Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is reportedly going through a creative overhaul after Marvel fired Jeff Loveness, so here’s a compilation of information about his version that has leaked over the months.
>Confirmed characters: Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp, She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne.
>Rumored characters: Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Star-Lord, Namor, Loki, War Machine, Ironheart, Photon, Vision, the Eternals.
>Would feature conflicts between the old guard and the new generation, with Spider-Man, a young hero who fought alongside the originals, caught in the middle.
>Main villains would be Immortus, Rama-Tut and Centurion, the leaders of the Council of Kangs.
>Main plot would be about retrieving relics from the previous Multiverse war to use as weapons against Kang, including Ms. Marvel’s bangle and Shang-Chi’s rings.
>The Avengers would split into teams and visit parallel universes ruled by different Kangs, where they would encounter variants of themselves and their friends and enemies.
>Kang would kill either Hank or Janet.
Anyone who still watches anything from the MCU can frick right off.
Why?
>Why?
Because they're garbage movies that have no soul and just follow the same copy/paste theme as every single one before it. They're full of cheesy, unrealistic dialog and corny jokes that aren't funny unless you're 9 and "le good guys always win through the power of friendship and teamwork!" The plots are full of more holes that my dick after the last fight with syphilis, and everyone has plot armor that prevents even bloody noses. Peak homosexualry.
oh what do you need? An edgy Snyder movie where Superman dies because he's not Super enough?
>oh what do you need?
Movies made by competent directors who are fans of the source material. Raimi Spider-Man for example
Raimi's not a Spider-Man fan. He just did his job and is good at it.
>le edgy
Just kys right now gunnjeet
what do you watch?
I don't watch movies or tv
your opinion is shit
*context*
They said this for their captain marvel review in reference to all the movies leading up to captain marvel, which they didn’t like.
nobody cares mike.
There were tons of bad movies before that. Age of Ultron, Iron Man 2&3, and all of the Thor movies range from pretty meh to terrible.
Marvel managed to come back and continue to build hype after shit like Thor: The Dark World time and time again, but their luck has completely run out in the past couple of years.
that's not even The Avengers. You can't just feature every random Marvel person and call it The Avengers. The Avengers is a team with structure, an organization with members and leadership.
are you kidding me? Moon Knight? Namor? on the Avengers?
fricking stupid shit. Call these guys the Replacements or something
I love how they're still desperately trying to ride off the coattails of the first 3 phases. The ads for the Marvels movie has these lines in it...
>"Endgame was just the beginning"
>"An avenger returns"
>"A new team assembles"
in the MCU every superhero is an Avenger even if they've never even been to Earth before or met Captain America
>*random main character* will return...
Star Wars has been doing this now too lmao
Yeah because no one likes Yidsney shit. Nostalgia bait is the only thing keeping Star Wars on life support.
Namor and Moon Knight have both been members of the Avengers before.
The Avengers literally started as a comic with a roster of characters who weren't big time enough to star their own. Filling it with C-listers is what it's always done.
Shhhh, people don't read comics anymore. That's for old people.
Just visit Cinemaphile to see the sad state of comics. Most of the shit that happened to the recent movies were things that failed and continue to fail in the comics.
>Just visit Cinemaphile
>She-Hulk
>Shang-Chi
>Ms. Marvel
>Kate Bishop
>Moon Knight,
>Ironheart
>Photon
>the Eternals.
ME-ME-ME-MEGA FLOP
ENOUGH of the multiverse
Multiverse is the reason why anyone is still watching these Garbage films
I know I’m just one person and my opinion doesn’t matter. But I just don’t care about this anymore. Over a decade of saturation has milked all likability out of them. They’re not even being subtle about these just being cash grabs now. It’s funny isn’t it. Covid knocked out the first wave of in these movies. Now there’s a strike and no publicity for the current one so no one gives a shit. It just shows how it was all marketing and bullshit just to get people in seats for the next ‘event’
any show with Jonathan Majors is a failure.
Assuming you can top Infinity War/Endgame the very next outing is ludicrous. They should have gone with something smaller-scale for this saga, like the Dark Avengers or something.
They haven't even gotten to my homie Doom yet and I'm completely burnt out.
>Disney bought Fox just to make a bunch of shitty Kang movies
Kevin Feige must die
>The Avengers would split into teams and visit parallel universes ruled by different Kangs, where they would encounter variants of themselves and their friends and enemies.
rofl that esssentially the same plot as infinity war.
But it isn't.
>rofl that esssentially the same plot as infinity war
No infiity war is the one where Thanos came from space to break Vision's head open
you're thinking of Multiverse of the Madness
If they want this shit to actually sell they'll have to focus on Cap and Spidey, because everything with the "new" generation in it is a guaranteed flop. No matter the medium.
you know when they say cap they mean falcon right
I thought that guy was called Falcon. Is this another Laura situation, like how she was called X-23 but then became Wolverine?
Yeah but so poorly handled that it makes Laura's assumption of the Wolverine title look natural
Must be really damn bad then. I'll never forgive them for what they did to my girl.
Adoption
Adoption is more accurate but assumption still works. Laura took on the role of Wolverine.
They still make Marvel movies? Seriously?
>Confirmed characters: Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp, She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne
This will sell out movie
I see exactly one character in that lineup that will draw people to theaters, and that's Spider-man. Captain America (not Chris Evans), Black Panther (not Chadwick Boseman), and Captain Marvel (possibly not even Brie Larson, but even if it was, people only watched Captain Marvel cause it was tied in hard to Infinity War), added together don't equal half of Spider-man's current popularity, and three together are more than the rest x10.
How is Spiderman not canceled yet for not being gay with a ftm?
He'll get replaced by his Black person clone (not literally clone) eventually.
