>1 is bad but entertaining

I watched all of them as a kid. I grew up with waiting the prequels to release so I can chip in
>The Phantom Menace
we all knew it sucked but than again the hype was insane so even if it was any better I'd still be disappointing. also, for the first year no one wanted to admit it sucked balls. there was some cope with people lying ''on 2nd watch it gets better''. Nowadays I have a somewhat fond memories, I've soften to it because of nostalgia, nothing else. The hype was fun
>AotC
I liked it the best, but than again, I was a moronic kid. Now I can't stand it, it's so trash.
People didn't like it but it had clone wars and people were saying ''well, the 3rd one will reedeem the series!''
>3rd one (I genuinly can't remember the name of the movie except Ep III)
People say these new movies killed SW to them, well this one did it for me. I see comments that it's the best one out of the prequels but... that's not saying much
Horrid, not only a hobby but helps with revenue
I like to think the tales of his wife are false, but they're probably not. James is autistic and sound he knows any other way to handle women

the room was functionally James's office where he worked.
Maybe he should have rented an office space for his stuff to shoot his videos. Could probably get one for a decent price
1 is decent. Jar jar is stupid but I love the droid/gungan battle and the underwater city. Podracing was ALWAYS kino. Darth maul and qui-gonn were neat
2 is shit besides the jango/obi-wan scenes on the clone planet. Anakin/padme scenes are god awful. Collosseum fight really didnt age well. What else even happened in this movie? why did anakin take so long to remember his mother was on the slave planet?
Ep III is good. Simply good. Anakin's motivations for turning to the dark side is moronic. Grievious and order 66(haha, I am NOT watching disney spinoffs) were rad. CGI didnt age well. 6.5/10
> Anakin's motivations for turning to the dark side is moronic.
Anakin, u the most powerful jedi? So, it means that u didnt deserve to frick Natalie Portman, because u cuck. U not the chosen one, because some homie said this, and gonna cry, pure boy? Oh no, Anakin turns to the dark side, its so moronic.
Go have a nice day, amercian dumb Black person or watch OT garbage, if u cant understand simply motivation of teenager who just want to frick Portman and get some respect for his power.
>the Phantom Menace is 99% pointless. All the characters are either non-existent or completely changed by Attack of the Clones. Nope, but George made so many mistakes that don't fit into the original movies (77, 80, 83), and that's the biggest problem with it
If you like Andor series, you will like Episode I
If you like Mandalorian series, you will like Episode 2
And Episode 3 is the best of the 3 movies
And one thing is for sure, they are 100% better than the shitty Disney sequels
Yes. 1 and 2 have a good number of sections that drag, and a lot of the dialogue is worse than normal for George. That said, while the execution was shit, the overall story George was going for is good and compelling, and with decent people in the director's chair and fixing up his scripts, they could've easily been better than the OT.
this
also, it all looks so sterile, the CGI is horrible, it was a bad choice to greenscreen all scenes post the phantom menace
Red letter hacks actually think Sith is bad kek
it's embarrassingly bad. and please don't use some weird ''guys, youtubers subverted your opinions'' schtick I see you moronic people use. by moronic I mean the ones that thing these movie are any good. It's still ok to like the movies and watch them, I have a ton of guilty pleasures but I don't go on and tell people that they have any worth
>makes 3 new movies just to increase toy sales >they scripts are quickly dashed off and exist to create random new characters every 5 minutes to make new action figures >the movies are crummy to okay >people complain
Why did Lucas take it so personally? He clearly didn't even try to make great films. they were basically just extended toy commercials. He had 30 years to work on the script if he wanted but Phantom Menace was a first draft rush job
People were insulting his creation, and in part the old comics like Flash Gordon from the 1930's and 40's era from which he grew up from. Essentially people were insulting his childhood.
He was the original soiboy who ruined cinema by adapting comic books to the silver screen.
George thought he could put out anything and everyone would love it,
But he didn't even try to do anything good so he really shouldn't have been so insulted by it.
For the most part, yes. They have some redeeming qualities but then so does the sequel trilogy and many other shitty movies. I'm not so attached to Star Wars that I feel compelled to pretend they're good just because I like parts of them. Even ROTS is a mess.
I couldn't even watch James' movie. It looked like a bad episode with extended runtime. They also seem to have used OC characters instead of Mike and Guitar Guy.
For me EI is the only turkey by Lucas, I cannot understand the hatred for EII. It's not great but far better than EI. I blame the fat trekker from RLM for planting this stupidity in people's minds
Rewatched recently. 1 is bad but entertaining, 2 is fricking awful, 3 is decent but could've been way better with better direction.
>1 is bad but entertaining
I like watto and the podrace and duel of the fates but everything else is the worst. 2 I only like Count Dookie and anakin mom stuff
Revenge of the Sith and Goblet of Fire are 2000's camp classics.
I never understand the hatred for 2, it's so good
I watched all of them as a kid. I grew up with waiting the prequels to release so I can chip in

I watched attack of the clones 3 times and I still can't remember what it was about, the most forgettable movie ever.
Obi-wan didn't want any death sticks
are death stick like spice in dune?
Red letter hacks actually think Sith is bad kek
Most of the Plinkett review doesn't even talk about the movie.
because it's not bad so he had no content besides being fat
2 + 3 episode = pure kino of SW franchise ever. OT sucks.
>2
boring trash
What happened to this set?
where 2 cop that spooky shirt
Someone took a big diarrhea dump in it
wife made him sell his collection iirc
Horrid, not only a hobby but helps with revenue

he did frick her though, thats what makes it even more stupid. Why did he think giving birth would kill her?
>he did frick her though, thats what makes it even more stupid.
But it was taboo. and Yoda told him to break up with her.
>Why did he think giving birth would kill her?
because his vision had already come true once, when his mother died.
You're fricking kidding, right?

Frick the prequels.

What was the last AVGN episode that had soul?
doom, earthworm jim, contra, last ninja, fear and loathing(vegas stakes), and Majora's mask
Nope, but George made so many mistakes that don't fit into the original movies (77, 80, 83), and that's the biggest problem with it

Board James?
Not as good as the original trilogy, but not horrible either.
Never seen any of the other movies. I refuse to watch that crap.
Last Jedi is better than 1 and 2
Man these DVD covers are pure soul. I remember being a kid and dad giving me all 3 of them for a present. Great memory
I got them from the library

Prequels are unwatchable bad. They're not even funny "so bad it's good" bad. They're just the boring kind of bad.

Yes. NuWars being worse doesn't make the prequels any better.
