogy wouldn't have ended in a nostalgia fest with previous Spider-men and villains.

    >Earth-616'
what's Feige's problem? Why does he insists on this bullshit? Doesn't he realize how stupidly autistic it is that he keeps pushing this Earth number when everyone else around him knows it's wrong?

True autism is refusing to understand that these are meant to be separate takes on the Marvel Multiverse.
