>they killed Scorch off with zero fanfare.
May as well have brought back the entire squad to get fricked in that case. Couldn't be bothered to use a random ass commando instead. Disney writers always unnecessarily go full moron with the lore.
>Tech stays permanently dead despite how unceremonious, disneyfied, and unimpactful for the other characters it was
Now that's some funny shit. Such a lame death that I couldn't even feel sad about it.
played it a bit safe none of the batch died lol, but there was at least injury like crosshair losing his hand but those who did die nala se, rampart and hemlock died in ways that I thought was satisfying
bonus points for >sticking to its own cast >no fricking ahsoka >even rex wasnt in the episode
better than TCW finale Ohmeega will be in the mandoverse, guaranteed, because filoni cant help himself
>Ohmeega will be in the mandoverse, guaranteed, because filoni cant help himself
Yep. She's going to join the ever expanding cast of characters who aren't allowed to die or change in any meaningful way.
This is honestly the worst part of nu-Star Wars. The EU had some shit I'm really pissed off about, like Palpatine clone (the first go round) and Luke going to the Dark Side; but at least events changed characters and some were allowed to bow out. But modern Star Wars is like The Thing that absorbs and assimilates ideas into its cancerous blob and then does nothing with them.
The reception to the sequels really scarred Lucasfilm so now they're reluctant to kill literally any legacy character off, they're going to go on forever and resurrect previously deceased characters like it's capeshit
>But now we have to explain away why he wasn't with Rex in Rebels.
He was just offscreen in the corner the whole time (this was literally the explanation they used for where Ahsoka was during the OT)
Except you need something to really break Rex's will to the point he's fine with being stuck on not Tattooine and having Wolf as his roommate annoying Imperial officers with schizo visions.
Echo dying on some random mission wouldn't do that.
Rex's unit he assembled being wiped out by the Empire except for Gregor should do it.

Rex seemed to handle his rebel squad getting buttfricked down to just him, Howzer, Echo and Gregor just fine.
Also you need to explain why the Empire would give him leniency as well, unless Palpatine himself shows up to pull a 4D chess move.
This, people are going to get mad when I say this but the current state of Star Wars basically boils down to extreme damage control of the backlash TLJ generated back in 2017-2018. So many of Lucasfilm's current creative decisions feel like they were directly influenced by specific criticisms like >The sequels should have been about young Luke, Han, and Leia again, swinging lightsabers! >Dave Filoni should be in charge of the franchise because he did The Clone Wars! >Major character deaths = disrespecting the character >Disney should have treated Star Wars like they did with the MCU! >They should have followed the EU!
So now we have Dave Filoni having complete creative control over all SW content, the Mandoverse, Thrawn is Star Wars Thanos now, constant fanservice or cameos like deepfake Luke whose only purpose is to swing lightsaber or show/reference something we've seen before, Filoni's characters never ever dying or even getting a final conclusion, a requirement to watch all the cartoons just to understand a new TV show, and an upcoming movie that will be a clusterfrick crossover event of OT/PT/TCW/Rebels characters and references.
Did I miss something or did the show just end without explaining why Ventress was alive, who/what the evil assassin squad were, or what was wrong with Crosshair? The last shot of Crosshair even had his hand amputated and this wasn't acknowledged by anyone
>why ventress was alive
in all fairness, its not up to this show to explain it (as it wouldve happened around a year ago in universe) >who the evil clone squad was
I wouldve liked more detail on what they were, but im happy that they were just goons instead of some reveal that one is tech or whoever >what was wrong with crosshair
doesnt explain directly but its definitely PTSD induced hand tremors
Eh, overall not the best, but could have been a lot worse, like people predicting Omega would get jedi powers to control the Zilo beats or Tech being brought back as Clone X.
That one cuck who whines about commandos is going to have a stroke over Scorch going down like a b***h. LOLOLOLOL. Get fricked, Commandos were always overrated.
Ventress was never killed off in Clone Wars so her still being alive is a non question.
The evil assassin squad being just regular clones was a cop out. It would have been fun if Hemlock cloned Clone Force 99, so when the Bad Batch found Evil Tech, they'd at first think he was the original one and it would give Crosshair some meaning of dealing with his past fighting his evil self, rather than being fatalistic about it.
As for crosshair's hand, he has PTSD and guilt for what he did in siding with the Empire.
The only real frick up was going back to Pabo, I'm surprised the imperials didn't bother to keep a garrison there. But at least it's not as egregious as Rebels with Lothal where the Imperials should have just glassed that planet with a some star destroyers over the course of a week.
Absolute fricking garbage. I can't even. I will collect my thoughts and post a full rant later. Holy shit.
have a nice day, Ventresstroon, lmao. >better than TCW finale
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Nice to see the hunter and crosshair came aim for the weak points in the armor. Scorch is dead. LOLOLOLOL
You're a dumb homosexual. It was not just a book. It is based on the scripts for TCW written with Lucas, on the episodes that never aired only because homosexuals at Disney cancelled the show so we coudl end up with garbage like rebels and trash batch. Ventress is dead, period.

Call me when you cite someone who actually writes the show since his word is less than useless now since Ventress is clearly alive.
I can't believe Clone X wasn't anyone and just got wasted like that. I feel like they were obviously setting it up to be someone. Tech theory was always dumb but it felt like Cody was a safe bet. Kinda just a waste.
Makes me wonder if twas planned to be them, but it would get so backlash, it just got scrapped.
Hemlocks data banks may have been erased but they never checked his flashdrive....seriously though something that important you'd kinda expect Pimpin Papa Palpatine to keep backups
I can't believe Clone X wasn't anyone and just got wasted like that. I feel like they were obviously setting it up to be someone. Tech theory was always dumb but it felt like Cody was a safe bet. Kinda just a waste.
It was too on the nose that the Clone X character we spent way too much time with this season entered the ship of the black chick who was into Tech. Nothing in the end truly justified that character's screen presence, not even the honor of killing a Bad Batch member.
That one X clone with the goggle helmet was totally supposed to be tech at one point. I really feel like this wasn't supposed to be THE ending and Disney just canned the series so they restructured it to be a happy ending.
>let's send in stormtroopers to contain the zillo beast who is fricking invincible >NANI WTF IT WIPED OUT TWO DIVISIONS OF TROOPERS??? NOW HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED? >all fricking commandos suddenly disappear, even though it was established that this base is full of them >Omega does not go with the kids, for reason, Echo lets her go inside the base crawling with Imperials just after escaping >BECAUSE SHE IS SO LE BADASS AND STRONG AND POWERFUL! >Nala Se is rescued, of course >Nala Se gets heroic death >moronic Shadow Troopers don't kill bad batch for reasons >what was in the red tubes that palpatine was checking out in ep 3? frick you! >no one fricking died >all those episodes with Rex, Ventress, etc were certified fricking filler
hahahahaha
No. The clone squad was in the conditioning room. The red tubes was in a different room with sith runes and shit. We never got to see what it was. Because frick you, that's why.
I was really into the episode. Up until the battle with t
"Squad X" I really thought it was going to be something excellent but after that it just felt like they rushed to the finish line. No Clone X reveal, no major death. The happy ending was nice but it felt like a disservice to the rest of the show and how praised the hard moments were. I genuinely thought the epilogue was a bit too far. A bit of openness could have been appreciated. I don't see how they all just settled down in Pabu for ever aperently. Non of them thought going with Rex and help? I don't know. Too sweet and wrapped up for me. Atleast old man Hunter was cool.
>only Tech actually died
NO BALLS
Why the frick did they make such a big deal out of Wrecker being so hurt if they were going to just cut away from him seemingly fading after that one fight only to show him totally fine later
It wasn't THAT bad as far as finales go, but I just have a lot of gripes with the series as a whole
To give Crosshair some development because he knew Wrecker would be a liability and to say they weren't the unstoppable team they once were because they lost tech.
>People b***hing about Scorch getting gunned down like a jojo side villain >This guy was a main antagonist for multiple episodes, just ends up bein a literal who and gets fodderized along with the rest of the X clones
There is absolutely no way that was the original plan for the character is there?
ahhahahahahahahah
fricking moronic creatives of this show
hyped up every episode on twitter like it's the hottest shit ever
only for it to end up being fricking nothingburger, EACH AND EVERY TIME
hahahahaha
holy frick this is too funny
This entire show has been one massive nothingburger. I thought we were going to get a Star Wars A-Team, but instead it's more like a rejected pitch for Rebels.
Worse then that, this serie definetly made me realise why the resistance was so forgotten and never talker about,This b***h can only hype up garbage and write resistance tier shit.Im no doomposter or a full on blackpiller but TBB has actually raped my ability to ever hope or feel a mm of knowledge that future X animated sw show will ever be good. Its such a fricking shame too man the art and animation division were flexing hard and being gods but where failed by the writing team, what a sad sad case this is,genuinly frick that b***h corbet i hope she never gets anything else under her belt.
>I thought we were going to get a Star Wars A-Team,
Anon you know that's too masculine for Disney. Maybe under Lucas it could have happened. But Disney? Jajajajajaja
What's to say? He was a weasel man and that got him killed
Which is pretty convenient of the clones to just...leave him unsupervised but it's the least messy way to deal with him, as opposed to the clones murdering him themselves or letting him actually escape after the shit he pulled
I mean, to the Clone's credit, they really didn't have time to baby sit him and it's not like he could sell them out without being shot on sight himself.
>Empire never goes back to the place they captured her from just earlier to recapture her so the Bad Batch can live out their happy retirement in peace
I thought their hideout being exposed had a purpose but the Empire was just nice enough to leave alone the people who took in rebels and never return.
It was garbage. She did not deserve a heroic death. None of her crimes were mentioned. She never felt any guilt. None of it was acknowledged. That b***h is responsible for everything. Yet mary sue b***h omega likes her, ergo she is a good guy. moronic show.
No. It was literally nothing. We literally know nothing about him other than he is the evil science guy. That's it. The show didn't actually develop most of its characters. This was Omega show.
where is this troon who said Scorch will not die and have a meaningful role in the story
come on
show up homosexual
the only time you were right is when they called him by his name once in episode 10, lmao
hahahahaha
Oh for frick sake im actually tilted af i loved this show so fricking much i saw its potential and fun but these subhuman animal dogs who wrote all this garbage, why did you have to rape and piss and shit on this when you could have just copied TCW formula of hey monster of the week episode but there is actually a great message behind it and mini arcs instead of this long stupid worthless sequel band aid crap. Are you telling me from its very birth this shit was gonna be a garbage sequel band aid???you telling me it was cursed instead of showing the after war period with still having anthology aspects by switching around????I wish death on star wars, based lucas for doubling down and supporting gayg igor on shitting on this once beautiful and beloved franchise.
Should've just made a Republic Commando show. In fact, that's what should've been made instead of TCW. Post-RotS, it'd be rebranded as Imperial Commando.
No it wasnt and you didnt know or see shit, the entire show was newly shat out from scratch from its animation style and art and then its story.Yea the entire thing was one big fart but it was only due to subhuman animal shitstain resistance writers not being fired and this show being a garbage sequel band aid and tie in with le sw mcu tier garbage such as mando whole clone shtick.
>monster of the week episode
No one likes those anymore. 8-10 episode serialized story's what people want. >but there is actually a great message behind it
As if.
>No one likes those anymore. 8-10 episode serialized story's what people want.
No its not about that the issue is those were on avg boring and did nothing and achieved nothing the only one that was at least fun and "lucasy" was the race episode cuz it was paying homages to the trope and old sci fi racing set pieces. But in BB we got nothing cool or intresting let alone linking to the plot or having been a backdrop for future oh yea we did X so we know about Y or i know a guy etc etc for as an example.Generic is all we got in terms of creativity >As if.
The beauty of TCW was how from start to finish we always got those messages and the entire arc or episode was masterfully done to encompass that without sacrificing anything,it felt mythical as a setting and very grandious while also being a good thinking pieces for viewers of all ages.I could go on and on but BB is painfully amatuer at its base and a garbage sequel bandaid at its core.
Cope all you want but TCW was an incredible passion project that was Lucas at its core and spirit and everything that made sw unique and amazing was there. An anthalogy series like that with that type of cgi and budget and structuring wasnt even a thought that one could have, let alone make it.Get your garbage contrarian buzzword of muh better X thing in my head.Unfortunately TBB only inherited the animations from that era and nothing else, very very sad.
It's not an anthology when it has a recurring cast of characters. Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are the main trio, while others occasionally get their own episodes. Plenty of shows do this and they're not considered anthologies.

