>t. Animation student going through the gripe-cycle of seeing that nobody likes recent cartoons
People like good cartoons and good anime, we just ran out of good cartoons. You don't get viewership by default
What do you MEAN by >we just ran out of good cartoons
What makes modern cartoons objectively worse overall compared to the cartoons of 10, 20, or even 50 years ago?
So your animation school doesn't teach you anything? You don't know anything about cartooning fundamentals and you want me to teach it all to you for free? Go read John K's blog
If you're saying things like this you've given up on common Sense and so that's another reason to avoid you
Nothing. We only like mocking and insulting everything.
>So your animation school doesn't teach you anything?
i dont go to animation school moron you assumed that and then ran with your dumbass assumption >I like making new stuff to show how it's done
humor me then, post some of your work and i'll be the judge of if its quality work or not
>i'll be the judge
There are objective standards doofus. Kids aren't going to listen to you say which cartoons are good or bad. People in the industry should just make cartoons kids will like and grow from
And what other possible reason is there to defend stuff like Craig of the creek or Elemental besides that you work in the industry or want to? Ignoring me referring you to John K's blog is just more evidence
I think the main issue is anons showing up in threads about shows they don't like and getting (You)'s. Like Canadian threads getting derailed by nonsensical opinions, poor bait and namegays even though there's quite a few of us that just wanna talk about cartoons from Teletoon and YTV.
Talking about "liking" things is boring
Surprisingly you can actually find for most of the big name comics or cartoons that get bashed constantly, you can find the board giving it it's praise on another day.
Cinemaphile is just always hatefricky about most things.
>What makes modern cartoons objectively worse overall compared to the cartoons of 10, 20, or even 50 years ago?
Back in 1990 in eastern europe the perestroika happened which caused people to move out of the country and there are lesser funds left.
Animation died as soon as 2010 hit and Primal, Unicorn, and Invincible are the only cartoons that have debuted since which have actually been worth a frick...

I don't really read comics, but I like a lot of cartoons, it's just that none of them are cartoons aimed at 4-12 year olds (outside of the stuff I have nostalgia for that I watched when I was a kid), so hardly anyone on Cinemaphile talks about them nowadays.
If your ass had been here for more than a year Zoomie, you'd probably have an idea.
Maybe, just maybe, everything that comes out in this era is bad? Maybe it's because your homosexual generation has the worst taste of any group of human's today? Maybe you should considered playing chicken with an oncoming train, and saving us from having to deal with your moronation?

The main opinion groups I identified on Cinemaphile are >those who want everything to be animated and have the humor like of the "golden age" cartoons >those who want everything to be like 80's testosterone action cartoons >weebs who want western animation to be just like anime >coomers who can't accept character design that isn't sexually attractive >nostalgics who think Cinemaphilentent peaked when they were 12
I'm in the first group only because golden-age cartoons are called such because of the quality in animation. When you notice the shortcuts, you appreciate modern shows that take less of them.
I like cartoons that actually make a solid effort to be unique. I didn't like Cuphead at first because it wasn't all frame-by-frame like the game but now I do. There's no other show like it right now. Of course this theoretically means I would like the Brothers Grunt but even I have limits.
Mostly ones made before the mid 2010s

I've never seen anybody on this board hate on Aqua Teen.

Why can't we talk about old things?
Because you little homosexuals keep spamming your crap and reporting anything from before 2010.

None considering any thread that doesn't start with a twitter screencap gets no replies
I like almost every comic I read so long as it was not written by Garth Ennis.
I don't know who this Cinemaphile guy is, but Primal and Centaurworld were both recent and very good.
