>Sony Pictures Entertainment will finance and distribute all four films theatrically in 2027. Details about release plans will be shared closer to the release, but the studio promises the strategy will be “innovative and groundbreaking.”
ENTER: THE BCU
Cast them
idris elba, zendaya, florence pigh and charles chalaminga
Tom Holland as Paul, Timothée Chalamet as John, Asa Butterfield as Ringo, Jaden Smith as George
Well if you mean how casting works in 2024..
>Ringo will be Indian
>George will be black
>Paul will be gay
>John will be a woman
John will be a white man BUT he'll get all his good ideas from Yoko
I know you're joking but biopics don't have to be 100% accurate so it wouldn't be that big of a deal
Frick actors. AI deepfake them. Let's go all in into ultrarealistic fake history revisionism.
Danny Pudi
Aziz Ansari
Kumail Nanjiani
Riz Ahmed
>think that's a fake article
>it's real
hollywood is done
they're now doing biopic cinematic universes...for fricks sake.
It’s actually pretty neat idea to do four simultaneous biopics focusing on each member.
yeah what a great idea
>and that time I wrote and I love her
>and that time I wrote yesterday
>and that time I wrote my sweet lord
>and that time I.....didn't do anything worth of notice and while I got money for being in the biggest band of all time
fricking ringo.....
You've never played the Beatles rock band if you believe Ringo did nothing
Thanks for the flashbacks of playing I Wanna Be Your Man and Good Morning Good Morning on expert lol
>Drive My Car on expert drums
people like Stewart Copeland think Ringo was a great drummer. I'll believe them over some anon in a cantonese pet-shaming forum
Yes. 4 origin stories about literal whos and the film ends with all of them meeting and forming the band. Yawn.
They’re POV films with interconnecting stories culminating in the 1970 breakup
The Beatles tho, it will probably work. Boomers go to theaters still and the Beatles had a number one hit last year. And the Beatles were famous for decades. As long as they don't make Lennon black or something it'll make bank
The 2pac biopic had the same actor from the Biggie biopic playing Biggie
So you are saying theyre all part of the phat Black person cinematic universe?
Can't wait to see crossover movies with Rolling Stones etc. and it all culminates on the big festival movie where they all play. Pop Stars: Endgame.
The Beatles themselves have quite the extensive career. From their beginnings, stardom, finding their creative voices, experimental phases, break up, and post-break up. It'd be really hard to capture that over the course of a single movie if you're attempting to give it any depth. The idea of this being 4 movies is kinda stupid. Probably could do it in 2, maybe 3.
Cast him
Jared Leto!
There's really no need for this after the recent Get Back movies and the older slapstick ones from the 60s.
You just know Paul is the one who came up with this idea, kek
>we're hemorrhaging money so we better had go back to pandering to boomers
Nah its even more nefarious.
Boomers are dying out so they need to create more beatles fans NOW
A masterful play. You have to hand it to those sneaky bastards
Funny thing is mom is peak boomer and she hates the beatles.
She attests that the Beatles were bubblegum pop for dorks who then tried to be psychedelic. And that cool people thought the beatles were poseurs.
She liked CSNY best in that era.
Shes not the only boomer to say something similar. The beatles may just be the 1969 equivalent of lamestream media calling some pop ho a genius songwriter.
Your mom sounds like a hipster or music snob who was never invited to the cool parties.
My Dad was an Elvis fan, and Buddy Holly all those who predated the Beatles even though he was just the right age when they hit it big. All their lives shows were full of screaming girls.
>movie about 60s dylan
>movies about 60s beatles
Boomers will never release their death grip on the culture.
it didn't really work for elvis. beatles sound too old sounding for zoomers. they like hip hop. michael jackson still has it though.
early beatles have iconic and good songs but the late beatles obviously will appeal more since the sounds on Abbey Road sound light years ahead of the early 60s
>>Sony Pictures
DOA
>he said, Disneyly
>>Sony
Aaaaaaaaaand into the trash it goes.
I do not care for the Beatles
>Beatles cinematic universe
the only beatle that actually has enough surrounding them to do a documentary is lennon, hence why there's been like 8 documentaries about him already
it must drive the media crazy that they can't make content about people who actually do their fricking jobs properly and consistently with minimal drama.
The Beatles recorded the entire album of Sgt Pepper in less than 4 months while it took Brian Wilson 9 months to never finish SMILE
>here's that handsome british kid I was telling you about
This sounds like a terrible idea. Just make ONE good movie. I'd *maybe* watch one good Beatles movie, but frick seeing 4 of them
>uh... they did a lot of drugs and beat up their girlfriends
Can wait for the fan edit that cuts all four movies together in chronological order for the ultimate 8 hour Beatlekino.
>this was a sex symbol in the 70s
I can't wait for Ringo Shining Time Station kino
Hard Day's Night is unironically a good movie
I never got music. I often listen to some anime and video game theme songs but I never had a favourite album let alone a favourite artist/band. How do people listen to entire albums when most of the songs are shit with maybe one or two which are decent?
>How do people listen to entire albums when most of the songs are shit?
> I listen to anime and video game theme songs
kek
I’ve never gotten people like this. I don’t even care if you listen to anime shit or video game OSTs but doing so and trashing actual albums is moronic
You need to listen to albums that have little to no filler like Thriller
>entire albums with one or two decent songs
>the beatles
?????????????????
How many scenes of Lennon beating his wife will we get?
Will Maxwell's Silver Hammer get it's own plotline?
Will Ringo have a stand alone film?
No one asked for this and as someone born in 1987 I despise the Beatles
I'd rather have a documentary about all the different disco studios of the 70s or another Beach Boys documentary (but like the Beatles, there's plenty enough books and other media about them).
>Sony
Hahahahahahaha
