This design is great, but it doesn't fit Vox's character on the show. This guy would make a great villain on some 2000's villain of the week cartoon.

Its because he has a deep voice that sounds like it belongs to a big dude. Plus, many bartender/tavern keeper characters are chunky and the show is lacking in character body variety. Not even a diversitygay but every character in Vivzie works being a stick figure except for like Mammon is one of the most common criticisms even people here have of it.
Some of the fatter Husk redesigns are alright, unlike every dog shit Vox and Alastor redesign.

pretty much hit the nail on the head, but I'd also add that there's a trope for "fat, grouchy cat." Y'know, like Garfield.

Husk actually looks great and I do like what they did with Angel's eyes but the others are hot GARBAGE. Alastor's face is way too human and the color scheme is...ew.
Vaggie's just very cluttered around the head, there's so much going on(all the parts of her hair, the eypatch and X-symbol, the earrings, the bow, the antennae). Charlie looks no different besides the stupid ears, so I don't even see the point.
