A prosecutor claiming s knife was “rare” and then a jury member brings one in?
Possibly a violation of court rules, but prosecutors routinely lie or present misleading evidence, and courts are hardly free from bias.

Subverts expectations. You're expecting a horror movie, or alien encounter movie- and it turns into a fricking interdimensional Kaiju movie, about not trusting animalistic people.
It was quite literally a monster movie with a black - anti-Black person message. Fricking KINO as frick, frick you.

good try bro but trolling isn't your thing

Not trolling, Alien is an absolute master piece in environment and horror.
Tank Girl perfectly captures the essential goofy action 90s movie when the US was the only world power for a solid decade.

I've never seen babadook, but it made money, capitalism isn't wrong.

You are absolutely correct, which is why I explained what it subverted your expectations to. It went from basic spooky movie b/s to something that had deeper meaning, writing, and action. Very entertaining, fun, and lulz no one safe.

That's a little bit better but you're still not getting your troll on yet, missing a key piece I'd say

Nope is the best movie made in the last 10 years.
            - You know I was gonna say that as a troll post, but I'm thinking right now. With all the Marvel movies and shit, how many original movies have come out in the last 10 years.

Nerds over reacted. The real flaws are that George wrote them backwards and had an ending and about 1 film's worth of plot and made 2 filler films. That's why the films are filled with side-quest nonsense, entire planets that don't matter, fetch quests, characters talking while sitting down, talking in hallways, etc. Very little of the story matters (naboo, the clone wars, etc are irrelevant). Anakin doesn't DO anything until he saves Palps and kills Mace Windex which is like halfway through the third film.

If George had made a "trilogy" that was:
      >1 Anakin flashback film (Revenge of the Sith)
      >1 Luke Skywalker sequel about Jedi temple, and the new republic
      >1 old film about the old Republic and the original Jedi like 1000 years ago (before everyone had blasters)

      Jarhead
      Full Metal Jacket
      Platoon
      Apocalypse Now
      Spiderman 2
These are just some movies I like. I don't watch movies just because ni/tv/ggers say they're amazing.

            No.
Kevin Costner was the better Wyatt.
‘Wyatt Earp’ was also better as far as cinematography and individual scenes.
Both films had excellent Doc Holidays.
‘Tombstone’ looked more like a TV film.
‘Wyatt Earp’ looked more like something shot for Imax.
‘Wyatt Earp’ was also better at showing Wyatt Earp’s flaws.

There is no such thing as objectively perfect taste. Movie tastes are a completely subjective opinion and anyone ITT shaming others for enjoying certain movies are midwits who just want to come off as intellectually superior patricians.

      >You know all of these are bait lists when none of them have The Matrix, Transformers, Armageddon, or Jurassic Park. Fricking midtwit actors
The problem with really popular movies, is that they have routinely rin on TV, and it becomes hard to tell if you actually like the movie, or whether you watched it so many times because it was the better option that was available.
Most people have probably seen the Matrix, and the Indiana Jones films, and Die Hard repeatedly.

        Anonymous

I like The Matrix because it’s pure entertainment and there are no wasted scenes. Every single scene teaches you about the interesting concept or thrills with great action sequences, sometimes at the same time

Why is everyone ITT so pretentious? My top 4 is The Matrix, Truman Show, Fellowship of the Ring and Ninth Gate. I’ve watched and enjoyed hundreds of classics and thought provoking films but they would never get near my top 4 because so many of them are great just once

Normal people don’t generally watch those types of films. Most people you’d stop on the street wouldn’t know or wouldn’t have seen those films.

If by "normal people" you mean people under the age of 20 I believe you.

Do the math of earnings for both films va ticket cost and you’ll realise that while a lot of people watched the films worldwide it’s a drop in a bucket and you’d still struggle to find people who watched them in most towns in the US

Film taste is subjective, and by that I mean objective if you really wanna be reductionist about it but there’s no way of telling who likes what so the best you have to deal with is that some people like different things.
