Deadpool 1 was what I was expecting in a live action Deadpool movie, quips and all. Deadpool 2 really doubled down on the quips, used the same jokes from the first movie, and he felt less like Deadpool the character and more like Ryan Reynolds the actor.
I did enjoy X Force all being introduced and then summarily meeting grisly demises almost immediately. Especially Shatterstar; he was very funny if you know your X-Men because every single thing about his stupid, complicated backstory was lifted word-for-word from the comics. It was amusing seeing him introduced and amusing watching him unceremoniously die.
