old Izubuchi Nu Gundam vs senile Izubuchi Nu Gundam and Izubuchi Hi-Nu
hi-nu's redesign is 97% made because bandai wanted something they could make a toy of more efficiently. Most of the dude's designs tend to never get faithful adaptations
Katoki gets to make the original hi-nu because he has the autistic passion project pass
because we didn't get a Nightingale kit for a whole seven years after the first MG Hi-Nu with it releasing alongside the Hi-Nu verka we did get the B-club garage kit, but that's more a passion project with a limited print and even then the RE100 lacked a load of features like the subarms
The HGUC was actually a redesign as well, however that was more to make it look more pointy/striking
What do you think the Sinanju is Anon?
Sinanju/stein is kinda a """""""""""""canon"""""""""""""""" version of the hi-nu more than the Nightingale
Novel CCA getting kits will never stop being weird to me. Back in the day I never imagined they would go past the B club kit which was something so strange at the time.

I do find it amusing that noone really cares for Highstreamer designs not even the third parties
>Plot LEAKS so far(Not all 100% confirmed): >The new Freedom and Justice are not nuclear powered as limited by the treaty, but have beam shields equipped.(Highly likely) >Shinn pilots the new Justice, Athrun pilots the new Infinite Justice Variant.(Highly likely) >The enemy is also a super coordinator like Kira. Kira will be in a pinch dealing with him.(Highly likely) >New Freedom gets destroyed by the enemy.(Highly likely) >Athrun is on some diplomatic/spy duty which limits his time as a ms pilot in the movie.(Highly likely) >Cosmic Era Gyan. >There will be a scene of Shinn rushing in to save Kira from danger. >Destiny gundam will still make its appearance. >There is a plot reason as to why the new Infinite Justice is equipped with this shabby looking backpack. The actual custom made backpack will likely be delivered to Athrun by Shinn. >Death of an important character from the TV. >Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end. >Main enemy ms having DRAGOONS
This guy previously described everything that’s now “highly likely” as confirmed and said Luna would be the Gyan pilot. The death and DRAGOON spoilers were added later.
I hope not, I was looking forward to lonely pseudo-milf Cagalli
It's Cagalli. That's why Shindo refused to go back because killing her off after everything else that happened is just one last parting shot from Morosawa she refuses to entertain. That's why Kira goes nuts during the trailer and seemingly has a breakdown, because the anti Lacus faction group kills Cagalli.
So hypothetically >Cagalli dies while mentoring Shota Flaga >He's the one that takes over since technically he's part of the Mashima family >Orb now has an even younger and more inexperienced leader
Wake me up in 50 years when Orb is ruled by an actual infant
Lacus is Fukuda’s dead wife. Cagalli dying would seem vindictive. Shinn and Luna’s VAs are too popular. Mwu already died. Murrue is too cute to die. Yzak and Dearka dying wouldn’t be dramatic because only Athrun knows who they are. No one cares about the Dom trio. Fukuda doesn’t have the balls to kill Kira or Athrun even though it would be kino.
C3P0 was supposed to be a "used-car dealer from the bronx" robot. Are you seriously thinking discarded ideas matter when it comes to gary stu Kira and mary sue Lacus, with that lunatic fanbase?
[...]
They're going to kill mwu a second time. The flaga genes die with him.
Probably Cagalli. She's already been written out of the show so they'll just go ahead and kill her off
It's going to be Kira 100%
He already can't breed with Lacus due to both being coordinators.
and it will mirror CCA just like how SEED mirror 079 and Destiny mirror Zeta
Yazak is going to die in a blaze of Glory. And his ghost will finally appear to Athrun and confess his homosexual lust towards him, afterwards Shiho receives her first audible dialogue >Yzak... *rubs belly*
And in the credits she is shown with a baby that has his signature haircut
>Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end.
For what reason? It's not gonna work, those fujos wont have kids no matter what, just give them some slack and cut some work hours, you'll get an increase in salaryman babies you won't fricking believe.
>The enemy is also a super coordinator like Kira. Kira will be in a pinch dealing with him.(Highly likely)
I hope it's not a schizo. >Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end.
Wait, can they breed?
>The new Freedom and Justice are not nuclear powered as limited by the treaty, but have beam shields equipped.(Highly likely)
Why is this such a big deal? Seed Doms already have beam shields and they are nuclear powered. And Impulse has that weird Green Beam shield that appears ontop of his regular shield.