I like Falcon's introductory fight in Falcon and Winter Soldier. And he was pretty solid in the action. But Sam needs a stronger grounding than "You need to do better". Sam, they're duly ELECTED representatives. WE should be doing better. And if you really want to be Captain America, YOU should be leading the way.
>Captain Marvel
>Black Panther
>She-Hulk
>Shang-Chi
>Ms. Marvel
>Kate Bishop
>Janet Van Dyne
>Moon Knight
>Ironheart
>Photon
>the Eternals
>Main plot would be about retrieving relics from the previous Multiverse war to use as weapons against Kang, including Ms. Marvel’s bangle and Shang-Chi’s rings.
this doesn't sound that bad, and I know what homosexuals here think about capeshit, but in the real world, most people just don't care about the new characters, they first need to address that
In the real world, people stopped caring about capeshit after Infinity War or whatever the last Avengers movie was called.
>>The Avengers would split into teams and visit parallel universes ruled by different Kangs, where they would encounter variants of themselves and their friends and enemies.
this would be really cool.
>Would feature conflicts between the old guard and the new generation, with Spider-Man, a young hero who fought alongside the originals, caught in the middle.
I'm cringing just thinking about this idea. What were they thinking?
No one likes these new characters. No one! Seriously, I see people still defending Marvelslop like their lives depend on it, but even the most hardcore of the hardcore will agree that these characters are shockingly bad, and that it's the principal reason people aren't showing up anymore.
If Kevin Feige was actually serious about "restoring the brand" the next movie should feature the Hulk going on a murderous rampage, killing all of these characters and starting fresh. I'm not even joking
There's been "everyone gets killed by XYZ" in the comics before, so I could see it happening...in another hecking multiverse, where anyone actually cares about this franchise anymore, that is.
Well they already made streaming shows out of them, so they're contractually oblicasd;lkfja;sldkjf;alksdjf;lkasdjf;lkajsdf;lkjasdf
yeah it's a shitshow
feature conflicts between the old guard and the new generation, with Spider-Man, a young hero who fought alongside the originals, caught in the middle.
Oh cool so another Civil War??? Just what everyone has always wanted!
Civil War but with a MULTIVERSE HEIST!!! ISN'T THAT EXCITING!!! No. Frick off with that shit. They've been killing whole universes left and right in Loki. After a certain point, it just becomes a statistic. There's no tangibility to it.
I have no fricking clue what's going on with marvel anymore but the phrase "Council of Kangs" is sending my sides into low orbit
They blackwashed Kang for the MCU. Makes it even better.
we wuz kangs in every universe
can't wait to see this shit flop and Disney lose more money on this stupid capeshit
Marty was so right it's not even funny, only braindead moronic manchildren obsess over this stupid shit. have a nice day, I know there are bunch of you here as well.
Yeah, I'm not going to see it. Maybe if Jonathan Majors and Brie Larson get dropped I'll go but until then nah
I like how this guy posts random marvel bullshit with no source and manages to get 200 replies every time
good for you op, you're like a pied piper for morons
The studios need our feedback, obviously.
Mr. Marvel man, please make a movie with hot jailbait Wolverine.
Big tiddy redheads. White ones, don't be a dick and slap a wig on a black girl, she deserves better than that. And hire hot black chicks too.
They already know what we want. They have to figure out what they can get away with giving us.
I didn't need to be reminded of that.
the Avengers series is basically over without Iron man and Steve Rogers. Disney can only save the MCU brand if they hurry the frick up with the Fantastic 4 and X-Men as the new main pillars along with Spider-man.
If the MCU was like DBZ, Freeza was Thanos. Now they want to have time travel man basically be the new Freeza. Time travel can ruin everything. Loki is handling it well suggesting Kang already won and kept the timeline safe. Now how are you going to show Kang win and lose? It won't work. Thanos got a whole movie showing him win and then undoing it. Kang lost in Antman 3.... for some dumb reason. This stuff is a mess and it's trying to be safe, so it's not even a fun mess like a DC movie.
That Kang from Ant-Man was an exile. He tried to conquer the multi-verse, and the others teamed up to put him down. That would mean they're a collective threat that should be much bigger of a threat than the conquerer ever could be because Antman kang was cut off from all his tech for the most part.
Right, which is more of a problem storywise. It would make more sense if the exile was the "main" villain. Trying to have the villain be a collective of people will turn it into the borg or zombie. You need a main threat. A "bigger" threat means they need to really earn the win. There is not going to be a satisfying ending to a movie where Kang is the villain. Thanos was beaten by sacrificing 5 years and 2 main characters. It felt earned, while also feeling a bit weak they were fighting 2014 Thanos at the end of Endgame. They did a good job of establishing him, so that the threat still works despite the emotional connection being different.
That can't exist with an army, these movies are overly busy, focusing on one guy is the movie. Besides, It will not make any sense for Kang to lose, there will have to be major plot holes or conveniences or so on to make it work. If Kang can just time travel and erase people, just do that. The best thing to lean into would be the exile guy and have the army of kangs be more morally gray. DBZ showed cell win and basically just have a tournament and try to push the next gen, Gohan. It was a very unsatisfying ending after all the androids and time travel and build up. The MCU is going to copy this.
>Kang lost in Antman 3.... for some dumb reason.
Ants. Socialist Ants.
Fascists can never win.
That's why Antman's antifa daughter had her struggle in the beginning.
MCU fans are all kneelers to George Floyd.
As someone that love these movies, I just cannot feel the engagement anymore, what is canon and what isn't? What exactly stop people from resurrecting from one movie to the other? What's the point of watching any of these stories when the outcome is irrelevant? What's the value of watching these movies when they just keep getting worse? I mean, if you are so desperate to be part of a conversation couldn't you find a better hobby? Is not like anybody talk about these movies a month after they come out.