Nobody remembers all the filler because they had to fill 20+ episodes. All the terrible Padme and Droid episodes.
I think this show might have been my "The Last Jedi" or "The Rise of Skywalker" moment (I didn't watch those movies). I am actually feeling fricking done. I don't want to have anything to do with this garbage anymore. Star Wars animation was the last thing that I liked. And this is how it turned out. Disgusting.
>tfw remember not being interested in the Bad Batch at all during the Clone Wars. >tfw getting to watch their show be the nothing burger they felt like even back then.
Lmao
So fellas.
What can we say actually happened in this show, as far as it comes to filling in the timeline gaps?
Palp's testing force sensitive cloning. That it?
Basically something something Omega's blood is necessary for Palpatine's return, she's gonna be captured in some future Mandalorian show, blah blah blah.
So fellas.
What can we say actually happened in this show, as far as it comes to filling in the timeline gaps?
Palp's testing force sensitive cloning. That it?
Project Necromancer was the project to clone Palp so he could remain immortal. The problem is all cloning tech so far causes the mitoclorianes or whatever the frick the force blood is to degrade. Omega's blood had the secret sauce to stop this so if they use her blood as a binder, they could create a clone of palp that still has all his force power.
>Omega's blood had the secret sauce to stop this so if they use her blood as a binder, they could create a clone of palp that still has all his force power.
Which didn't even happen in the fricking show, and will be saved for more shit that makes no money.
>next season on Mando Ball G >the Blue meanie manages to kidnap both Gogru and Omega and ship them off to planet bumfrick where they can finally clone a real Palpatine >old ass Bad Batch, and Mando, and sexy ass Bo-Katan must rescue them >highlights include everyone vs a Snoke >Zillo Beast vs Mythosaur
Sad thing is my shitpost would be more entertaining then whatever they actually come up with
Do you know what I fricking hate about Project Necromancer? It is cope writing. Palpatine pre-ANH should be at the height of his narcissism. He is so sure of his inevitable victory based on his visions of the future that he SHOULDN'T have any plans like Necromancer, but we have to have Necromancer because he came back in the worst SW film ever made. We all have to pretend that somehow The Last Skywalker or whatever that piece of shit was called was in fact brilliant instead of garbage.
You want to prove me wrong? A whole season of TBB should have been spent on revealing that Palpatine is in fact near death due to what Mace Windu did to him. He shouldn't just 'want' Necromancer because he's an old man who thinks he might die 'someday', but someone desperate for it. Instead it's just the usual "idiot writer tries to write smart people" dreck.
>Instead it's just the usual "idiot writer tries to write smart people" dreck.
These writers never just stick to their strengths. They always try to do much more than they're able, and the whole work suffers for it.
EU did it just as badly though with Palpatine cloning which is what Disney chose to rip off from unfortunately. Hilarious how Disney Star Wars has been turned into a giant clusterfrick of failed force cloning that lasted 50 years.
>"tell me everything about project necromancer" >think they're actually going to try and go into detail it >it gets explained offscreen >cuts back to rampart >"ahuh that's very interesting nala se! i see how this can get me what i want in a bargain!"
To be fair, the EU clone Palpatine thing was from before the prequels made him just a regular man and not like a body jumping dark spirit.
They followed up on the Zillo Beast shit which is something that ended in a giant disaster for the Empire.
They also brought Ventress in for some future project involving the Nightsister clusterfrick in Ahsoka instead of leaving her dead and bringing in Quinlan Vos instead.
I couldn't tell you. None of the characters had any meaningful character arcs. They tried with Crosshair, but he had 2 episodes in S2, and then they shat their pants. None of the plot threads actually mattered. It was either not resolved, or straight up just never mattered.
What can be said? They nuked Kamino. And they raped and pissed and shat on Scorch and clone commandos. This is what to be taken away from this show. It's an expressive, loud, explicit "FRICK YOU" to everything that you might have ever liked or cared about. Fricking despicable.
Nice, I am so glad they elaborated on what the frick those clone operatives were. >that one fricking operative that was a boss tier mob for a couple of episodes >a squad of them instantly bodies the bad batch >then they all job and die in about a minute
The only thing good to come out of Star Wars animation has been: >Genndy's Clone Wars >Obi Wan vs Maul final duel, which should have been the real Obi Wan miniseries >Some, but not all, of the Bendu scenes; which were a refreshing contrast from the usual Space Wizard-Knight and Jedi-vs-Sith autism
No, it's worse than that.
This is super duper top secret information that the Emperor not only lost, not only had no backups, but also it wasn't really that important because we know for a fact Palpatine does clone himself so all of this is completely pointless.
To be fair, Palpatine had another 20 years to get it figured out before Vader caber tossed him into the Death Star II's reactor.
Also, we could have a light hearted story about Tarkin trying to keep the Empire's budget under control and trying to figure out why Palpatine is putting all the money into cloning.
>Also, we could have a light hearted story about Tarkin trying to keep the Empire's budget under control and trying to figure out why Palpatine is putting all the money into cloning.
A Death of Stalin style workplace comedy about Imperial politics is just what this franchise needs.
Oh my god they LITERALLY pulled another Knights of Ren >group of brainwashed clones that are, barring a minor difference here or there, seem to be uniform, deadly, but ultimately disposable assassins >Lol but actually here's a group of them given the barest donut steel'ing with stupid fricking weapons >But don't worry, they'll still be nameless, devoid of personality, and exist just to be a final hurdle before the guy running the whole show
Because of course, if it were five or six strong marksman clone operatives, they'd have been able to shoot Rekka and Iko full of holes easily
>Theres an attack on project necromancers facility! >What the empire needs is a fanatically powerful warrior to sort things out. >Call in Tarkin >Tarkin
WTF was Darth Vader doing when the project Necromancer facility was crashing? Picking uot new drapes for hs crash pad on Mustafar?
The real answer is Palpy can't be telling all the other imperial shmucks about him wanting to clone himself so thats why he has to feign ignorance and not caring.
Sheev wouldn't want Vader to know he plans to clone himself and live forever. He's knows that Anakin's only reason for still sticking around him is his cope that he will eventually succeed the emperor, so if he learned that's not the case he would go ballistic.
>show off Scorch for multiple seasons >end up doing nothing with him and just killing him off
All I wanted out of Bad Batch after the introduction of the other Commandos was some kind of perspective of them or even slight focus on them. Instead the literal reason for the concept of a bunch of commando clones are just treated like generic stormtroopers.
No you don't get it, Dave Filoni's commandos are the only ones that get to be competent, anything that's not personally made in his fan fiction is bullshit and doesn't count.
>“Well, for ‘The Bad Batch’, you'll be seeing Scorch more. But, as for other Republican Commandos, I can't really say. But you know, there are so many stories to tell in Star Wars. So I'd say nothing's out of the realm of possibility for future content.”
hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahaha
>still haven't set up how the frick rex ends up with wolfe, or said anything about cody
Oh boy I can't wait for the "Tales of the Clones from the Clone Wars featuring the Bad Batch" show announcement.
90% of this series felt like filler and fetch quests.
This ending answered NO questions. I can't believe Filoni introduced like 15 different important ideas and answered NONE of THEM. We're they all Red herrings?
-Project Necromancer?
- " M-Count "
No clear explanation. We can guess but it's never stated. They just blow up the lab and move on.
- Clone Operative Project?
- "Special Clone Conditioning"
- Who was Clone X?
-Why are they stored in cold Cyrotubes?
-Why does it take like 12 shots to kill a single Clone Operative?
-Are they zombies or dead clones?
No idea. No questions answered. Clone X is randomly impaled. No One cares. Was it tech? No idea. They just blew it up.
-Zillow Beast
-did they make new armor from its hide?
-Wtf happened to cloning Zillow Beasts?
-Did the Empire seriously only have one clone Zillow beast?
No one knows Zillow just escaped and walked in the forest.
-How do we have "Female" clones? Who are they clones of? Boba Fett? How? He's a guy. Is this a Trans thing?
-Did they gender bend Boba Fett's DNA? Why?
-Who is Dr. Emery and how is she a female Clone? What's her backstory?
No questions answered. It's just ignored. Remember Dr. Emery's big reveal at end of last season? Yeah no one cares now.
-Did Hemlock REALLY not keep a single backup of his work anywhere off-site in a secure area? All his data was in ONE location???
Lame and unbelievable.
-So wtf happened to the Clones that were decommissioned? Were they given jobs? Money? Where did they go?
Were talking Billions of Clones that fought in the war. They all just disappeared! Did we get any scenes opening a business. Or restaurant with their retirement money? Maybe one clone becomes a bounty hunter?
The show seems ignore all that?
-What make Omega so special? What is her purpose? Why did Nala Sey make her?
>I can't believe Filoni introduced like 15 different important ideas and answered NONE of THEM. We're they all Red herrings?
Blame the dumb white b***h who wrote this shit.
>90% of this series felt like filler and fetch quests.
This
The literal only good parts of this show were the episodes that had literally nothing or the bare minimum of screen time of the bad batch. This show could have been condensed down into just those few moments and be made a few episodes of "Tale of x" thing.
Omega fricked the Bad Batch. We *needed* a clone commando squad going rogue, organizing a clone revolt, dealing with the Empire's underbelly etc. Instead we got Necromancer and Omega directly because of the Sequel's bullshit about Palpy returning. This is the SECOND fricking Filoni show that's gone into force sensative cloning just to instantly kill it.
Probably why my favourite episodes (and some of the only ones I actually remember) are the Crosshair ones from S2. >Hunta is the SERIOUS one! >Wrecka is DUMB and STRONG! >Tick is SMART and talks in technobabble! >Who's Echo? Oh him! He's offscreen doing missios!
I'm going assume the writers logic is they all died fighting the Zillo beast, which is beyond moron that the empire didn't even have any other means to counter the Zillo other than means that we fricking saw didn't work in the clone wars. Why would they not just rig the containment chamber for the thing with the gas that worked in the show?
Even though I had a lot of problems with this show, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss it. I wonder what will be the next animated series after tales of the empire.
I'm convinced Filoni doesn't know how to direct something that shows Rex getting super cucked that resulted in him being a hobo in the desert.
Any story with clones fighting against the empire will end badly because we know how it ends and who's left. It might be too depressing for a "kids" show.
A good example of this is the final scene. Omega 'sneaking off' to joint the Rebellion, which is so obvious and cliche that it feels more like the start of a fanfic than it does an actual ending or epilogue.
But that makes sense for her character. She would want to go fight in the rebellion and not chill out on paradise island forever.
Anonymous
I'm not saying she SHOULDN'T join the Rebellion, I'm saying that the scene was lazy and cliche. A better epilogue in my mind would be her actually fighting in the Rebellion or really anything other than sneaking off while Hunter gives some softball concern before letting her go. The scene is completely devoid of any weight because there is no actual pushback or conflict within the mini-story it tries to tell.

I for one am satisfied we got a happy ending for once. Aside from Tech everyone got a happy ending, and with so much media being bleak and cynical it's nice to have something hopeful. The ending isn't the problem (at least not a big problem). The real problem is this show took 50 episodes to get there.
This show could have told the same story in half the amount of episodes.
Dont think we will get anything new or even news about anything new for some time tho its probably gonna be almost same time sphere as TBB,id be mindblown if they hit us with prequel time show tho regardless of TCW.
Don't you worry they're going find a way to frick up Andor also. I can't wait for Luthen to be revealed to be secretly a jedi and his stupid staff was a light saber all along.
They'll probably announce the next animation project at Star Wars Celebration this week which is why they rushed out episodes some weeks. Be it the Clone Rebellion, Omega's time in the Rebellion, or something new in the High Republic. They can't waste this animation style.
Yes, this is how modern media works now especially Disney, look at Marvel. Disney is in the IP business and it's a never ending business. Until the heat death of the universe, they'll keep making shit. There's a bit of an existential crisis in the thought that there will be Star Wars after we're dead.
>There's a bit of an existential crisis in the thought that there will be Star Wars after we're dead.
Existential crisis? More like relief. Thank God there is a point where Star Wars will no longer be ruined for me.
Because nobody cares about the period where nothing fricking happens. The most interesting shit happens before the Republic is established, and within Episode I's timeframe and beyond.
It's a bit of a darkhorse, it doesn't involve Favreau or Filoni but the showrunner did create Russian Doll S1 which wss a hit. I mean people said X-Men 97 and Fallout would be DOA too but then those went on to become hits.
X-Men and Fallout have nostalgia behind them along with an established audience. The high republic has neither of those other than just being star wars adjacent.

And it takes place in the most boring era of Star Wars.
Honestly, feels like they planned 4+ seasons. Decided to meander for season 2, got told they're not getting more than 3 seasons and then had to rush everything to this mess of an ending, where it just feels like nothing happened.
It's very typical. Assume they have all the time in the world to 'tell their story', Disney beancounters get nervous about the fact they'll have to start giving people raises, and soft-cancel the show. Rebels had this same problem.
And now the cloned zilobeast has been just forgotten now. Whatever the hell Palpatines intentions for it were are just going be forgotten and now the things just running around on the planet its on.