The very symbol of Male fertility, Shinn
Athrun pumped woman after woman to no avail, he was shooting blanks
Kira hasn't even touched Lacus for 3 years
Athrun and Kira spent too long sitting on top of nuclear reactors and now their testicles are useless
duh so they can upgrade shit halfway through the movie, like the shitty 00 raiser with the condenser instead of actual drives
I guess if you really wanted a reason then it's because there's been two years of peace and there hasn't been a need to go into combat so they're in peacetime mode and haven't bothered to rebuild it properly
[...]
The two suits on the Left are allegedly Battery-powered. Meaning that Compass has to abide by rules. Chances are, the modifications made to the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice are just new.
This is the reason why I like the first two, while I don't like the final suits on the right.
It wouldn't necesserily take years. Maybe they weren't expecting to have to deploy SF or IJ again and don't start the upgrades until the film starts.
Are we even certain these are the original Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice? For all we know, those Destiny suits could have been locked away. And these suits we see now are just budget versions of those suits. Just like how Seed DOMs can have beam shields even though they are battery powered.
That's presumably what the first version of Freedom and Justice from the film are. The idea is SF and IJ were shelved to try to make Lacus's group look more like a fair police force by using non nuclear Gundam's, but were presumably worked on behind the scenes incase there was ever a big enough emergency that they needed to use them again. And towards the end of the film that's exactly what happens.

We'll just have to wait until 30th since the designs will most likely be revealed then. If the designs match then the plot leak is most likely real too.
Is it just me or does the Strike Freedom (third one from the left) seems like having a backpack similar to the Lunagazer's? Probably trying to invoke the Stargazer.
I think this might be real.
From a lore standpoint it makes sense they’d want to keep the infinite justice and strike freedom up to date by adding new backpacks.
Also it allows Bandai to reuse their molds.
Then halfway through the film they can upgrade to the new freedom and justice units.
To add on it’s similar to how the 00 movie and CCA both start with the MC piloting a modified weaker version of a prior main Gundam.
In CCA it’s the Re-GZ in 00awott it’s the 00 raider condenser type.
This is more of the same. And it’s because of that similarity to past works I feel like these leaks are probably real.
All fricking gendumbs looks the fricking same, you raging autists. >boo hoo wings are different shape
Like who the frick cares, winged mechs are gay as frick.
screencap this, the final enemy will be a clone using genes of both La Flaga and Durandal. Basically making a real Char for SEED, also having the memories of Durandal and Rau. And he will die with Kira to mirror CCA
We got Hathaway's Flash a month after the Japanese release. So, hopefully it'll be as quick as it was then. Same day is probably a pipe dream, but within a few months is pretty likely.
The ride continues.
Though today, there is a visitor from the afterlife who watches over them, smiling at them for their earned happiness in life.
(Sorry, there is no Fate character who TM Revolution voiced that ghost Heine could cosplay as. Anyways...)
Yes. But he’s also angry, rude, probably has oppositional defiant disorder, and is selectively moronic. That’s why he needs a good dicking from Athrun.
Not the biggest fan of how the blocky the legs on the IJ looked, since I much preferred the more knightlike look of the original one despite the fun beam blade gimmick. This one looks like a nice progression of the design, with the emphasis on more black colors this time.
>We'll revamp the Full Mechanics line so now they're the cheaper alternative to MGs! >Every SEED FM released so far has been just as expensive as modern MGs, if not more.
To maintain a price point. Bandai downgraded the MG ABS frame to PS frame, now they don't even have an inner frame if FM is the new standard. 5000 jpy+ is the price point now.
it's a line that focuses on external detail instead of inner detail.
To maintain a price point. Bandai downgraded the MG ABS frame to PS frame, now they don't even have an inner frame if FM is the new standard. 5000 jpy+ is the price point now.
nothing to do with price point. otherwise the FM wouldn't be more than 5000jpy.
That episode is somehow convincing me that Rau is coming back as the seed's final villain since Gil mentioned that Rau wants to continue living to 'defy' whatever the stuff they saw in
their vision
>All things are born into this world, and eventually die. It’s as simple as that. >Then are you saying that it’s meaningless to hope or wish for anything? >No. Not at all. I’m just saying it sums up what this beloved world and living creatures known as humans are. No matter how long one lives, or how one wishes to live his life. It’s something that everyone knows, yet everyone has forgotten. But I will not forget it. I will never be able to forget it. If my life has any value, it is because I’ve never forgotten for even a single moment. Hahahahaha. >But even you lived because you wanted to. As if defying something, as if longing for something.
