LOOOOOOL. ont get me wrong, the Nu52-verse was much, MUCH better than the actual Nu52 universe in comics but no, the Nu52 animation era sucked compared to what we had previously. I could not wait for it to be over. That movie sucks but i was still thankful for it. Unfortunately, despite starting off strong, the Tomorrowverse didnt fair much better, and it looks like it's gonna get rebooted early with CoIE

It was nothing like new52 Aquaman or JL. They nerfed him to hell by making it his origin instead of him having already been a superhero who had a team before JL then killed Orm and Manta. If anything it was Bizzaro New52.
Yeah, the movie adaption completely fricked up the deeper conflict of the storyline, that Aquaman, a founding leaguer, "betrayed" the surface by inadvertently sanctioning the invasion while he himself had his trust in Orm and Vulko broken.
It was meant to be a culmination of all the New 52 Aquaman stories to that point, not an origin story.
Practically everyone does love it outside Cinemaphile. I haven't watched a single reaction video where the movie wasn't praised by the viewer.

Making Hush Riddler is the most brainlet thing anyone could've done
The twist in the original was that Riddler was the true mastermind behind Hush.
The cartoon did the same thing but simplified it so much it made "Hush" entirely pointless.
They took one of the most casual friendly Batman stories and dumbed it down even further.
