venom in the game is a villain just because. his entire shtick is taking over the world and turning everyone and everything into a symbiote kind of because he feels like it? its supposed to be that hes taking harrys "heal the world" shit up to 11 which is fine, but its never explained WHY symbioting everything is "healing the world". because symbiotes are better than normal people i guess? the meteor that venom shows up on also amps him up and enables him to be able to take over the city because it does? why do all the symbiote people have fricking spirals on their faces? why does the meteor have a spiral on it? why the frick does the meteor let venom grow wings??? because it looks cool!! as cool as it is watching him do stuff in the game, as a character hes a fricking waste whose actions can be boiled down to "because uh shut up" which is really unfortunate because on the other side of the coin, kraven is fricking fantastic and has none of the problems venom does
>why do all the symbiote people have fricking spirals on their faces? why does the meteor have a spiral on it? why the frick does the meteor let venom grow wings???
Knull shit

yea we know that because of the comics, its never mentioned or hinted at in the game.

my assumption is that the symbiote sees what it does as healing harry and pete, thus if it does it to everyone it'll heal them all too.
Someone speculated Insomniac looked at King in Black, saw a few panels with the wings and designs but never actually read the damn thing
Why do the MCU and most recent Marvel games seem to primarily take from bad 2000s and 2010s comics as opposed to the decades worth of actual classic material?
Why is the new game version of Venom bad?
I only know that it's Harry, nothing beyond that.
He's a pure evil 1-dimensional monster who wants world domination
He’s Coates Venom, but even more lame and gay

This, they even gave Venom his wings from the event

which is good, because king in black fricking sucked
donny cates car accident is the best thing that happened to marvel in the last 3 years

well yea its obviously knull shit but in the context of the story it just happens because it looks cool
He's healing the world. The symbiote is manipulating Both Harry and Peter to Terra form the planet with promises that it will 'help'
I wish there were writers who did the villain who's evil because they deeply and intrinsically reject social norms, and desire actual change
He looked so cool in the promotional art. WTF was up with the actual movie version?
That would be Venom from the gay Venom movies
Why do the MCU and most recent Marvel games seem to primarily take from bad 2000s and 2010s comics as opposed to the decades worth of actual classic material?
cause old comics are like old and dated, duh. no wants to read those boomer.
I've been asking this for ages. There was zero good reason we had to be in such a rush to get to civil war
The game Venom is good frick off
