Batman is sincerely a really well thought out and well developed character who's endlessly interesting and I'm glad he was written.

I don't think he's ever whined about his problems, he's an extreme repression guy

One doesn't negate the other. Being repressed never stopped Batman from forcing his problems down everyone's throat, creating his own villains because he's a control freak, and doing unhinged shits.

Yes. That's what makes him an interesting character

You mean like...Character flaws? Batman would be a boring gary stu if he wasn't an unhinged c**t.

            > Batman would be a boring gary stu
Sorry to inform you but an unhinged c**t who bent the logic of his world to his advantage, is praised as a hero and is rarely if ever hold accountable for his frick ups or transgressions IS a Gary Stu.
Batman's flaws are only flaws in theory and not in practice at this point, thanks to his legion of writers and simps being unable to cope with criticism or actually flawed characters.

People misconstrue being an butthole that gets away with everything as "interesting," usually an opinion held by teenagers, edgelords, or women.

There's so much to Batman's cannon and lore now. Fans can eat up from the comics, 60's TV show, cartoon, video games, legos, and movies. If you don't like one version of a Batman story, all you have to do is ignore it and follow another story.

    >Batman is sincerely a really well thought out and well developed character
No. He's just Zorro/Shadow flavored Superman Bob Kane came up with after visiting a Da Vinci exhibit. The rest was filled in by rubes he grifted. I'm sick of people acting like Batman is this lightning in a bottle idea when he's so derivative and manufactured by crooks.

He was clearly influenced by Zorro, but how exactly is he anything like Zorro besides being a masked vigilante that wears all black? The stories massively diverge from that point

Batman makes so much more sense than Superman. Batman has real world powers, like will power, wealth, high education, extensive martial arts training, extreme sports,

Super man is basically an space alien analogy to the Moses story

It never concludes the Moses allegory though, because Moses eventually leads his people home

I feel like the opposite is true cause a lot about Batman is known impossibility. Like you can't be stronger than the strongest power lift while being more agile than the best gymnast. They are two different specialized body types. Don't even get me started on all the skills and wealth that comes from nowhere. Batman would have to live 2400 hours a day for that to make any sense. Superman? All I need is to except 3 things: Aliens exist, are humanoid, have powers.

Technically Bruce is the stronger one and Dick is the more agile one and that's how they balance each other out

Caped Superheroes are mostly DC Comics Batman and Superman. On Marvel side it's Thor and Vision.

try reading batman comicbooks from 1970s and 1990s and early 2000s you will love him even more.

Agreed. Been reading a lot of random Bat stuff from the eighties and nineties lately. That was the peak of the character imo, but there's still so much good stuff outside of that era.

Not really. He's okay, but he's only special because he's commecially successful. His motivation is incredibly basic, his abilities are totally implausible and he acts like a schitzo due to being written by 2000 different writers.

Nah. There's literally thousands of random C- and D-list characters nobody cares about that have the exact same amount of "depth" as Batman. Only reason people put Batman above them is the fact that he makes more money and has been around longer (these two things are related to each other). He's not even slightly better as a character than some random turd like Ninjak.
