I always thought the end was adorable. Scorpion had a signed autograph from Johnny Cage. Shows he only wanted to fight Johnny because he was a fan the entire time. That was a good touch. Scorpion during his off hours was probably defending Johnny Cage on the internet saying he was not a "fake martial artist"

I just rewatched it for the first time in years last week, still holds up in my opinion.
A small fun movie that sets a small bar for itself and successfully deals with it. No convoluted storyline, no twists, no pandaring, just a simple story with simple but charming characters. I like it.

It's not important that a movie be good. It's important that a movie be entertaining. And Mortal Kombat was really fricking entertaining.
It is an entertaining movie that still holds a special place in my heart.