So why did the Empire blow up Kamino? Wouldn't it make more sense to occupy and blockade the planet? It had literal cities built across the planet dedicated to cloning.
Mount Tantiss was a single tiny ass mountain by comparison.
More like the clone rebellion or uprising shit. The entire tex team where like less then 10 soldiers and outside of wolfie we barely got much clone troopers or even mixed squads of recruits and clones.
>samegayging and mass replying every single one of my messages even tho none address him
Mind broke the subhuman wcyd, seethe and rope before my rent free in your head kills you first.Dont be sad over others knowing who you are
>Watch post credits scene >It's another here's a bunch of character's you'd assume die some point during the original trilogy, hide off screen for the entire trilogy to survive ending.
Man the clone x squad was cool looking.
I would have prefered a downer ending but this was nice. They actually have a credible answer on why the batch isn’t here in other medias : they literally can’t fight anymore >Crosshair, a sniper, only has one hand and has issues shooting >Wrecker, a tank, took so much damages his body is too fricked >hunter, a tracker, no longer can move freely and has a big limp
Having omega as a pilot is safe love but it does keep things open for her.
There’s 100% a remaining clone show though, even if it’s a short series. They HAVE to explain some shit. Echo also probably have to die somewhere.
>There’s 100% a remaining clone show though, even if it’s a short series. They HAVE to explain some shit. Echo also probably have to die somewhere.
I don't care anymore. Not after the garbage that was this series.
>implying that Crosshair having only one hand is a limiting factor
Did you watch the fricking star wars movies? If you did you might remember the setting has FULLY FUNCTIONAL CYBERNETICS. >implying any of them took damage that can't be fixed with bacta
I remember that when Scorch first appeared, the official site said something about his colours being an homage to the character, as if it wasn't originally supposed to be Scorch himself. I wish they'd stuck with that.
did you miss the whole part in season 1(?) where they talked about Boba whose codename was Alpha, while also referring about/to Omega and the whole Jango project as a whole? >something something Alpha has gone rogue/missing and all we have is Omega in terms of remaining unaltered Jango DNA
>no stakes >no consequences >no impact >lazy writing >shitting on legacy characters for no reason >But it's le good!
Are you disabled? If Rex was not going to be a part of the finale, why make him a part of the fricking show at ALL? What was his fricking point?
wow, you gaylords are dumb as shit, it's impressive
Oh, I know why they did that. Because the show is GARBAGE, and they baited people into watching it by including characters people ACTUALLY LIKED.
>scorch being present in 3 seasons only to be shot down like a dog, again >No rex, cody or wolfe >riddicoulous bad batch plot armor >Zillo beast deus ex machine to get rid off all TK troopers >we have preatorians at home
At least Echo was given proper respect and being MVP while proving why he was ARC trooper after all.
Now I'm 100% sure that there will be Rex and Echo series along with Omega in the new mandalorian movie.
Of all the Delta Squad commandos, Scorch was Filoni’s favorite. It’s another case of wish-fulfillment gone wrong for the fans when they get a fan-favorite on screen. But perhaps in a meta way, maybe unintentionally, I think also that Lucasfilm wants to demonstrate how the Bad Batch has surpassed the original Delta Squad.
>Of all the Delta Squad commandos, Scorch was Filoni’s favorite.
Source? IDK, it's a pretty big shift in Filoni's attitude towards them.
Filoni back then (2013): >Q: Are you going to introduce Delta Squad from the Republic Commando video game? >Filoni: It’s really unlikely. The reason why is that they are such a specific group and when we seem to meddle with what people think is continuity in the Expanded Universe, it causes big uproar. Rather than bring those guys in, it would be more likely that we create our own group of Republic Commandos, if we did anything like that. I know Tim Longo, who did the game Republic Commando. He’s awesome – we talk all the time about his game. When we did the heads-up display in the recent episode with Gregor (‘Missing in Action’), I made sure it was the exact display from the game. It’s more out of respect for that creation that we don’t actually use those guys, even though I know a lot of fans would like it. But there are a whole bunch of those guys in reality.

>what we got in Bad Batch
where is this troon who said Scorch will not die and have a meaningful role in the story
come on
show up homosexual
the only time you were right is when they called him by his name once in episode 10, lmao
hahahahaha
So, who's to blame, really? Filoni, of course, responsible for not giving enough of a shit and not tard wrangling his underlings. The biggest blame is on the head writer
lmao
>“Well, for ‘The Bad Batch’, you'll be seeing Scorch more. But, as for other Republican Commandos, I can't really say. But you know, there are so many stories to tell in Star Wars. So I'd say nothing's out of the realm of possibility for future content.”
hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahaha
and supervising director Brad Rau.
But Filoni is not free of guilt, given he let that happen. Fricking disgusting.
>Omega joins the rebellion and the Bad Batch were on standby the whole time
I like that she wasnt mentioned or made out to be some elite pilot, then again she could get some screen time in rogue squadron. The fact that the three of them probably had a part in some secret mission is interesting, who knows maybe they got the plans for second death star only to die alongside the bothans
>thinking she is going to be generic Rebel pilot #40189
She will be leading OMEGA SQUADRON which will be one of the most elite squadrons in tha Rebel Alliance, but never was at any of the major battles in the OT because she was "busy doing important missions" offscreen.
>and the Bad Batch were on standby the whole time
Hunter was limping even after the time skip. Arguably Wrecker and Crosshair got hurt worse. They might be alive but they're surely not on "standby".
Honest Question. Was this show written by a woman?
I don't follow Star Wars staff. I only know George Lucas. I ask because this show feels like the head writer was a woman. The show is focused on feels and turning the Bad Batch into Dads. Omega feels like a stand in for a female writer who lacked a father. If a man wrote this show, I feel like the Bad Batch would become bounty hunters and go on cool adventures and turn Omega into a trained killer. It wouldnt end like it did.
>“Well, for ‘The Bad Batch’, you'll be seeing Scorch more. But, as for other Republican Commandos, I can't really say. But you know, there are so many stories to tell in Star Wars. So I'd say nothing's out of the realm of possibility for future content.”

>head writer is a woman
Yeah there isn't a drop of masculinity in this show.
1. Omega getting abducted but also being the super important girl and key to everything
2. Her Bad Batch Daddies always come to rescue her
3. Everyone is focused on Omega even before the Empire is after her.
4. She is the voice of reason
5. Bad Batch raise her
Honestly it would have been cooler if the Bad Batch just found an Orphan girl and trained her instead. She didn't need to be related to them.
>rampart tried to take the data for himself to ransom back to the Empire >"The data does not belong to you/the Empire, it is Kaminoan."
just a throwaway line at the end of Nala Se's life but I liked how she remained loyal to her people to the end, and how it shows the way they think of their research
Considering Scorch's ultimate fate? No, Fixer should not have been in it either. They should have created a generic OC. Nothing would have changed. But no, it had to be Delta, cause people like them and remember them, and it will get engagement points on social media. Bring in fan favorite characters as bait, because your own shit is as bland as unseasoned chicken.
I did not complain about the chips, in fact I even defended the decision. I loved the more emotional state the TCW did for the clones but honestly I’ll become a grog. Go back to the emotion less killers, I can rewatch genndy wars endlessly pure fluff all action. Bad batch has utterly has made clone troopers cry babies to me. TCW started it but at least it was well written but now bad writers can’t keep up.
either on one of the other mountains on tantiss, in prison cells somewhere, or dead
somehow the kaminoans will return on some other forgotten base they set up somewhere
This show is all build up and wiener tease, but no payoff. >We are all gonna die! >We all go in, we are not making it out! >[insert 500000000 tweets by the b***h writer, composers and other creatives about how we are literally gonna die of sadness, BATCHNATION HOW R WE HOLDING UP?] >nothing happens
Absolute garbage. Fricking embarrassing.
You are correct in that assessment.
I loved this slow talking, puppy dog eye having, mad scientist experimenting tall alien b***h like you wouldn't believe.
At least she went out killing that b***h homie Rampart.
>seen a bunch of """people""" saying how the finale brought them to tears
A significant portion of the SW fandom is definitely overly emtional maladjusted adults.
>I shrivel inside each time it is mentioned. 20 years ago, it had a freshness, a sense of moral good and fun. Then I began to be uneasy at the influence it might be having. The bad penny first dropped in San Francisco when a sweet-faced boy of twelve told me proudly he had seen Star Wars over a hundred times. His elegant mother nodded with approval. Looking into the boys eyes I thought I detected little star-shells of madness beginning to form and I guess that one day they would explode. 'I would love for you to do something for me,' I said. "Anything! Anything!' the boy said rapturously. 'You won't like what I'm going to ask you to do.' I said. 'Anything, sir, anything!' 'Well,' I said, 'do you think you could promise never to see Star Wars again?' He bursts into tears. His mother drew herself up to an immense height. 'What a dreadful thing to say to a child!' she barked, and dragged the poor kid away. Maybe she was right but I just hope the lad, now in his thirties, is not living in a fantasy world of secondhand, childish banalities.
This show would've worked much better as a miniseries or something. Self contained, no Omega, Clone Force 99 stays in the empire longer, and a final showdown with Delta Squad when they defect if they want to go balls deep in fan service. Probably a open ending but idk about that.
>didn't expect clone x to be anyone >but expected them to actually elaborate on what they are beyond "lmao yeah they got conditioned" >they all jobbed and died >never learn anything
Bravo Lucasfilm.
It's clearly a red heering, especially with the designs of each members, or that they keep losing their helmet during the fight I expected one to be tech but for the bach to not recognize him at all.
Clearly the morons we'd seen in TBB were a prototype that was proven effective and they then made more of these frickers. Only we never seen them in TBB for some reason, but who cares about that shit show. Although I wish they'd finally make an animated version of paratroopers/purge troopers.
From what I remember they were essentially clone trooper prototypes before they even had the early clone trooper armor. >refurbish mk 2 clone armor and paint it black >let em learn from a clone trooper commander >within a handful of episodes later they're never seen again as stormtroopers are rolled out.
On that topic if so many clone trooper were steadily turning on the Empire/breaking the conditioning how did we never see 1 single clone commando turn
its odd since originally in the EU it was mostly Commandos who were leaving and deserting.

Well because the old EU had the clones work completely differently. Most of the regular grunts were obedient and quiet by design and nature. It was Arc Troopers and Commandos who had more free will and creativity so they were able to form things like political opinions or spend their time-off reading.
In current canon all clones are pretty much the same with Arc Troopers just being clones who performed well and got extra training.

Because AotC said they were. ARC Troopers and Commandos were a way to give certain clones character.

Disney has played loose and fast often to terrible results trying to play in the sandbox between the clone wars and ANH.
>On that topic if so many clone trooper were steadily turning on the Empire/breaking the conditioning how did we never see 1 single clone commando turn
The show barely acknowledged them as clones. No one ever tried to talk to them. No one ever tried to rescue them. We never got their POV. They were just generic evil NPCs turned bodyguards. Incompetent ones at that. Completely interchangeable with TK-troopers. What this show did to Republic Commandos might be the biggest case of rape since Luke Skywalker in TLJ.

its odd since originally in the EU it was mostly Commandos who were leaving and deserting.
It's a bit ironic how they, just like the clones, probably ended up being replaced by the actual stormtroopers.
wasn't the explanation is that they deliberatly were given a lot less ressources/budget for their equipement since most of the big roles still were kept by clone troopers? We don't see any TK commanders ,just regular troopers and shock troopers.
I assume they had to wait for most clones to lose their commanding roles before rolling out the full stormtroopers. With the former TK teaching them just like how clones teached the TKs.
They are both : they are named stormtrooper but they often were called "TK troopers".
They are more or less the alpha test of stormtroopers https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TK_stormtrooper
Well, they could have done it here. But they chose to circlejerk McQuarrie's ugly ass design. One of the many, many, many things this shit show did wrong. Oh well.
They could still reincorporate it by using it as the design for Vader's Fist (what with them being the former 501st and being allowed to keep their old markings)
Ah who am I kidding, Vader's Fist is never gonna be canon again.
They haven't even touched Vaders fist and I'm afraid to see if they ever do.
Only way to be faithful is >everyone of them are 501st Clone troopers >they never break rank fully loyal to Anakin/Vader >only when some die are the best of the best stormtroopers moved into them >Vader and the 501st arent even given specific orders, they show up where the fightings the worst and decimate the enemies of the empire and move on

This final episode could have been a great episode to showcase them in that light >have dozens of escaped Clones fighting the skeletal remains of Hemlocks forces >BB and a few others escape but many are left behind fighting >instead of Tarkin have it be Vader and the 501st >mow down the escaped clones >kill a couple were bears from outside >then take down the zillobeast >Vader strolls out "tell the Emperor his precious pet is dead" >level the base from orbit to make sure no one else can use 8t
>rescue all those force sensitive kids >Vader nor any of the inquisition ever shows up on the island retreat to tear someone a new butthole and find out where they are.
That's another thing, you can't establish that the Empires force sensitive blood hounds are so successful that untrained force sensitives are mind bogglingly rare then turn around and free multiple force sensitive kids and never see any repercussions
>a bunch of frickers literally frick up a super secret Imperial military facility that was of personal interest to the Emperor >kill gazillion of Imperial personnel and troopers >killed Hemlock >freed the prisoners >they retire to fricking Pabu that the Empire knows of >the Empire never bothers checking >the Empire never punished them for fricking KILLING THEIR FRICKING PEOPLE AND FRICKING UP THEIR BASE >they just forgot about them and forgave them, because, ugh, Tarkin said so!
lmao ahhadasjdjahdjadkjajahahahhahahahaha
this is rebels tier moronation when the Empire didn't frick up Lothal after they overthrew Imperial government and had Thrawn and his fleet go missing (or killed, as far as the Empire knew)
fricking hilarious
imagine if someone were to go frick up a US military base, kill a bunch of people, and then fricked off and not be dead within the next hour
fricking hilarious mate, hahahahha
This is so fricking moronic. I can't even. What a gay ass, garbage ending for a gay ass, garbage show.
anyone can just go kill gazillion Imperials and nothing will happen to them, kek
Was about those on that Coruscant space station that inputs the coordinates for Tantiss? It's foolish for information on Hemlock's shit to be kept only by him.
Remember, the whole reason Scorch got "confirmed" in season 2 was because fans went loopy over him not being confirmed in season 1, I uniroincally believe they're going to make a post saying "Hey look Scorch isn't dead guys, please don't rape us" in response to the angry fans over this, it would still be a shitshow but I'd get my laughs in.
I hate how bad batch has actually turned me into a TCW 2008 hater now. I cant stand them turning clones into utter losers and sissies just bring them back to this.
You are moronic then. The two shows couldn't be more different. Bad Batch is written by a woman and has nothing for male fans to latch onto. TCW clones are completely different from bat b***hes clones, who want to fricking retire and sit on their asses and do nothing. Clone Force 99 is an embarrassment to the GAR.
They are just selfish pieces of shit. They didn't give a shit about anything for the entire show, except MUH OMEGAH. It was Rex who kept fighting, risking his life for his brothers, and established clone underground off-screen. And he remained off-screens. These sad frickers just wanted to frick off and never be bothered. With their skills, with their experience, they just wanted to frick off, instead of putting them to good use. This is honestly such a shitty show. What is even the point? This is neither heroic nor interesting. Just a bunch of sad fricks want to retire. This isn't a story. This isn't inspiring. What is the point?

