what is Sean Bean doing there?
He is playing Kido
I hate half-assed shit. If Sean Bean was going to play Kido, it'd be better if the character was renamed Kelley or something
Another character that dies early on?
Ironically yes
That bastard just can't get a role where he lives
That asiatic looks too handsome
Most aesthetic casting in years, at least in an American production. Also the guy who plays Ikki is relentelessly handsome
Who is playing Ikki? There is no cast announced besides like 4 actors
Looks more like Tekken than Saint Seiya.
Madison Iseman is cute
i would say that is good casting
I want to lick the sand off her butt
Nice
the cast looks nice so far, hope it's good
uwu he cute
It's the yamatan DNA, really distinctive compared to the tained chinese DNA that plagues the country nowadays, japs with yamatan DNA are fricking gorgeous.
Yamato DNA is actually Chinese, the native DNA called the Jomon DNA is what gives some Japs their good looks (true Jomon look like cavemen, though)
Only French and Brazilians care about Saint Seya
Pretty much all of Latin America cares
And the chinese overlords too
Not true
Kurumada is bigger than Akira Toriyama in Japan
You can tell the producers don't give a frick about the US market by the title. "Knights of the Zodiac" was only used as a brand for Saint Seya on latin based languages. Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque, I Cavalieri dello zodiaco, Los Caballeros del Zodiaco, etc.
In the US and Canada it was also titled Knights of the Zodiac
Interesting I didn't know that, most people from the US/Canada call it Saint Seya afaik. It must have been a rebranding with some sort of rerelease because this opening song is clearly made by a pop punk band from the 2000s. This anime is from the 80s and every other country has a translation of the original intro song as their opening theme.
AND I RAN
Only brazilians genxers and a handful milenials care about saint seiya in Brazil, most zoomers don't even know the characters
>anytime someone says asiatics are attractive, all i can think is its some asian shill trying to astroturf
So you might say asian live in your head lent flee?
>Fake Jansen
>Mark Dacascos
>Qt from Jumanji
I'll give your anime a shot
>any chance it will be good Cinemaphile?
No, Saint Seiya success came from the writer who adapted the manga to anime, you really think that the mutt is really capable of doing anything good?
>nu-Asian actor for Seiya
why are asian men so happy with being a bunch of twinks
Women are into that these days
Have you not seen what kpop does to women?
What does kpop do to women???
Very nice.
Women like sissyboys now? Man, when I was young women used to bully sissyboys... I'm getting too old for this shit.
>Women like sissyboys now
Not women, teenage girls. Are we going to pretend people like Elvis Presley, James Dean or The Beatles were not sissy boys? This has always been a thing
Like most korean things, kpop is a westernized version of the japanese version, meaning that while jpop is mostly out there doing its thing being weird and inaccessible to westoids, koreans actively appeal to westoid sensibilities with boybands full of sissyboys and prostitutes in bawdy clothes.
>koreans actively appeal to westoid sensibilities
Yep. Koreans literally mutilate their faces to appeal to western audiences
they also mutilate their dicks emulating their american masters
well homie I won't complain if they cast a plastic homosexual for a BTS movie but in retrospective old anime stands out because their characters were not a bunch of pussies and betas like modern anime
it would be like remaking Rambo and casting Chamalet, whats even the point
Does this look like rambo to you?
Saint Seiya male characters have always been pretty boys, what's interesting is noticing what the concept of anime pretty boy used to be in the 80s, Seiya for all his huge shojo eyes and pretty hair stull has the proportions of an athletic man, a broad back, bulbous chest, rounnd shoulders, defined biceps, thick legs and strong calves.
Nowadays "prettyboys" are barely one step removed from outright traps.
Seiya's and the other characters' designs change from episode to episode. Sometimes he'll look the way you describe, sometimes he looks like a toddler, sometimes he looks stringy and skinny. I think it's silly to imply Seiya is the epitome of manhood when the show often takes its time to remind you these are just boys.
>broad back, bulbous chest, rounnd shoulders, defined biceps, thick legs and strong calves.
Saint Seiya was fujo bait.
Genuinely surprised that they cast whites as the greek characters, usually they just cast all japs, like with L in Death Note.
That's because Death Note was a Japanese-exclusive movie
This movie however isn't
Oh, I didn't know, I assumed it was a jap production given Seiya is played by an asian and not a Black person.