He's being flowery talking about Rau choosing to live rather than just commit sudoku in the face of his intense nihilism, not suggesting that Rau survived SEED.
One of these characters will have their mobile suit destroyed by Kira and then they will kill themselves for a random reason, the rest will be killed by Shinn
Not only are they ugly as hell, but Seed and Destiny couldn't even develop any of the Gundam pilots aside from Kira, Athrun and Shinn. With so many of these characters, these guys are just going to die after only getting a couple lines of dialog.
At least the other two ZAFT redcoats, Yzak and Dearka, got their share of development and time in the spotlight.
>couldn't
Wouldn't. It was clear enough with the druggies. >we need some new bad guys for the second half, and they MUST be in gundams! >who are they? who cares!
You say that as if UC didn't have its fair share of throwables. >Who the frick is Gyunei? >Who the frick are any mooks who tag along with Char basically?
Gyunei can be justified on the basis that CCA is a movie, and even he has his share of compelling scenes. A full-fledged TV show doesn't have that excuse other than incompetence.
This also applies to the Knights of Round in Geass R2, which went nowhere for the most part, other than disposable mooks for Suzaku.
If you're going to give Gyunei the pass, then you have to do the same with Clotho who gets background cameo for being in the same death training camp as the Extended's and Sven.

Nobody is asking for any such thing. The thing is, there has to be something to them other than "duhhh... these are blank slate automatons". If you don't see this as inexcusable storytelling, I don't know what to say to you.
The story wants us to buy those three as the main antagonists for Kira, but there's nothing to them. At least there was an attempt with the ZAFT quartet, but there's nothing with those three, to the point I don't even remember whose name corresponds to whom.

Destiny comes years later. It does nothing in the moment for Seed. Expanding on a character after they're dead does nothing for anybody. It was basically just a callback. That is correct, actually. My loathing for the fricking druggies comes entirely out of analysis. They're worthless non-characters that add nothing to the story. In other words, zero effort on the writer and director's part.
I wouldn't complain if they had lasted for a handful of episodes and killed mercilessly halfway through (eg. Thrones, the two G-Witch mesugakis), but no, they're supposed to be the main foes for Kira and Athrun.

Anon isn't wrong. From Orb until the very final episode the Druggies were Kira and Athrun's only major opponents. Kira fights Rau in the final battle only and Patrick is a political guy who Athrun doesn't even meet during the finale until he's already seconds from death.

My personal opinion of them wasn't that high in the first place, but putting some named mook from a movie to be somehow a higher literary character is moronic. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and call it bait because I sure bit it hard and bloody.

First of all, I wasn't the one that brought up Gyunei.
Second, at least CCA had that one scene with Gyunei and Quess on Axis' ruins that helps to develop both characters. So no, he's most definitely not just a "named mook". While the Destiny Extended had some scenes of their own (eg. onboard the EA carrier), was there anything like this with the SEED druggies? No.

You keep insisting they should put human scenes into characters that are by all purposes inhuman like a baby pushing a square block into a circular hole. Regardless, when they're not on a wienerpit or convulsing from withrdrawal, you get this. Don't memory hole yourself.

Boo hoo. Some establishment shots for the fujo crowd. Whee! Is there any dialogue there? Those shots are like powdered shampoo: a cheap veneer, only there to give a semblance of effort.
In fact, I really hate those fricking shots because the background dialogue is pointing out something very interesting about the war and the setting as a whole; namely, that Orb is pretty much the only neutral nation left on Earth, so the early GundamOfficial map is obsolete.
Instead of giving us a map, or people talking about these events, or at least some shots of troops moving around, you get "Bishonen Aidoru no Nichijou", only there to make the fujoshi go "sqwee!!1!", proving forever you can put a pretty face and basic, facile audiences will buy it no questions asked.

Why waste time with inferior DNAt when Kira is obviously perfect and has the papers to support that fact? Just clone HIM instead of more La Flaga shit.
Wasn't that one of Fukuda's ideas for the movie? Like Kira is so invincible that the only thing that could put up a fight against him is an army of Kira clones.
I mean, Durandal had easy access to Athrun while Kira was away, it would make sense.