It's okay if they don't want to. But this isn't a story. It's garbage. It doesn't deserve to be animated. Okay, they retired, the end. Whatever. Show me what Rex is doing, because he is doing shti that is actually important, has stakes and consequences beyond fricking HIMSELF and that shitty little mary sue. moron.
I completely disagree. Hemlock was actually a breath of fresh air as far as villains go. Everything he did was strategically sound and he reacted calmly and logically when everything fell apart around him.
I'd say he was definitely up there in my top 5 favorite Star Wars characters.
lol >send two divisions of troopers to fight zillo beast for some reason >even though he knows zillo beast is invincible to blaster fire >don't guard the data banks >don't have backups >don't guard the prison cells >don't kill bad batch for some reason when everything is at stake
He is a moron. Just like Thrawn. He shits his pants, but he is calm, and shitting himself was actually a part of his plan all along.
>waste troopers to contain Zeelo even he suppose to know it's immune to blasters >didn't authorise starfighters sorties to shot down any possible escapy >didn't step over his ego and called for back-up (arguably positive) >didn't call for more commandos for escort beside scorch, and SLOWLY WALKED on bridge instead, like walking fast >didn't backed up his data >DIDN'T BACKED UP HIS DATA >didn't killed off force 99 just to be safe (alright, i can let it slide) >had just one lazer in zeelo containment instead of multiple >didn't shot at crosshair and hunter on bridge, though he can guess they would shot back or else they hurt omega (that's one is also arguable)
Hemlock showed himself as fricking moron in this episode. Also >didn't (sleep) gas clone-troopers in they cells just to be safe
The whole Zillo Beast thing is actually a pretty good point, though there really wasn't many options when it came to that.
>waste troopers to contain Zeelo even he suppose to know it's immune to blasters >didn't authorise starfighters sorties to shot down any possible escapy >didn't step over his ego and called for back-up (arguably positive) >didn't call for more commandos for escort beside scorch, and SLOWLY WALKED on bridge instead, like walking fast >didn't backed up his data >DIDN'T BACKED UP HIS DATA >didn't killed off force 99 just to be safe (alright, i can let it slide) >had just one lazer in zeelo containment instead of multiple >didn't shot at crosshair and hunter on bridge, though he can guess they would shot back or else they hurt omega (that's one is also arguable)

I honestly question modern writers, I sure as hell cant write but how do they go about the writing process for things? Do they even bother to look up old info for a character? Even bother to check a wiki? Even bother to just type in republic commando scorch in youtube and wartch a 1 minute clip to instantly understand the character?

You cant be that petty youll ruin a character
>Science project needs commandos >Here doctor I have 3 commandos maybe 4 I dont know if thats canon shut up >Would you like >The stoic leader of the group who follows orders and knows how to finish it? >His by the books second in command who has a interest in technology >An explosives specialist known for insubordination >Yeah give me the yellow one his backpack is cool
>>Yeah give me the yellow one his backpack is cool
They didn't even include his backpack ordnance tubes. For all intents and purposes, it was just a generic henchman. Fricking embarrassing, really.
The show had so much potential. Could have introduced Delta Squad in S1, have them hunt down Delta. Could have had Crosshair join Delta as Sev replacement. Could have rescued Sev, since they went to Kashyyyk. But no. The show didn't do shit. It literally didn't take any opportunity to make this good. Fricking baffling.
>His show personality doesn't fit his game's version
fits his novel version, which was after kashyyyk
Novels are not canon. Even the game is not canon. For all we know, Sev never went missing. The show never established any context. "Scorch" in the show is a generic henchman with no personality, no history, no characterization, with no ties to Delta Squad. Anyone responsible for that should get assraped.

