I think it's incomprehensible to 99% of people just how much shit any actor is hearing about their looks. How they look is literally part of their job, how they pay their bills, what helps give their life purpose. If they post a picture of themselves on Instagram on vacation, a wild number of the comments are going to be people telling them they're looking older, fatter, weirder, whatever you can think of they've heard it ten times before.
It's not just fans, but everybody in their circle, from their friends to everybody in the business around and above them. Now they're in competition with someone else who is also comically beautiful and unique and striking and whatever shit they had just been hearing about themselves.