hi-nu's redesign is 97% made because bandai wanted something they could make a toy of more efficiently. Most of the dude's designs tend to never get faithful adaptations
Katoki gets to make the original hi-nu because he has the autistic passion project pass
If it was just about merch why wasn't the Nightingale redesigned? That design is much less conductive to toys/kits.
What do you think the Sinanju is Anon?
A Gundam with a Zeon/Red Comet body kit?
because we didn't get a Nightingale kit for a whole seven years after the first MG Hi-Nu with it releasing alongside the Hi-Nu verka we did get the B-club garage kit, but that's more a passion project with a limited print and even then the RE100 lacked a load of features like the subarms
The HGUC was actually a redesign as well, however that was more to make it look more pointy/striking
>PSYCHOFRAME, SON
Taking lessons from the "men of density", are you, Hi-Nu?
UC ms design looks clucky and slow as frick
Good lord it's like Nu Gundam's been going to chemotherapy
Senile looking good
How is the new strike freedom going to "transform" like they mentioned it would be able to do? It's the exact same thing.
>Plot LEAKS so far(Not all 100% confirmed):
>The new Freedom and Justice are not nuclear powered as limited by the treaty, but have beam shields equipped.(Highly likely)
>Shinn pilots the new Justice, Athrun pilots the new Infinite Justice Variant.(Highly likely)
>The enemy is also a super coordinator like Kira. Kira will be in a pinch dealing with him.(Highly likely)
>New Freedom gets destroyed by the enemy.(Highly likely)
>Athrun is on some diplomatic/spy duty which limits his time as a ms pilot in the movie.(Highly likely)
>Cosmic Era Gyan.
>Death of an important character from the TV.
Who will it be?
Probably Cagalli. She's already been written out of the show so they'll just go ahead and kill her off
I hope not, I was looking forward to lonely pseudo-milf Cagalli
It's Cagalli. That's why Shindo refused to go back because killing her off after everything else that happened is just one last parting shot from Morosawa she refuses to entertain. That's why Kira goes nuts during the trailer and seemingly has a breakdown, because the anti Lacus faction group kills Cagalli.
So hypothetically
>Cagalli dies while mentoring Shota Flaga
>He's the one that takes over since technically he's part of the Mashima family
>Orb now has an even younger and more inexperienced leader
Wake me up in 50 years when Orb is ruled by an actual infant
If Frickuda recasted Cags just to have her killed, I will never touch anything he makes ever again.
wtf he makes like, what, 1 series every 5 years? Nothing will happen if you stop following him, in fact your mental health will improve.
Nah he would be a giga chad for that. Frick Naomi Shindo, she deserved it for being a prostitute and expecting something in return.
Meyrin.
Kira and Athrun were going to die in SEED. They only survived due to SEED DESTINY being commissioned.
C3P0 was supposed to be a "used-car dealer from the bronx" robot. Are you seriously thinking discarded ideas matter when it comes to gary stu Kira and mary sue Lacus, with that lunatic fanbase?
Morosawa can't write Lacus as her Mary-Sue anymore
>Shinn and Luna’s VAs are too popular.
The real winners of SEED
It's going to be Kira 100%
He already can't breed with Lacus due to both being coordinators.
and it will mirror CCA just like how SEED mirror 079 and Destiny mirror Zeta
>He already can't breed with Lacus due to both being coordinators.
who the frick told you?
The twist is the character won't be important at all.
Mwu.
Again.
It's Dearka. Seiyuu's been retired from the industry so this will be his true swan song.
Dearka bros... we're busted...
I'd say Fukuda Subverts the trope and Agnes lives, but Yzak dies.
It will be Kira Yamato
but he will come back to life anyway.
>Inb4 they turn him into the CE version of Iron Mask
Good god Meyrin is stacked
But was it worth the Twintail sacrifice?
Very worth it
She was always thiccer than Luna. There's that one scene where she's annoyed that she doesn't fit into Luna's clothes.
Yazak is going to die in a blaze of Glory. And his ghost will finally appear to Athrun and confess his homosexual lust towards him, afterwards Shiho receives her first audible dialogue
>Yzak... *rubs belly*
And in the credits she is shown with a baby that has his signature haircut
They're going to kill mwu a second time. The flaga genes die with him.
>Luna as your mother
>Shinn as your father
>Meyrin (bimbo ver.) As your aunt
>>>>>>
as your uncle
Meyrin will die. Luna and Shinn’s twins will be Meyrin and Rey.
They will be Durandal and Rau
No, it'll be two daughter twins and they'll be called mayu and stella
>Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end.