Are you stupid? The show BAD BATCH never mentioned his connection to Delta Squad. It never mentioned Delta Squad. It never established context for Scorch's behavior. It never established his history. He is completely interchangeable with any generic commando. Nothing that makes his Scorch was acknowledged by the show THE BAD BATCH: not his history, not his personality, not his specialization, nothing.
This. They are a bunch of writers and executives who never grew up on the games and don't have any connection to these characters. Someone probably said "what if we use one of the guys from this game people liked" and it probably got good focus group feedback.
You know how you see arguments over "these people grew up as star wars fans so they shouldnt write for star wars/things they like" yeah that argument is moronic since you get shit like this.
Don't worry guys, that Scorch was falling over to my head, so i catch him with force, and heal his wounds, with the force. Now he is part of my crew, totally consensually, naturally, i just need to wait when he wake up to tell him that. Also, i copied Hemlock data just before some weird allien show up, i wonder what i will do with it.
She had probably given up on life at that point. She most likely didn't see any reason to continue living when her species in all but gone and no one gives a shit about it. Just like how Tech never even thought to try to cling to life when he knew that his time had come. All that mattered to her was making sure her research didn't benefit the ones who fricked her over and seeing Omeegah safe.
I'm honestly satisfied with how her story ended. She was a highlight of the series for me. I'm hoping to get Gwendoline Yao to sign a Nala Se poster for me at a convention some day. That would be based.
A lot of fans fricking hate her for her involvement in Fives' death and she was pretty much guaranteed to die the moment she was captured by Hemlock. For me, its not hard to sympathize with her and other Kaminoans. Despite being evil mad scientists, they just excluded an aura of helplessness and gentleness like pretty much anyone could beat the shit out of one.
Also, are Kaminoans basically just extinct now?
Having a soldier with a screwdriver for a hand to do droid work in a galaxy with trillions of droids is much more important than a soldier with two hands.
>Why wasnt Echo ever given a new hand in a universe full of robot hands?
Probably a number of reasons:
1.) Practicality. Less work for animators as Echo having many doo-dads and gadgets is a potential logistic nightmare for a team, even with the resources available at Lucasfilm’s disposal. It was probably best to keep production simple.
2.) Efficiency. Echo is out normally doing covert work on his missions. Having a hand to pop on-and-off may be a liability in the long run when he needs to scomp into piece of machinery.
3.) Uniqueness. People get robot hands all the time in Star Wars, but Echo having no such hand makes his character design different from the rest.
Still, hope his future appearances give him a more suitable robot hand that comes on and off similar to Cobra. But if not, him just getting a hand for the finale was good enough.
>one of the commandos has tech like goggles >a whole scene is dedicated to said commando retrieving the helmet and putting it back on >gets immediately smashed into a wall and then everyone just magically leaves
Episode genuinely feels like it got absolutely taken apart on the cutting room floor.
Bolt colour doesn't actually mean anything for its effect in combat anymore, it's basically like tracer colours with bullets, with different compositions being available to make it easier to tell whose shots they are. Red is the most common because... it's the most common, and is thus the cheapest to use.
Wasted potential the show. No real payoff, lazy timeskip ending, no final moment with Crosshair instead we get Hunter.
I feel like the entire ending scene was like hey we have a model for adult Omega and we need to show it off lets write that scene. Thats kinda what i feel like a lot of this series is like riding off the coat tails of Clone Wars while dovetailing in stupid ideas from hacks who cant create something on their own so they need to stand on someone elses shoulders.
Like its pretty clear women had a large involvement as its clear that Omega was a super special female character created by women because they wanted representation.
Basically this show was like an upscaled version of rebels. Mostly filler, dissapointment, only good episodes are the series openers and endings. Even this ending felt very by the books play it safe.
Probably the only really good parts of the episode are when Crosshair wants to go on a suicide mission and then when Nala Se actually does it.
Hunter and Wrecker feel like very boring 2 dimensional characters.
Visually the episode was some of their best work but largely they flubbed the ending by having had very little over all impact.
Why does Tarkin just announce to some subordinate that funding to project Necromancer will be diverted to Star Dust? I mean shouldnt he voice that with the Emperor or someone who does the Imperial budget? It just sounds like hes voicing out loud what he wants to do for the audience and its very hamfisted. I mean Tarkin could have just said nothing, he could have made a personal jibe at Hemlock, he could have pondered why the Emperor felt why this project was so important.
Also why do we get Star Destroyers hanging out over the facility when they can just be in orbit? Are they just there to look cool?
I think really a lot of this show can be chalked up to women and diversity hires inserting their narratives into something bland and inoffensive so everyone can have represenation
the woman tarkin talks to clearly has the ability to fully shut down the entire planet's use, so sending the funding they would be getting to some other project should be easy for her
I know its the ending and all but didnt expect the thread to basically hit bump limit so fast, especially with how low activity some of the older weekly ones were, not even that much seething outside of the commandotards.Hope to see you guys well off for tales soon.Cheers
The thread for episode 14 also got to bump limit, in contrast to the threads for the previous few episodes before it.
Maybe the trailers for Tales of the Empire/Jedi S2 energised the SW fans on Cinemaphile?
Yea that is why i said some before and after threads from ep 14 were medium to flat out low.
As for the energized the fandom, nah not really we had like 2 or 3 crossposting nogs from /tg/ who legit copy pasted shit that they wrote here to there and they also started schizoposting and commandotarding hard wich pissed the quality of the threads even tho the episodes themselves were midtier or flat out bad.I just hope tales is fun and great and crossposting Black folk frick off and schizopost on Cinemaphile or someshit.Cheers
This is as embarrassing as Techtards coping that he also lived. Just shut the frick up. I'd rather be honest and say that I fricked Jennifer Corbett's mother on the back of her father, instead of doing this copium bullshit.
where is this troon who said Scorch will not die and have a meaningful role in the story
come on
show up homosexual
the only time you were right is when they called him by his name once in episode 10, lmao
hahahahaha
>Gregor took the same amount of shots in season 1 and lived >Hunter fell from the same height in season 1 and was fine
Yea if they reverse Scorch's death because fans are pissed I won't be surprised.
This is as embarrassing as Techtards coping that he also lived. Just shut the frick up. I'd rather be honest and say that I fricked Jennifer Corbett's mother on the back of her father, instead of doing this copium bullshit.
[...]
Yeah bro, he totally fricking lived. Frick off.
Man i love you bro, your rage is like my fuel at this point, I'll give you a quick frick in a few months time or something depending on what they announce.
Nah bro just be real we've been fed memes and lies about legacy characters or canonizing shovelware vidya characters as just setpieces and probably toy advertizment. The only commando fanservice and nostalgia mementos came from the sound design guy who also worked and did the vidya too.
The most jarring thing for me is how much the batchers got nerfed and jobbed compared to their debut episode and possibly their kashyyk arc. >Verification not required
I expect disappointment.
Yep safest ending possible, also get fricked republic commando fans, they killed Scorch off with zero fanfare.
>they killed Scorch off with zero fanfare.
May as well have brought back the entire squad to get fricked in that case. Couldn't be bothered to use a random ass commando instead. Disney writers always unnecessarily go full moron with the lore.
GOOD SOLDIERS GET BLASTED
I like the show.
>comfy
I liken it more to resignation but I'll try to muster a little enthusiasm
Also I thought the episodes don't drop for about another hour
Bad batch, more like Bad Show.
Please, kill Omega. I'm fricking begging you. Nothing else matters as long as Omega dies with this shit series
Too bad, you get canon teenage Omega porn now.
Indeed. there are many kinds of victory
Oh shit, Hemlock cloned all of the Bad Batch for his secret weapon squad.
Okay, at LEAST the finale runtime is increased to 50 minutes (which includes credits and such but it's still an improvement)
I'm going in
>Hunter dead
Talk about taking your ball and going home.
>Tech stays permanently dead despite how unceremonious, disneyfied, and unimpactful for the other characters it was
Now that's some funny shit. Such a lame death that I couldn't even feel sad about it.
Tech's actor didn't want to renew his contract.
You mean Dee Baker?
The same guy who voices literally every clone in the series besides Omega?
What's that flying over your head?
He just sort of gave up when he realized he had Wanda Sykes waiting for him at home
Solid finale, 8/10
played it a bit safe none of the batch died lol, but there was at least injury like crosshair losing his hand but those who did die nala se, rampart and hemlock died in ways that I thought was satisfying
bonus points for
>sticking to its own cast
>no fricking ahsoka
>even rex wasnt in the episode
better than TCW finale
Ohmeega will be in the mandoverse, guaranteed, because filoni cant help himself
oh and
Scorchbros.....
its fine, he fell off something, we all know that wont kill someone in star wars, the armour wouldve blocked the shots
Absolute fricking garbage. I can't even. I will collect my thoughts and post a full rant later. Holy shit.
have a nice day, Ventresstroon, lmao.
>better than TCW finale
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
TCW finale was dogshit, but that was a problem with the season as a whole
lol homosexual slit your wrists
it was fricking Tarkovsky next to this moronic slop
>BRO LE DARTH VADER!!!!!
>BRO LE DARTH MAUL!!!!!
>Dooku? Grievous? Obi-Wan? Anakin? the main cast of this show? who's that?
? Grievous? Obi-Wan? Anakin? the main cast of this show? who's that?
In Revenge of the Sith, you subhuman monkey. Slit your wrists, homosexual.
the main move which the spin off is based on? what's that?
They could've just killed Echo again since he already died once. But now we have to explain away why he wasn't with Rex in Rebels.
>But now we have to explain away why he wasn't with Rex in Rebels.
He was just offscreen in the corner the whole time (this was literally the explanation they used for where Ahsoka was during the OT)
>this was literally the explanation they used for where Ahsoka was during the OT
Where the frick was she for Marvel's Star Wars?
just offscreen to the right.
You'd think they'd make a big deal about Luke meeting Ahsoka for the first time.
So many of Lucasfilm's current creative decisions feel like they were directly influenced by specific criticisms like
>The sequels should have been about young Luke, Han, and Leia again, swinging lightsabers!
>Dave Filoni should be in charge of the franchise because he did The Clone Wars!
>Major character deaths = disrespecting the character
>Disney should have treated Star Wars like they did with the MCU!
We haven't even gotten a single project out of Filoni's tenure. Everything, even Tales of the Empire, was in production when he took power.
Did I miss something or did the show just end without explaining why Ventress was alive, who/what the evil assassin squad were, or what was wrong with Crosshair? The last shot of Crosshair even had his hand amputated and this wasn't acknowledged by anyone
>why ventress was alive
in all fairness, its not up to this show to explain it (as it wouldve happened around a year ago in universe)
>who the evil clone squad was
I wouldve liked more detail on what they were, but im happy that they were just goons instead of some reveal that one is tech or whoever
>what was wrong with crosshair
doesnt explain directly but its definitely PTSD induced hand tremors
Nice to see the hunter and crosshair came aim for the weak points in the armor. Scorch is dead. LOLOLOLOL
>Ventress was never killed off in Clone Wars so her still being alive is a non question.
she died.
>A FRICKING BOOK
You're a dumb homosexual. It was not just a book. It is based on the scripts for TCW written with Lucas, on the episodes that never aired only because homosexuals at Disney cancelled the show so we coudl end up with garbage like rebels and trash batch. Ventress is dead, period.
>MUM Scripts
I'm sure everything you listed there was canon too. Oh wait, it's not.
>I'm sure everything you listed there was canon too.
Yes, it is. moronic homosexual. Jump off the bridge, you waste of oxygen. Your "existence" should have ended on your father's trousers.
>Some consultant
Call me when you cite someone who actually writes the show since his word is less than useless now since Ventress is clearly alive.
>Some consultant
There was a clone that had glasses among their squad...so maybe it was a storyline that got scrapped.
Also Tarkin eats it soon so chances are it gets reopened
Scorchies gonna freak! Meltdown incoming.
>Necromancer is destroyed
I'm confused, were they trying explain the ST or not?
Somehow... Hemlock's research returned.
Makes me wonder if twas planned to be them, but it would get so backlash, it just got scrapped.
Hemlocks data banks may have been erased but they never checked his flashdrive....seriously though something that important you'd kinda expect Pimpin Papa Palpatine to keep backups
Maybe Helmlock told Palpatine somewhere along the line about Omega and maybe she gets grabbed somewhere else along the line.
Nothing in the end truly justified that character's screen presence, not even the honor of killing a Bad Batch member.
>masked character shows up
>BRO WHO IS THAT
Why do Star Wars homosexuals keep doing this?
I wonder why.
But also the show is fricking moronic and needlessly hyped him up.
How did Hemlock die?
Got shot by Tarken, cold as frick move.
got gunned down by hunter and crosshair on a walkway
Now we wait for the next Clone Wars nostalgia milking show.
That one X clone with the goggle helmet was totally supposed to be tech at one point. I really feel like this wasn't supposed to be THE ending and Disney just canned the series so they restructured it to be a happy ending.
>entire 3 season show with no appearance, or mention, of ahsoka
finally.
>and it's the worst show they have produced by far
lmao
And he was a good friend.
Financially and commercially, that honor goes to the Ahsoka show.
>let's send in stormtroopers to contain the zillo beast who is fricking invincible
>NANI WTF IT WIPED OUT TWO DIVISIONS OF TROOPERS??? NOW HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED?
>all fricking commandos suddenly disappear, even though it was established that this base is full of them
>Omega does not go with the kids, for reason, Echo lets her go inside the base crawling with Imperials just after escaping
>BECAUSE SHE IS SO LE BADASS AND STRONG AND POWERFUL!
>Nala Se is rescued, of course
>Nala Se gets heroic death
>moronic Shadow Troopers don't kill bad batch for reasons
>what was in the red tubes that palpatine was checking out in ep 3? frick you!
>no one fricking died
>all those episodes with Rex, Ventress, etc were certified fricking filler
hahahahaha
>what was in the red tubes that palpatine was checking out in ep 3? frick you!
Wasn't that the clone squad?
No. The clone squad was in the conditioning room. The red tubes was in a different room with sith runes and shit. We never got to see what it was. Because frick you, that's why.
it's really obvious anon, they were test clones. very early prototypes. You can easily understand it
I think they forgot they did this. I forgot they did this lol
>Non of them thought going with Rex and help?
Echo
and Emerie if you wanna count her
Echo was loyal but even the show admits he wasn't really a Batcher. He tagged along because he felt different but he's heart was always with Rex.
hahahahahahahaha
holy shit
what a terrible fricking show
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
THIS WAS IT
HAHAHAHHAAHAHA
>only Tech actually died
>NO BALLS
Because it's a kids show.
oh go frick yourself with that bullshit
>People b***hing about Scorch getting gunned down like a jojo side villain
>This guy was a main antagonist for multiple episodes, just ends up bein a literal who and gets fodderized along with the rest of the X clones
There is absolutely no way that was the original plan for the character is there?
Sure it could be
They wanted a semi-persistent mook and decided to paint him yellow so that 00s clonegay kids would get hyped
Omega sounding the exact same she did as a child as an adult was weird
?t=86
What the frick that's just her VA's speaking voice????
LOOK INTO THE FUTURE
WHAT DO YOU SEE?
I REALLY NEED TO KNOW NOW
IS THERE A PLACE FOR ME?
She plays a bartender on this one planet in Starfield. Certainly made me do a double-take when I heard her.
should've used Emerie's VA as she's an adult now?
she'll probably get cast as her for live action
ahhahahahahahahah
fricking moronic creatives of this show
hyped up every episode on twitter like it's the hottest shit ever
only for it to end up being fricking nothingburger, EACH AND EVERY TIME
hahahahaha
holy frick this is too funny
>Reddit frog
>3 good episodes in the entire fricking show
>it didn't even have Bad Batch or only had Crosshair
lmao
>and those episode ended up never mattering
kekkimus fricking maximus
Waste of animation.
Man im disappointed the last season was so fricking weak compared to other 2 seasons or anything TCW related.
This entire show has been one massive nothingburger. I thought we were going to get a Star Wars A-Team, but instead it's more like a rejected pitch for Rebels.
It was over when they introduced Omega and made it just another babysit the kid Disney product
No one going to talk about Rampart?
Nobody cares.
he got an OH N- ending
What's to say? He was a weasel man and that got him killed
Which is pretty convenient of the clones to just...leave him unsupervised but it's the least messy way to deal with him, as opposed to the clones murdering him themselves or letting him actually escape after the shit he pulled
I mean, to the Clone's credit, they really didn't have time to baby sit him and it's not like he could sell them out without being shot on sight himself.
I'd have stunned his ass at least
I'm glad they made him a scumbag to the end, he was never going to be another Kallus.
And Kallus did more blatantly mustache twirling evil shit in comparison that didn't justify his turnaround.
Kid shows are moronic like that.
>Omega escapes
>[filler, filler, filler]
>Omega captured
>[filler, filler, filler]
>Omega escapes
>The End
>Empire never goes back to the place they captured her from just earlier to recapture her so the Bad Batch can live out their happy retirement in peace
