Kramer's taller than the both of them. He'd just have to kick their knees in.

You say, "hey, you want it that bad, take it, it's yo-"

...and then, BOP, uppercut the tough one, maybe put him in a headlock and choke him out if he doesn't go down. If the other guy pulls a knife or gun, use the first guy as a meat shield. Make enough commotion that someone flags down a cop. Claim self defense, the end

Not in the 90's. Those two were just roommates anon. Genuinely they probably both had kids and at least two wives but were themselves just roommates.
          Thirty year living together roommates.
          Shower taking together roommates.
          It was a wild time.

The problem is that New York and thieves rule there so you are powerless.

Now in a red state you can draw your concealed carry and blast away for theft of property.

I really don’t know how to handle situations like this. If you ask them to not take it, and they still do, the only option is to try to hold the armoire. They’ll likely try to force you off. If you resist, it will likely escalate until somebody is hurt. If it’s you’ll they’ll stomp you and leave. If it’s them, they’ll try foul and get you arrested. You literally can’t do anything.

Exactly and that's why it's my most hated scene in the show, properly demonstrates how hopeless you can be to protect your own

Kramer could have turned on the crazy and started yelling which probably would have ran them off.

Exactly and that's why it's my most hated scene in the show, properly demonstrates how hopeless you can be to protect your own

I've actually dealt with a similar situations where I was charged with watching something or just hanging on to seats or a spot for my friends. I have severe social anxiety that somehow just goes away whenever I'm actually confronted with a real world problem. So I know what its like to overthink and spiral into some despair daydream where you're a helpless victim denied any semblance of justice in a cruel world. Just remember anxiety is all in your mind, you can probably handle it, and at the end of the day you have to get shit done. Just calmly explain the situation and 99.9% of people will act normal and probably get embarrassed they tried to take someone else's property, seat, etc... If they still did persist, threaten to call the cops, some other authority like a bouncer or manager, or imply a group of your friends could show up any second, but I literally never had this happen.

I wouldn’t expect people literally stealing a hundred pound piece of furniture, and threatening someone who tried to stop them, to respond to shaming. I don’t like dealing with people but I’ve done it for most of my life. You’re right, most people do respond to courteous, respectful, but clear and firm requests. The small percentage that don’t, however, are the ones to worry about. And there’s no middle ground with people like that. You’re either not interacting with them or you’re fighting to the death.

They were 2 literal homosexuals. Kramer should have kicked their asses with his Karate. Hate how they did Kramer in this scene. He was tough when that guy insulted his mom, and these guys seem weaker than that guy.