For what reason? It's not gonna work, those fujos wont have kids no matter what, just give them some slack and cut some work hours, you'll get an increase in salaryman babies you won't fricking believe.
>The enemy is also a super coordinator like Kira. Kira will be in a pinch dealing with him.(Highly likely)
I hope it's not a schizo.
>Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end.
Wait, can they breed?
>Wait, can they breed?
Shinn and Luna are willing to dedicate a lot of time to finding out if they can.
>7/11 Gundam
>Shinn and Lunamaria having twins by the end
My heart will orgasm if that is legit
I love this ever-expanding tapestry. Keep at it, anon.
lmao, I can definitely see Jason becoming whipped as hell by that Earthussy.
>Youlant Goetia in the background checking out Kiara’s breasts
>serial killer Athrun
>Gilgayzak
>Shinn and Luna twins
Bet they're gonna be called "Rey" and "Mayu".
and Lunamaria having twins by the end.
Is this a nod to their vas having a kid last year?
>The new Freedom and Justice are not nuclear powered as limited by the treaty, but have beam shields equipped.(Highly likely)
Why is this such a big deal? Seed Doms already have beam shields and they are nuclear powered. And Impulse has that weird Green Beam shield that appears ontop of his regular shield.
>SF upgrade just gives it IJ's leg beams
This is too much even for a parody.
Also Destiny's forearms and F-91 shoulder fins
>SF upgrade just gives it IJ's leg beams
are you joking because it looks the exact same as the original strike freedom line art
The right ones look barely any different than the current SF and IJ.
I like the ones on the left, the upgrades leave a lot to be desired.
>Athrun possibly losing yet another lover
He just keeps burning through woman after woman, is he cursed?
So is the 26th jan the release date? Im considering flying to japan in around late feb, will the movie still be played?
>About 4 weeks.
Yeah, it should still be in theaters.
>backpack that doesn't look like shit on Justice
>backpack that looks like absolute shit on Infinite Justice
I am feeling conflicted.
What are the ones left?
The very symbol of Male fertility, Shinn
Athrun pumped woman after woman to no avail, he was shooting blanks
Kira hasn't even touched Lacus for 3 years
Athrun and Kira spent too long sitting on top of nuclear reactors and now their testicles are useless
It's the very opposite, Shin is more like a child while Athrun and Gary Stu are portrayed like the ideal men. Shin is like a infant chimpanzee.
So why will the Infinite Justice 2.0 launch with a shabby bagpack? What happened to the second one seen at the end of Seed Destiny?
According to the "leaks" it's a makeshift pack given while the actual one will be completed and delivered during the battle.
Why would it take them years to make a new Infinite Justice backpack?
These leaks sound fake as hell.
duh so they can upgrade shit halfway through the movie, like the shitty 00 raiser with the condenser instead of actual drives
I guess if you really wanted a reason then it's because there's been two years of peace and there hasn't been a need to go into combat so they're in peacetime mode and haven't bothered to rebuild it properly
The two suits on the Left are allegedly Battery-powered. Meaning that Compass has to abide by rules. Chances are, the modifications made to the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice are just new.
This is the reason why I like the first two, while I don't like the final suits on the right.
The shiny microwave-y chest piece on the new Justice Gundam makes me think it recharges its battery using the same system as Impulse.
We'll just have to wait until 30th since the designs will most likely be revealed then. If the designs match then the plot leak is most likely real too.
It wouldn't necesserily take years. Maybe they weren't expecting to have to deploy SF or IJ again and don't start the upgrades until the film starts.
Should have gone with the real type colours for Freedom & Justice kai.
It looks way better in green and grey
Is it just me or does the Strike Freedom (third one from the left) seems like having a backpack similar to the Lunagazer's? Probably trying to invoke the Stargazer.
I think this might be real.
From a lore standpoint it makes sense they’d want to keep the infinite justice and strike freedom up to date by adding new backpacks.
Also it allows Bandai to reuse their molds.
Then halfway through the film they can upgrade to the new freedom and justice units.
I hate Bandai so much
To add on it’s similar to how the 00 movie and CCA both start with the MC piloting a modified weaker version of a prior main Gundam.
In CCA it’s the Re-GZ in 00awott it’s the 00 raider condenser type.
This is more of the same. And it’s because of that similarity to past works I feel like these leaks are probably real.