I thought their hideout being exposed had a purpose but the Empire was just nice enough to leave alone the people who took in rebels and never return.
Couldn't have said it better.
Nala Se suicide bombing both Rampart and the data was the best part.
It was garbage. She did not deserve a heroic death. None of her crimes were mentioned. She never felt any guilt. None of it was acknowledged. That b***h is responsible for everything. Yet mary sue b***h omega likes her, ergo she is a good guy. moronic show.
delusional fivesgay
fox was right to shoot him
Post helmet
did we ever find out what was up with Rampart's gloved hand?
No. It was literally nothing. We literally know nothing about him other than he is the evil science guy. That's it. The show didn't actually develop most of its characters. This was Omega show.
where is this troon who said Scorch will not die and have a meaningful role in the story
come on
show up homosexual
the only time you were right is when they called him by his name once in episode 10, lmao
hahahahaha
Lmao you're so mad.
Bad Batch was always a bad idea. We knew this from the start and I was critical of the idea when it was first announced.
But in BB we got nothing cool or intresting let alone linking to the plot or having been a backdrop for future oh yea we did X so we know about Y or i know a guy etc etc for as an example.Generic is all we got in terms of creativity
>As if.
The beauty of TCW was how from start to finish we always got those messages and the entire arc or episode was masterfully done to encompass that without sacrificing anything,it felt mythical as a setting and very grandious while also being a good thinking pieces for viewers of all ages.I could go on and on but BB is painfully amatuer at its base and a garbage sequel bandaid at its core.
>masterfully done
Let's not crazy here. Show's okay, that's all. There's much better shit out there.
Cope all you want but TCW was an incredible passion project that was Lucas at its core and spirit and everything that made sw unique and amazing was there. An anthalogy series like that with that type of cgi and budget and structuring wasnt even a thought that one could have, let alone make it.Get your garbage contrarian buzzword of muh better X thing in my head.Unfortunately TBB only inherited the animations from that era and nothing else, very very sad.
>anthalogy series
It's not though.
moron
>Verification not required
It's not an anthology when it has a recurring cast of characters. Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are the main trio, while others occasionally get their own episodes. Plenty of shows do this and they're not considered anthologies.
It's an anthology series because it jumps around and doesn't follow a single viewpoint. There is a huge cast.
>it jumps around
It stopped doing that in the third season.
>doesn't follow a single viewpoint
Most shows don't. It's called using your characters.
Okay look ill apologize for calling you a moron but be honest and answer me this,im being honest here and am approaching you in good faith, are you am ESL,delusional, contrarian or dont exactly understand the word and concept of an anthology serie?Or maybe you shitposting with me no?
Zero self awareness. Definitely autistic.
I told you to have a nice day you subhuman sub 80 iq Black person.Dont shit the thread with your insecurity at low iq and autism and dont type to me when it doesnt concern or address your subhuman ass.
You're projecting.
It's just a cartoon for 12 years old, dude. Quit overrating it. Shit's autistic.
The only one autistic and a child here is you that dont understand SW at its core and with what Lucas set out to do and the concept of "kid medium".Wcyd.
Autistic response.
have a nice day u wretched sub 80 iq
Yeah no. TCW is all over the fricking place. It bounces between "holy shit this is actually good" and "this is unwatchable kiddie garbage".
Filterd wcys unfortunate thag you have not an ounce of creative thinking and noy realise why those kiddie garbage are there to serve a purpose for.Last reply from me to messages such as yours i wont waste my time with sub 80 iq tards who cant into critical thinking and abit of research on why X is X.Good day.
>Verification not required
2 times in a row to btfo tards
>seething so badly that you can't type properly because not everyone likes the show you grew up watching
What is deemed to be "the worst" of TCW is better than the entire Bad Batch and most of the Disney-era Star Wars. It's more entertaining and has more substance than any of that fricking crap made by the mouse.
That droid story was unironically my favorite in the show.
I love stories where you exploring a strange/surreal place, just like Another World.
Nobody remembers all the filler because they had to fill 20+ episodes. All the terrible Padme and Droid episodes.
Filtered disney troon.
Disgusting.
See you later for Tales of the Empire and Andor S2 and Mando S4 and Ahsoka S2 and Filoni film and Rey film.
Sex with the zillo beast btw
The hardcore, gritty, clone centric commando show ending with all the characters surviving is really...disappointing.
>The hardcore, gritty, clone centric commando show
lol
>tfw remember not being interested in the Bad Batch at all during the Clone Wars.
>tfw getting to watch their show be the nothing burger they felt like even back then.
Lmao
>Emerie survived
haha yes
time for porn
Echo is totally shoving that data plug up her ass and running it like an egg beater
To what end, I wonder
what can be done with this character other than a transgender allegory?
lesbian shipping with senator chuchi
>le trannies
she's literally cant be
So fellas.
What can we say actually happened in this show, as far as it comes to filling in the timeline gaps?
Palp's testing force sensitive cloning. That it?
That and the public phasing out of clones with the starting phases of stormies
Why not have the Stormtroopers be clones themselves?
Well uh, Sheev is interested in force sensitive cloning and the empire phased out clones, I guess?
Basically something something Omega's blood is necessary for Palpatine's return, she's gonna be captured in some future Mandalorian show, blah blah blah.
Which didn't even happen in the fricking show, and will be saved for more shit that makes no money.
>next season on Mando Ball G
>the Blue meanie manages to kidnap both Gogru and Omega and ship them off to planet bumfrick where they can finally clone a real Palpatine
>old ass Bad Batch, and Mando, and sexy ass Bo-Katan must rescue them
>highlights include everyone vs a Snoke
>Zillo Beast vs Mythosaur
>"tell me everything about project necromancer"
>think they're actually going to try and go into detail it
>it gets explained offscreen
>cuts back to rampart
>"ahuh that's very interesting nala se! i see how this can get me what i want in a bargain!"
>Ventress
Frick that, she should be dead right now.
What'd you expect from the writer for the Resistance cartoon?
Nice, I am so glad they elaborated on what the frick those clone operatives were.
>that one fricking operative that was a boss tier mob for a couple of episodes
>a squad of them instantly bodies the bad batch
>then they all job and die in about a minute
Lmao at Scorchgays.
If you had to use one word to review The Bad Batch in its entirety, which one would you use?
Ass.
I can't use a word. Just a sound.
Ppppppppppppppppppppppfffffffffttttt.
decent
Meandering.
Aids.
This
or some other synonym for wasting time
OMEEEEEGGGA
Pointless
All of Star Wars animation has been filler and setup for other shit. Total waste of time.
The only thing good to come out of Star Wars animation has been:
>Genndy's Clone Wars
>Obi Wan vs Maul final duel, which should have been the real Obi Wan miniseries
>Some, but not all, of the Bendu scenes; which were a refreshing contrast from the usual Space Wizard-Knight and Jedi-vs-Sith autism
>Obi Wan vs Maul final duel, which should have been the real Obi Wan miniseries
Too bad Ezra's there. At least Old Wounds exists.
>base is filled with fricking clone commandos for the entire series
>they all mysteriously vanish in the last episode
For those who read the Republic Commando novels, did this show vindicate them?
You're not going to get any answer without necromancy because they most likely hung themselves now.
>super duper top secret information that even the emperor has a personal interest in
>0 backups
A Death of Stalin style workplace comedy about Imperial politics is just what this franchise needs.
>fact Palpatine does clone himself so all of this is completely pointless.
It wasn't a successful clone, he had to use machines to keep his body alive
Oh my god they LITERALLY pulled another Knights of Ren
>group of brainwashed clones that are, barring a minor difference here or there, seem to be uniform, deadly, but ultimately disposable assassins
>Lol but actually here's a group of them given the barest donut steel'ing with stupid fricking weapons
>But don't worry, they'll still be nameless, devoid of personality, and exist just to be a final hurdle before the guy running the whole show
Because of course, if it were five or six strong marksman clone operatives, they'd have been able to shoot Rekka and Iko full of holes easily
>Theres an attack on project necromancers facility!
>What the empire needs is a fanatically powerful warrior to sort things out.
>Call in Tarkin
>Tarkin
WTF was Darth Vader doing when the project Necromancer facility was crashing? Picking uot new drapes for hs crash pad on Mustafar?
Because it's New Canon Vader. If he was there, they'd lose and die.
Palpatine just got bored and decided he wasn't interested in project necromancer anymore.
The real answer is Palpy can't be telling all the other imperial shmucks about him wanting to clone himself so thats why he has to feign ignorance and not caring.
Sheev wouldn't want Vader to know he plans to clone himself and live forever. He's knows that Anakin's only reason for still sticking around him is his cope that he will eventually succeed the emperor, so if he learned that's not the case he would go ballistic.
>show off Scorch for multiple seasons
>end up doing nothing with him and just killing him off
All I wanted out of Bad Batch after the introduction of the other Commandos was some kind of perspective of them or even slight focus on them. Instead the literal reason for the concept of a bunch of commando clones are just treated like generic stormtroopers.
lmao
She got them crazy eyes.
>Hey RC sweeties, don't worry Scorch will have more screentime
>Oh we're also going to kill him off with zero fanfare
>Suck my toes
This will need to be updated.
No you don't get it, Dave Filoni's commandos are the only ones that get to be competent, anything that's not personally made in his fan fiction is bullshit and doesn't count.
>No you don't get it, Dave Filoni's commandos are the only ones that get to be competent
Really? They sucked just as much. This entire show sucked.
Anon your example in your webm is Filoni's fan fic waifu
Who the frick is?
that's a Mandolorian character. I looked it up and her name is Fennec Shand.
Bootleg Zam.
I guess you could say, it was quite the Bad Batch of seasons.
>“Well, for ‘The Bad Batch’, you'll be seeing Scorch more. But, as for other Republican Commandos, I can't really say. But you know, there are so many stories to tell in Star Wars. So I'd say nothing's out of the realm of possibility for future content.”
hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahaha
>keep focusing on crosshair's shaking hand all season
>only reason for it is "idk he's scared I guess?"
A writer read a Wikipedia article about PTSD but the writers aren't smart enough to cover a topic like that in kids show.
We had a full blown panic attack in Puss in Boots. It can be done.
Well getting his hand chopped off certainly fixed that.
>still haven't set up how the frick rex ends up with wolfe, or said anything about cody
Oh boy I can't wait for the "Tales of the Clones from the Clone Wars featuring the Bad Batch" show announcement.
Imma be honest.
This ending felt disappointing and a waste.
No answer.
-We found out other Kaminoans were survived.
No answer.
>Omega fricked The Bad Batch
Boy, I wish!
The Bad Batch were always just your cliche kid cartoon squad. You weren't gonna get dark and gritty with those buttholes.
Probably why my favourite episodes (and some of the only ones I actually remember) are the Crosshair ones from S2.
>Hunta is the SERIOUS one!
>Wrecka is DUMB and STRONG!
>Tick is SMART and talks in technobabble!
>Who's Echo? Oh him! He's offscreen doing missios!
>entire base of clone commandos
>they just magically disappear
ahhahadhasdhjashdjashdkjasdkjahkjsdhkjasdhadhahdhadh
this was so shit
it's fricking laughable how fricking shit this was
I'm going assume the writers logic is they all died fighting the Zillo beast, which is beyond moron that the empire didn't even have any other means to counter the Zillo other than means that we fricking saw didn't work in the clone wars. Why would they not just rig the containment chamber for the thing with the gas that worked in the show?
Their shift was over so they went home.
Even though I had a lot of problems with this show, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss it. I wonder what will be the next animated series after tales of the empire.
I bet it's going to shift fully into High Republic.
I wouldn't miss it. I wish I could forget it sooner. I need a palette cleanser from this garbage. Gonna go play Republic Commando.
>Tales of Rex ending up on Desert Shithole
Tales of Rex: the Quest to Buy D. Bradley Baker another yacht.
Don't voice actors get paid peanuts?
He voices every clone on-screen. That's a lot of peanuts.
you don't get paid by the character
I'm convinced Filoni doesn't know how to direct something that shows Rex getting super cucked that resulted in him being a hobo in the desert.
Any story with clones fighting against the empire will end badly because we know how it ends and who's left. It might be too depressing for a "kids" show.
I was edgy as frick as a kid and was into dark and depressing stuff.
Are modern kids soft?
>Are modern kids soft?
Frick no. But Hollywood thinks they are.
As long as the head writers of the shows are women with no balls, the show as well will have no balls.
It's more Hunter learning to let Omega go and do her own thing.
It's a shame we don't get to see timeskip wrecker and crosshair.
Also they never did explain what happened to crosshair's chip.
>It's more Hunter learning to let Omega go and do her own thing.
Except he spent the whole show watching Omega come into her own. Nobody gives a shit about him waving her goodbye.
If you ever had a kid, which no one on Cinemaphile should, you'd know there's a difference between seeing your kid grow up, and the moment you actually have to see them off.
And I'm telling you that's a garbage scene to end this series on, because it is utterly meaningless for us as the audience and isn't a real 'story' in the context of what a scene might be about.
That's just your opinion
The season finale would have been more impactful if Crosshair and Wrecker died. It would make Hunters concern for Omega leaving more justified since shes all he has other than Echo whose off doing his own thing.
I for one am satisfied we got a happy ending for once. Aside from Tech everyone got a happy ending, and with so much media being bleak and cynical it's nice to have something hopeful. They were soldiers who spent their entire lives fighting and they finally got to stop and live life. It's a nice sentiment.
Get higher standards.
And you should learn to enjoy things as they are. Not everything has to be a 10/10 masterpiece. Bad Batch had amazing CG and set pieces. Some shots looked literal art pieces. TCW was better but Bad Batch was still pretty good.
>Bad Batch had amazing CG and set pieces. Some shots looked literal art pieces
IE all style, no substance. "It looked pretty so it's good."
>And you should learn to enjoy things as they are
I don't have to tolerate nonsense. If something sucks, it sucks. End of story.
Nah brotha yoy are 100% correct on the animation and art but the story and this entire run was a colossal waste of time and the show beinh sequel band aid is a diservice to it and doomed it to garbage. Its not about being bad its about failing the show and exploding a mine that was full of gold for no reason.
The ending isn't the problem (at least not a big problem). The real problem is this show took 50 episodes to get there.
This show could have told the same story in half the amount of episodes.
>it feels more like the start of a fanfic than it does an actual ending or epilogue.
Omega's existence is fanfic shit.
Dont think we will get anything new or even news about anything new for some time tho its probably gonna be almost same time sphere as TBB,id be mindblown if they hit us with prequel time show tho regardless of TCW.
despite
>using his non dominant hand
>in his current state
>after being tortured
crosshair hit the shot he needed
I liked it.
We're all just waiting for Andor S2 at this point
Don't you worry they're going find a way to frick up Andor also. I can't wait for Luthen to be revealed to be secretly a jedi and his stupid staff was a light saber all along.
It's the final season and that shit was already fully written before S1 even premiered.
It's already been confirmed that Andor S2 got a lot of rewrites to include more Leia scenes.
Who's playing her?
Same technology as the cameo in Rogue One.
Just recast the role. Who gives a shit but the most autistic of fans?
They did, though?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingvild_Deila
Not as a stand-in, but to actually play the character. Face and all.
>Already been confirmed
By my butthole
Where are the aliens?
They'll probably announce the next animation project at Star Wars Celebration this week which is why they rushed out episodes some weeks. Be it the Clone Rebellion, Omega's time in the Rebellion, or something new in the High Republic. They can't waste this animation style.
IE this show was just setup for more bullshit, nothing more. Rinse and repeat.
Thank God there is a point where Star Wars will no longer be ruined for me.
>pls keep subbing to d+ you like star wars right?
Isn't the High Republic DOA? I saw they released some books but it doesn't seem to have had either high readership or anything
Because nobody cares about the period where nothing fricking happens. The most interesting shit happens before the Republic is established, and within Episode I's timeframe and beyond.
They're literally releasing a TV show set in that era next month
And it's going flop hard
It's a bit of a darkhorse, it doesn't involve Favreau or Filoni but the showrunner did create Russian Doll S1 which wss a hit. I mean people said X-Men 97 and Fallout would be DOA too but then those went on to become hits.
It's gonna be crap.
X-Men and Fallout have nostalgia behind them along with an established audience. The high republic has neither of those other than just being star wars adjacent.
And it takes place in the most boring era of Star Wars.
>Star Wars Celebration this week
Star Wars Celebration is in Japan next year, did you mean the May 4th announcement
I won't watch more Omega shit. And I won't watch anything with this b***h at the helm
What the frick was S2? I genuinely don't remember anything except
>cody and crosshair episode
>crosshair and mayday episode
>tech death
I'd say all that and the cloned zilobeast were probably the main takeaways from season 2.
And now the cloned zilobeast has been just forgotten now. Whatever the hell Palpatines intentions for it were are just going be forgotten and now the things just running around on the planet its on.
Alright fellas, rate all the animated shows finales
For me
The Clone Wars > Tales of the Jedi > Bad Batch > Rebels
The Clone Wars
Tales of the Jedi
Genndy Clone Wars