At least with Re-GZ it had an interesting gimmick with the BWS
All fricking gendumbs looks the fricking same, you raging autists.
>boo hoo wings are different shape
Like who the frick cares, winged mechs are gay as frick.
You have to be 18 to post here.
So true!
Correct. Most of them are just Gundam MK-IIs with a backpack.
Or Zeta.
We don't have many actual Zeta copies outside UC.
They need to steal the zeta face to really sell it
Thats what I am saying. To many Gundam don't have Zeta face
racist
Reminder that this killed no one.
There are a load of dead techs in the control room when Kira confronts Gil
They all got shot by Rey/Gil/each other/universe hopping Char before Kira arrived.
Luna pilots GYAN?
Then what does the new girl pilot
Probably whatever the COMPASS grunt equivalent is. So likely some kind of Astray looking thing.
screencap this, the final enemy will be a clone using genes of both La Flaga and Durandal. Basically making a real Char for SEED, also having the memories of Durandal and Rau. And he will die with Kira to mirror CCA
Prayer Reverie already exists, anon
Prayer be dead though
How long does it usually take for a Gundam film to get some sort of english release?
I would not be surprised if it has limited release to a few english theaters. We got an official english trailer day one.
Yeah it might get a special showing subbed release in the US like Shin Kamen Rider and other films did.
We got Hathaway's Flash a month after the Japanese release. So, hopefully it'll be as quick as it was then. Same day is probably a pipe dream, but within a few months is pretty likely.
If you're in SEA and sometimes Australia, then near close to the Japanese roadshow. US gets it several months to a year after. Europoors...lol
Happy 53rd birthday, TM Revolution
Fricking nip genes
I didn't know five-six layers of makeup came with the japanese genes.
The ride continues.
Though today, there is a visitor from the afterlife who watches over them, smiling at them for their earned happiness in life.
(Sorry, there is no Fate character who TM Revolution voiced that ghost Heine could cosplay as. Anyways...)
Happy birthday.

Why are you posting this? It's not like the people here watch jap TV networks.
hype
MYSTERY homieS
What the difference between the two Re-GZ types? Is one the minor appearance in Unicorn?
Yeah
One of them is on welfare
It’s gotta be him. No one else is that round
G.Y.A.N is pretty much confirmed since it's behind Mwu here
What does that even mean
it means some amerishit frick who doesn't even understand japanese made that image and you're a moron
Prove it
If they were American and didn’t know Japanese why would they use the term “aircraft”
The original source of the image is from Weibo. OP just cropped it out the guy's watermark

https://twitter.com/SEED_HDRP/status/1704691920830964208
Do you believe that Shinn is a kind, sweet-hearted, good boy?
Yes. But he’s also angry, rude, probably has oppositional defiant disorder, and is selectively moronic. That’s why he needs a good dicking from Athrun.
He is a faaag
>"No!"
Under Kira's teachings he will be.
How can Kira discipline Shinn?
I think we all already know the answer
He just needs someone to steer him in the right direction. In other words, anyone but Athrun.
I believe he, objectively, did nothing wrong
https://twitter.com/SEED_HDRP/status/1705054308964925468
I really like this mix of Infinite & Saviour
Not the biggest fan of how the blocky the legs on the IJ looked, since I much preferred the more knightlike look of the original one despite the fun beam blade gimmick. This one looks like a nice progression of the design, with the emphasis on more black colors this time.
The arms looks pasted from the Airmaster
When was the last time Okawara really tried making a good design and not just phoning it in?
>We'll revamp the Full Mechanics line so now they're the cheaper alternative to MGs!
>Every SEED FM released so far has been just as expensive as modern MGs, if not more.
Who the frick was this line intended for
To maintain a price point. Bandai downgraded the MG ABS frame to PS frame, now they don't even have an inner frame if FM is the new standard. 5000 jpy+ is the price point now.
it's a line that focuses on external detail instead of inner detail.
nothing to do with price point. otherwise the FM wouldn't be more than 5000jpy.
>it's a line that focuses on external detail instead of inner detail.
Explain the Kyoukai Senki one.
Which episode of Destiny has ghost Rau and Durandal talking for the whole episode?
Episode 29. Fates.
123 days before Freedom!
Meer was an interesting character for sure
She never had to suffer the botox lips treatment.
To be honest, the lips look good on Lacus, but they look bad on everyone else. I don't know why, they all have the same face anyway.
They look good on Cagalli too
The movie will have a flashback where she has them retroactively
Is this new? I don't remember the Freedom doing the circus in the original version of Destiny
It's old. IIRC it's recycled from episode 13 against the ASH
How is that "doing the circus"? It's just a basic evasive movement?
In any case, no, that scene exists the same in the original version of Destiny.
Why is he fighting metalgarurumon.
New characters
These look terrible.
Who the frick invited Bizon to Cosmic Era
Ironically, that character's voiced by Matsuoka, WATASE AOBA himself.
Kingdom of Scandinavia right?
>Khyber
I don't think the queen is Scandinavian any more
>raging masked edgelord
>name is Daniel
Sasuga
Shura has those "frick me" eyes
One of these characters will have their mobile suit destroyed by Kira and then they will kill themselves for a random reason, the rest will be killed by Shinn
>Shinn
You mean Athrun when he gets in the IJ kai & an injured Shinn delivers his new bagpack to him like a good errand boy.
Still no official pics of Mobile suits?
It'll be a better promotional material than this literally who characters
They'll most likely reveal it in one or two days at the same time as the kits reveal at the upcoming hobby show.
The leaks may be true. The MG Narrative ver. KA was spotted.
If those are the true design then CE is pretty much dead.
Yukari Tamura
Kek, they brought in Hilda and Momoka aka TOP MEIDO from Cross Ange. Darn it Fukuda.
He's had Houko Kuwashima in three of his shows and killed her off three times.
She survived Cross Ange.
Which is why I said three times. Remember, she voiced two characters in SEED. Natarle and Flay.
>Natarle and Flay.
Damn, hitting/killing two Kuwashimas with one stone in a single series
Three, she's also Kira's bio mom who's presumably dead.
Isn't funny that Kira ended up having the hots for a girl with her mother's voice?
>her mother's
*his, sorry for the typo
Shinn's sister, Mayu, was voiced by Maaya Sakamoto.
Japan is clearly trying to tell us something here.
Well, Oreimo exists. Wasn't the sister not only part of the harem, but she won in the end too?
She also voiced kid Rey, who is also dead.
Kuwashima is a curse
At least she survived. Who knows about Agnes?
You mean long after he was dead? That doesn't do anything for Clotho. He was nothing in Seed. Gyunei actually had a personality and motives.
>Gyunei actually had a personality and motives.
You don't have to try too hard to dicksuck him. And they made a point of Clotho and the rest of the boosted men that they're not meant to have motives. They're the byproducts of Natural's absurd seething over Coordies.
It's not sucking his dick when it's true. Regardless of him being a shit character or not he had motive and personality. Clotho and the others just screamed about killing shit. Them being a byproduct of Naturals trying to catch up to Coordinators is something that isn't explored deeply enough. It's basically hypocrisy not really called out in the show.
You just don't like the direction they went with those antagonists. They don't need a sob story. They don't need to have some complex human emotions. They're what they are. Biological CPUs.
I'm not asking for a sob story. I'm asking for the idea of them to be expanded. They come and go with no fanfare. We know next to nothing about the program, the feelings of people involved with the program or the idea of Naturals creating super humans to fight Coordinators being called out in the show. They're making what they hate.
>They don't need a sob story. They don't need to have some complex human emotions.
>All these literary majors
Look, you're watching a robot show commercial at the end of the day, not fricking Dostoyevsky. Why are you so anal retentive at giving these living automatons three dimensional traits? Because it has veneers of a war drama? There point is to be antagonists and if you want to excuse and inflate a guy like Gyunei for your argument then that's on you, but you're still showing your double standard bias.
>There point
Come on, at least make an effort at trolling.
>Focusing on that one typo.
You have nothing else to say.
>In contrast, a character might be sitting in a chair for 50 episodes (usually the case with villains) and still get developed.
This gross exaggeration simply shows you hate them for the most impartial of reasons. Nothing of any balanced argument.
>you hate them for the most impartial of reasons
That is correct, actually. My loathing for the fricking druggies comes entirely out of analysis. They're worthless non-characters that add nothing to the story. In other words, zero effort on the writer and director's part.
I wouldn't complain if they had lasted for a handful of episodes and killed mercilessly halfway through (eg. Thrones, the two G-Witch mesugakis), but no, they're supposed to be the main foes for Kira and Athrun.
>but no, they're supposed to be the main foes for Kira and Athrun.
More lies. Kira's was Rau and Athrun's was Patrick. Stop putting false expectations on midbosses and then sperging over them with your "analysis" full of bias and fallacies.