Rebels
Forces of Destiny

Resistance
Bad Batch
we need a bad batch edit of that picture
is there a template version?
No, we don't. No, there is no template. Go ask delusional fujos on twitter, homosexual.
cant really rank ToTJ because its just some shorts, and nobody watched resistance
but
Bad Batch>Rebels>TCW
TCW ending was shit filoni OC wank that appeals to gays who think TCW is a "dark and gritty" show
hahahahhahahaha
ventresstroon
you never cease to amaze me
You do realise the main writer of resistance did BB too,why you think the low quality in terms of writing?
So why did the Empire blow up Kamino? Wouldn't it make more sense to occupy and blockade the planet? It had literal cities built across the planet dedicated to cloning.
Mount Tantiss was a single tiny ass mountain by comparison.
Because they wanted to do a lame cover up plotline for no good reason.
The whole thing was that the Emperor wanted to phase out the clones for more loyal soldiers. Did you even watch the show?
You know Omega will appear in the Mandoverse because Filoni can't help himself.
>There were people who thought they were actually gonna do something meaningful with Republic Commandos
Lol
Lmao even
More like the clone rebellion or uprising shit. The entire tex team where like less then 10 soldiers and outside of wolfie we barely got much clone troopers or even mixed squads of recruits and clones.
>samegayging and mass replying every single one of my messages even tho none address him
Mind broke the subhuman wcyd, seethe and rope before my rent free in your head kills you first.Dont be sad over others knowing who you are
Whatever helps you sleep at night, freak.
>Watch post credits scene
>It's another here's a bunch of character's you'd assume die some point during the original trilogy, hide off screen for the entire trilogy to survive ending.
Why do these these threads always get the crazies?
You'd have to be crazy to still care about Star Wars after all these years
Well Cinemaphile? Was it bad or only mediocre as usual?
Generally just mediocre, bad in the sense it feels like almost nothing happened within those 3 seasons they had.
Terribad.
Man the clone x squad was cool looking.
I would have prefered a downer ending but this was nice. They actually have a credible answer on why the batch isn’t here in other medias : they literally can’t fight anymore
>Crosshair, a sniper, only has one hand and has issues shooting
>Wrecker, a tank, took so much damages his body is too fricked
>hunter, a tracker, no longer can move freely and has a big limp
And by the OT, their prosthetics have fake skin to make it look more real.
So what the frick happened to her ? b***h survived Kamino and saw Crosshair killing her squad.
Did Rempart killed her to keep her quiet ?
Not important. Another irrelevant, pointless loose thread. The series is full of them. All that matters is omega b***h.
I hope omega will kill the trandoshan b***h
I remember that when Scorch first appeared, the official site said something about his colours being an homage to the character, as if it wasn't originally supposed to be Scorch himself. I wish they'd stuck with that.
So did they ever explain what Omega'a origins were?
Who is she a clone of?
Some other bounty hunter?
moron-kun... She's just a female Jango Fett clone. Kaminoans are just masters of genetic manipulation so they made a female version of Fett.
>moron-kun... She's just a female Jango Fett clone
Wait what? Since when?
I legit thought she was a Clone of someone else.
Like the Kaminoans tested a bunch of bounty hunters before settling on Jango Fett.
I thought Omega was a leftover prototype.
Maybe a female Mandalorian clone or something.
did you miss the whole part in season 1(?) where they talked about Boba whose codename was Alpha, while also referring about/to Omega and the whole Jango project as a whole?
>something something Alpha has gone rogue/missing and all we have is Omega in terms of remaining unaltered Jango DNA
>Since when?
since the very first episode
She's an unaltered clone of Jango Fett.
Ignore the fact that she's female so that means there was some tampering.
Jango near-clone with a duplicated X chromosome instead of XY pair
Was he a good vilain?
No, lol. We barely learned anything about him, and he ended up being a huge moron in the end.
Scorchbros....
WE'RE NOT DONE YET
WE'RE BACK DELTABROS
>Clearly a commando
>Armor isn't pure white
>Black markings in the same spots Scorch has his
HOPE RIDES ALONE
Thought it was a good ending. Everyone expected a tragic ending with Omega being the sole survivor, but once again, expectations were subverted.
Rest in Peace, Scorch.
scorch is alive
Real Scorch is alive, yes. It's in the Republic Commando novels.
see
hes alive
>no vader
>no inquisitor
>no ahsoka
>no rex
>no legacy character besides tarkin
the finale focusing on the shows own characters is a good thing
>no stakes
>no consequences
>no impact
>lazy writing
>shitting on legacy characters for no reason
>But it's le good!
Are you disabled? If Rex was not going to be a part of the finale, why make him a part of the fricking show at ALL? What was his fricking point?
wow, you gaylords are dumb as shit, it's impressive
Oh, I know why they did that. Because the show is GARBAGE, and they baited people into watching it by including characters people ACTUALLY LIKED.
>no stakes or consequences
>nothing was revealed or elaborated on it was just "bang bang pew pew" for 40 minutes
Satisfying ending all things considered. solid 7/10 ending.
I just hope Omega isn't made to be a constantly recurring character like Ashoka. But it's a nice finale.
>scorch being present in 3 seasons only to be shot down like a dog, again
>No rex, cody or wolfe
>riddicoulous bad batch plot armor
>Zillo beast deus ex machine to get rid off all TK troopers
>we have preatorians at home
At least Echo was given proper respect and being MVP while proving why he was ARC trooper after all.
Now I'm 100% sure that there will be Rex and Echo series along with Omega in the new mandalorian movie.
So why Scorch? It's not like a large % of viewers even know who he is, so why bring him in and make him generic Clone Commando #6029.
Because they need to shit on something people loved to prop their own thing.
>I think also that Lucasfilm wants to demonstrate how the Bad Batch has surpassed the original Delta Squad.
Frick outta here.
>Of all the Delta Squad commandos, Scorch was Filoni’s favorite.
Source? IDK, it's a pretty big shift in Filoni's attitude towards them.
Filoni back then (2013):
>Q: Are you going to introduce Delta Squad from the Republic Commando video game?
?si=iZA7qgwh0eDv6yzp&t=166
>what we got in Bad Batch
So, who's to blame, really? Filoni, of course, responsible for not giving enough of a shit and not tard wrangling his underlings. The biggest blame is on the head writer
and supervising director Brad Rau.
Frick off.
>thinking she is going to be generic Rebel pilot #40189
She will be leading OMEGA SQUADRON which will be one of the most elite squadrons in tha Rebel Alliance, but never was at any of the major battles in the OT because she was "busy doing important missions" offscreen.
>but never was at any of the major battles in the OT because she was "busy doing important missions" offscreen.
Fricking hell.
>and the Bad Batch were on standby the whole time
Hunter was limping even after the time skip.
Yes.
Head writer: Jennifer Corbett.
See:
This shitshow is peak womanshit. Just go on twitter. It's all moronic women and tumblr refugees shitting themselves over it.
>It's all moronic women and tumblr refugees shitting themselves over it.
Same with Rebels.
>just go to the site where women are more likely to be vocal about their fandoms than men
hmm
>Was this show written by a woman?
Yeah. Same chick who wrote the Resistance cartoon that nobody watched.
>head writer is a woman
Yeah there isn't a drop of masculinity in this show.
1. Omega getting abducted but also being the super important girl and key to everything
2. Her Bad Batch Daddies always come to rescue her
3. Everyone is focused on Omega even before the Empire is after her.
4. She is the voice of reason
5. Bad Batch raise her
Honestly it would have been cooler if the Bad Batch just found an Orphan girl and trained her instead. She didn't need to be related to them.
>rampart tried to take the data for himself to ransom back to the Empire
>"The data does not belong to you/the Empire, it is Kaminoan."
just a throwaway line at the end of Nala Se's life but I liked how she remained loyal to her people to the end, and how it shows the way they think of their research
reminder that the lead writer is an ex-US navy officer
I will don’t understand why scorch was in this show. You honestly could have fixer be in the role he was the cold one.
I haven’t bothered keeping up on other websites but surely delta and commando gays have been utterly destroyed by this show right?
The show basically killed the last paypig audience Disney had. Utterly shat all over clone troopers.
>Utterly shat all over clone troopers.
And pretty much made everything related to them pointless. Frick these cartoons.
>I did not complain about the chips, in fact I even defended the decision
Ah, a moron. Jolly good.
Commando gays are committing suicide and even stating Disney ordered thier jobbing
The show has basically made the more hardcore clonebrain homosexuals go mental. A lot of them even stating they made clones woke.
Its bad
You could say it’s a bad batch
So what happened to all the Kaminoans the Empire removed from Kamino?
either on one of the other mountains on tantiss, in prison cells somewhere, or dead
somehow the kaminoans will return on some other forgotten base they set up somewhere
Was it all just to solidify TFU2 as noncanon?
disneyfilms not keeping it in the canon in 2014 solidified that moron
The EU never really took TFU seriously.
In prison offscreen or executed offscreen.
>I've been in that mountain. If we all go in, we're all not making it out!
>They all make it out.
hes just a doomposter
This show is all build up and wiener tease, but no payoff.
>We are all gonna die!
>We all go in, we are not making it out!
>[insert 500000000 tweets by the b***h writer, composers and other creatives about how we are literally gonna die of sadness, BATCHNATION HOW R WE HOLDING UP?]
>nothing happens
Absolute garbage. Fricking embarrassing.
we're supposed to be wracked with sadness about nala se's death
Why?
I sure all 5 xeno coomers for the kaminoians are crying
You are correct in that assessment.
I loved this slow talking, puppy dog eye having, mad scientist experimenting tall alien b***h like you wouldn't believe.
At least she went out killing that b***h homie Rampart.
>go into buisness with Lord Tyrant of Murder Mountain
>be surprised when it goes badly for you
Earned their fate.
I know for sure that I am.
Rest in science, ebil cloner ayylium babe.
>seen a bunch of """people""" saying how the finale brought them to tears
A significant portion of the SW fandom is definitely overly emtional maladjusted adults.
No shit.
He was right.
It's not Star Wars. Any parent/child stuff is enough to bring me to tears these days. You might get it eventually.
Bummed over how they handled Scorch. Maybe I should be glad there's no Imperial Commando game under Disney
>A clone wars cartoon was utterly ruined because they needed to explain and support why palpatine came back
LMAO
This show would've worked much better as a miniseries or something. Self contained, no Omega, Clone Force 99 stays in the empire longer, and a final showdown with Delta Squad when they defect if they want to go balls deep in fan service. Probably a open ending but idk about that.
Is there any renders yet for the Clone X squad? they really looks cool.
>People fairly expected Clone X to be someone.
>Clone X turned out just to be a new member of the long list of please buy our toys, characters.
>didn't expect clone x to be anyone
>but expected them to actually elaborate on what they are beyond "lmao yeah they got conditioned"
>they all jobbed and died
>never learn anything
Bravo Lucasfilm.
It's clearly a red heering, especially with the designs of each members, or that they keep losing their helmet during the fight
I expected one to be tech but for the bach to not recognize him at all.
First time?
I do love their design so I might actually get a toy kek
You'll see them again in 3 days!
>They ruined bad batch
>They ruined gregor
>They will now ruin her
TCW fanboys how you feelin?
She has already been ruined.
aren't they supposed to be a one squad only? Couldn't this be just be a lighting issue
Clearly the morons we'd seen in TBB were a prototype that was proven effective and they then made more of these frickers. Only we never seen them in TBB for some reason, but who cares about that shit show. Although I wish they'd finally make an animated version of paratroopers/purge troopers.
From what I remember they were essentially clone trooper prototypes before they even had the early clone trooper armor.
>refurbish mk 2 clone armor and paint it black
>let em learn from a clone trooper commander
>within a handful of episodes later they're never seen again as stormtroopers are rolled out.
>Most of the regular grunts were obedient and quiet by design and nature
Because AotC said they were. ARC Troopers and Commandos were a way to give certain clones character.
Yeah but frankly the brainless Sith golems weren't really as interesting so I preffer the modern interpretation of clones.
>Yeah but frankly the brainless Sith golems weren't really as interesting
Which is why ARC Troopers and Commandos were a thing. To give them character.
Its kinda muddled before but in Revenge of the Sith the first clone you meet calls himself Oddball who also shows up in TCW.
He wasn't a grunt though.
Yeah he was a captain right? I kinda think that is better the higher officers have free will but only a couple grunts who show it are promoted.
>Yeah he was a captain right?
No, a commander.
Is there any juicy commando fan outrage posts?
Opinion on the TK-troopers?
It's a bit ironic how they, just like the clones, probably ended up being replaced by the actual stormtroopers.
Ugly motherfrickers.
wasn't the explanation is that they deliberatly were given a lot less ressources/budget for their equipement since most of the big roles still were kept by clone troopers? We don't see any TK commanders ,just regular troopers and shock troopers.
I assume they had to wait for most clones to lose their commanding roles before rolling out the full stormtroopers. With the former TK teaching them just like how clones teached the TKs.
TKs ARE stormtroopers, Palpatine literally refers to them as such in the senate meeting.
They are both : they are named stormtrooper but they often were called "TK troopers".
They are more or less the alpha test of stormtroopers https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TK_stormtrooper
They never used that P3 design in anything but TFU, and it wasn't even in the version for Xbox 360 and PS3. Damn shame.
Only way to be faithful is
>everyone of them are 501st Clone troopers
>they never break rank fully loyal to Anakin/Vader
>only when some die are the best of the best stormtroopers moved into them
>Vader and the 501st arent even given specific orders, they show up where the fightings the worst and decimate the enemies of the empire and move on
Its kinda odd how the 501st started as this fannon group but then became Vaders absolute best.
Doesnt Appo stay in charge in the comics?
They wasted Rex on Ahsoka.
This final episode could have been a great episode to showcase them in that light
>have dozens of escaped Clones fighting the skeletal remains of Hemlocks forces
>BB and a few others escape but many are left behind fighting
>instead of Tarkin have it be Vader and the 501st
>mow down the escaped clones
>kill a couple were bears from outside
>then take down the zillobeast
>Vader strolls out "tell the Emperor his precious pet is dead"
>level the base from orbit to make sure no one else can use 8t
holy fanfic
It's accurate to Vader.
>But they chose to circlejerk McQuarrie's ugly ass design.
There's a reason why his shit went unused. Needlesabers are ass too.
I like them but I hate that the morons at hasbro will wait like 2 years before they make toys of them
Well, see you guys next week i guess
anon I...
Wait what i thought tales is exactly one week from now but turns out its in 3 days
You mean on Saturday. After that - that's it for a while. Thankfully.
>rescue all those force sensitive kids
>Vader nor any of the inquisition ever shows up on the island retreat to tear someone a new butthole and find out where they are.
That's another thing, you can't establish that the Empires force sensitive blood hounds are so successful that untrained force sensitives are mind bogglingly rare then turn around and free multiple force sensitive kids and never see any repercussions
Especially since they should very fricking active at this point as Soule's Vader run depicts.
The entire show was a red herring. It made us think something would happen when really, nothing happens.
The show still had a lot of cool designs at least
I haven't watched this season at all, did Omega at least get cuter?
she gets older in an epilogue if that counts
So, what the frick was supposed to be "bittersweet" about this? Bitter as in the show was fricking shit and sweet that it is finally fricking over?
The Bad Batch became american war vets living out the rest of their days on Pabu off of disability checks
Any cute 'Meegas in this episode?
No, she hit the wall
>a bunch of frickers literally frick up a super secret Imperial military facility that was of personal interest to the Emperor
>kill gazillion of Imperial personnel and troopers
>killed Hemlock
>freed the prisoners
>they retire to fricking Pabu that the Empire knows of
>the Empire never bothers checking
>the Empire never punished them for fricking KILLING THEIR FRICKING PEOPLE AND FRICKING UP THEIR BASE
>they just forgot about them and forgave them, because, ugh, Tarkin said so!
lmao ahhadasjdjahdjadkjajahahahhahahahaha
this is rebels tier moronation when the Empire didn't frick up Lothal after they overthrew Imperial government and had Thrawn and his fleet go missing (or killed, as far as the Empire knew)
fricking hilarious
imagine if someone were to go frick up a US military base, kill a bunch of people, and then fricked off and not be dead within the next hour
fricking hilarious mate, hahahahha
This is so fricking moronic. I can't even. What a gay ass, garbage ending for a gay ass, garbage show.
anyone can just go kill gazillion Imperials and nothing will happen to them, kek
only hemlocks forces knew about pabu so with his shit gone, the empire wouldnt know the batch would go there
Was about those on that Coruscant space station that inputs the coordinates for Tantiss? It's foolish for information on Hemlock's shit to be kept only by him.
Remember, the whole reason Scorch got "confirmed" in season 2 was because fans went loopy over him not being confirmed in season 1, I uniroincally believe they're going to make a post saying "Hey look Scorch isn't dead guys, please don't rape us" in response to the angry fans over this, it would still be a shitshow but I'd get my laughs in.
if current star wars was good they'd introduce boba fett's equally strong clone brother called liquid fett
>finale has MGS3 ladder and MGS1 torture scene
they know
That'd be fresh and original actually
Fordo would have KILLED the Bad Botch btw
Fordo and Alpha-17 are literally too based for Disney Wars
I hate how bad batch has actually turned me into a TCW 2008 hater now. I cant stand them turning clones into utter losers and sissies just bring them back to this.
You are moronic then. The two shows couldn't be more different. Bad Batch is written by a woman and has nothing for male fans to latch onto. TCW clones are completely different from bat b***hes clones, who want to fricking retire and sit on their asses and do nothing. Clone Force 99 is an embarrassment to the GAR.
the war's over when bad batch starts grandpa
They are just selfish pieces of shit. They didn't give a shit about anything for the entire show, except MUH OMEGAH. It was Rex who kept fighting, risking his life for his brothers, and established clone underground off-screen. And he remained off-screens. These sad frickers just wanted to frick off and never be bothered. With their skills, with their experience, they just wanted to frick off, instead of putting them to good use. This is honestly such a shitty show. What is even the point? This is neither heroic nor interesting. Just a bunch of sad fricks want to retire. This isn't a story. This isn't inspiring. What is the point?
>w-with great power comes gre-ACK
Shut the frick up. They don't have to fight if they don't want to, moron.
It's okay if they don't want to. But this isn't a story. It's garbage. It doesn't deserve to be animated. Okay, they retired, the end. Whatever. Show me what Rex is doing, because he is doing shti that is actually important, has stakes and consequences beyond fricking HIMSELF and that shitty little mary sue. moron.
Even a random ARC trooper from Genndy Wars could solo them.
Blue ball: the show. All we fricking get is scorch being dead too. So much for an imperial Commando game now.
So much for ANY kind of Delta Squad story, best we can hope for is a story set in the clone wars/end of clone wars that gives Scorch some development.
HEMLOCK INCOMPETENT moron!
I completely disagree. Hemlock was actually a breath of fresh air as far as villains go. Everything he did was strategically sound and he reacted calmly and logically when everything fell apart around him.
I'd say he was definitely up there in my top 5 favorite Star Wars characters.
lol
>send two divisions of troopers to fight zillo beast for some reason
>even though he knows zillo beast is invincible to blaster fire
>don't guard the data banks
>don't have backups
>don't guard the prison cells
>don't kill bad batch for some reason when everything is at stake
He is a moron. Just like Thrawn. He shits his pants, but he is calm, and shitting himself was actually a part of his plan all along.
The whole Zillo Beast thing is actually a pretty good point, though there really wasn't many options when it came to that.
>waste troopers to contain Zeelo even he suppose to know it's immune to blasters
>didn't authorise starfighters sorties to shot down any possible escapy
>didn't step over his ego and called for back-up (arguably positive)
>didn't call for more commandos for escort beside scorch, and SLOWLY WALKED on bridge instead, like walking fast
>didn't backed up his data
>DIDN'T BACKED UP HIS DATA
>didn't killed off force 99 just to be safe (alright, i can let it slide)
>had just one lazer in zeelo containment instead of multiple
>didn't shot at crosshair and hunter on bridge, though he can guess they would shot back or else they hurt omega (that's one is also arguable)
Hemlock showed himself as fricking moron in this episode. Also
>didn't (sleep) gas clone-troopers in they cells just to be safe
um commando bros? Vode an? What happened?
Garbage ending with no stakes, garbage random powerbuffs for heros, and powerdebuffs for "villains".
I will be Tie pilot who will shot Omeega down.
I don't get why they picked Scorch specifically and not someone more stoic like Boss. His show personality doesn't fit his game's version.
>Science project needs commandos
>Here doctor I have 3 commandos maybe 4 I dont know if thats canon shut up
>Would you like
>The stoic leader of the group who follows orders and knows how to finish it?
>His by the books second in command who has a interest in technology
>An explosives specialist known for insubordination
>Yeah give me the yellow one his backpack is cool
I haven't read the novels, give me a quick rundown
The books suck hes talking about the events after the game. Scorch is pissed they left Sev behind and becomes very dark over it.
Novels are not canon. Even the game is not canon. For all we know, Sev never went missing. The show never established any context. "Scorch" in the show is a generic henchman with no personality, no history, no characterization, with no ties to Delta Squad. Anyone responsible for that should get assraped.
>with no ties to Delta Squad
Clone Wars season 3
Are you stupid? The show BAD BATCH never mentioned his connection to Delta Squad. It never mentioned Delta Squad. It never established context for Scorch's behavior. It never established his history. He is completely interchangeable with any generic commando. Nothing that makes his Scorch was acknowledged by the show THE BAD BATCH: not his history, not his personality, not his specialization, nothing.
>He's literally working for a brain washing scumbag
you're surprised
The only cope explanation people give for such a personality turn is either the chips or hes actually very pissed off about Sev
They genuinely dont care its that simple
They didnt include
>Scorch do you still have the data chip?
>Yeah..yeah I still got it they beat me up real good for it but I hid it in a place they wouldnt find...
Don't worry guys, that Scorch was falling over to my head, so i catch him with force, and heal his wounds, with the force. Now he is part of my crew, totally consensually, naturally, i just need to wait when he wake up to tell him that.
Also, i copied Hemlock data just before some weird allien show up, i wonder what i will do with it.
>you lived to see Karen Travissty vindicated because someone actually treated the Commandos worse than her fanfiction
What a time to be alive
Why the frick did they kill my wife
She single-handedly set back Imperial science by at least twenty years.
She was an hero but it's too unfair for only her to die while useless shits like wrecker got to survive
Wrecker was the team tank. He was the heart outside of Omega. If he had died it would have taken the tone down worse than Tech.
I was expecting him to be brainwashed like one of those soldiers.
Like I said I think this entire episode was guided by Focus Group. They probably did originally have a dark ending.
This definitely feels like a finale by Focus group.
There's a few threads here that got squandered.
Tech glasses on one of the nameless that gets owned...
Scorch getting owned...
Necromancer being scrapped yet somehow not so in the end...
Cutting off Crosshair's hand...that was kind of out of nowhere...
Bad Batch stays on Pabu through out New Hope?
Rex is off on a desert tour with Wolfe and Gregor?
Bad Batch seem to have saved more clones than Rex.
>Cutting off Crosshair's hand...that was kind of out of nowhere...
Inclusivity. Echo get his hand, therefore someone need to lose it.
I mean I guess it raised the drama of OH NO HES GONNA MISS HIS SHOT AND TAKE HER OUT INSTEAD OF THE CUFF but overall not really a point to it.
Why wasnt Echo ever given a new hand in a universe full of robot hands?
Having a soldier with a screwdriver for a hand to do droid work in a galaxy with trillions of droids is much more important than a soldier with two hands.
Yeah but they could have easily given him a hand that pops right over it and works.
Even the toy had it
>Why wasnt Echo ever given a new hand in a universe full of robot hands?
All they really need is one like K2-SO's, which has a jack that pops out from above the wrist.
3rd season such a shitshow
>one of the commandos has tech like goggles
>a whole scene is dedicated to said commando retrieving the helmet and putting it back on
>gets immediately smashed into a wall and then everyone just magically leaves
Episode genuinely feels like it got absolutely taken apart on the cutting room floor.
>no cute meega screenshots
One job
Why are they still using blue bolts which is used against droids
Bolt colour doesn't actually mean anything for its effect in combat anymore, it's basically like tracer colours with bullets, with different compositions being available to make it easier to tell whose shots they are. Red is the most common because... it's the most common, and is thus the cheapest to use.
What I played battlefront 2 a couple of years ago and it did
Wasted potential the show.
Because Tarkin is a scumbag who wanted his projects to get funded and take credit all along.
the woman tarkin talks to clearly has the ability to fully shut down the entire planet's use, so sending the funding they would be getting to some other project should be easy for her
is that the chick from Obiwan?
no, its captain bragg
a character who was in seasons 1 and 2
>he could have made a personal jibe at Hemlock
He did
New thread when?
Page 10, as always.
Why? This thread has reached conclusion that it sucked. Anything else will be you moronic homosexuals just circlejerking.
It's funny because Scorch's 'death' was done in such a way you can just tell he actually lived the moment he fell over
This is as embarrassing as Techtards coping that he also lived. Just shut the frick up. I'd rather be honest and say that I fricked Jennifer Corbett's mother on the back of her father, instead of doing this copium bullshit.
Yeah bro, he totally fricking lived. Frick off.
>Gregor took the same amount of shots in season 1 and lived
>Hunter fell from the same height in season 1 and was fine
Yea if they reverse Scorch's death because fans are pissed I won't be surprised.
The only commando fanservice and nostalgia mementos came from the sound design guy who also worked and did the vidya too.
they released some new character posters if anyone cares
Does anybody have a mega with all three seasons? i've been holding off watching until it ends.
It's not worth it.
The most jarring thing for me is how much the batchers got nerfed and jobbed compared to their debut episode and possibly their kashyyk arc.
>Verification not required
>tech didnt show up
Genuinely shocked, since when does Filoni have any restraint?
hit page 10 already so I made a 2nd thread
Thank you for it