Anon isn't wrong. From Orb until the very final episode the Druggies were Kira and Athrun's only major opponents. Kira fights Rau in the final battle only and Patrick is a political guy who Athrun doesn't even meet during the finale until he's already seconds from death.
Yeah, because without them, the EA would be so handicapped that they may as well have been wiped out. They needed the boost figuratively and literally.
>Yeah, because without them, the EA would be so handicapped that they may as well have been wiped out.
Let me get this right: the Earth Alliance, one of the war's major factions, would've been single-handedly eliminated by Kira and Athrun if it hadn't been for the presence of three unstable imbeciles that even shoot each other.
That or ZAFT curbstomping and genociding them to kingdom come. That's the absolute state of the EA.
>That or ZAFT curbstomping and genociding them to kingdom come.
>That's the absolute state of the EA.
You're an utter moron by giving those three dipshits that much relevance. It's only a team of three units. The EA had whole fleets and scores of Strike Daggers. Their overall contribution to the war was inconsequential.
Maybe we wouldn't have this shit flinging if one of you didn't inflate Gyunei into having more relevancy than the druggies.
>if one of you didn't inflate Gyunei into having more relevancy than the druggies.
Except Gyunei has more relevance and characterization than the druggies in every conceivable regard. Gyunei is there to be a tragic Char wannabe: he doesn't get respect from anyone, especially Quess.
>Gyunei is there to be a tragic Char wannabe
And the druggies are living weapons stripped of humanity just to be an outlet for the naturals to take out the "space monsters." Different flavors of suck but you choose to elevate one over the other.
No, but that thing's existence only cements my point.
>And the druggies are living weapons stripped of humanity just to be an outlet for the naturals to take out the "space monsters."
Except that's never developed! That's an inference that audiences have to make that the story itself doesn't bother to elaborate.
>Different flavors of suck but you choose to elevate one over the other.
I don't know what's your thing against Gyunei in particular, but let's try this instead: who would you consider a decently written antagonist? Give me an example from anywhere you like.
Or are your standards so low that you accept three worthless characters like the druggies at face value?
>Except that's never developed! That's an inference that audiences have to make that the story itself doesn't bother to elaborate.
Living with autism is worse than being a druggie and this is proof of it.
>I don't know what's your thing against Gyunei in particular, but let's try this instead: who would you consider a decently written antagonist? Give me an example from anywhere you like.
Or are your standards so low that you accept three worthless characters like the druggies at face value?
My personal opinion of them wasn't that high in the first place, but putting some named mook from a movie to be somehow a higher literary character is moronic. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and call it bait because I sure bit it hard and bloody.
>but putting some named mook from a movie to be somehow a higher literary character is moronic.
No.
>Second, at least CCA had that one scene with Gyunei and Quess on Axis' ruins that helps to develop both characters. So no, he's most definitely not just a "named mook". You keep insisting they should put human scenes into characters that are by all purposes inhuman like a baby pushing a square block into a circular hole. Regardless, when they're not on a wienerpit or convulsing from withrdrawal, you get this. Don't memory hole yourself.
>when they're not on a wienerpit or convulsing from withrdrawal, you get this
How is a full dressed dude playing a dumb video game fujo ? You’re embarassing yourself dude.
>How is a full dressed dude playing a dumb video game fujo ?
You don't know fujoshi, do you? You don't need to go the full nine yards to get them. Anything random bishie is enough
It's the same as with moeshitters and the "dicky" crowd. The effort you need to get a reaction is minimal.
>Bringing up random irrelevant groups in order to divert away from the actual point of discussion.
This anons are what we call a strawman.
>The EA had whole fleets and scores of Strike Daggers.
Which are made of paper mache and laced with powder and manned by absolute shitters.
>manned by absolute shitters.
This you as well?
overall contribution to the war was inconsequential.
>Captured Flay's lifepod
>Which enabled the EA to use nukes again.
>Captured Flay's lifepod
>Which enabled the EA to use nukes again.
Speaking of stupid contrivances. What if Kira had successfully recovered the pod instead? Then what? Wouldn't Rau's master plan to have both sides kill each other be frustrated right there? Or would he find some other way to send Azrael the NJC schematics?
>Or would he find some other way to send Azrael the NJC schematics?
This. He has moles within all factions.
>You don't have to try too hard to dicksuck him
For what it's worth,
/
and
are two different people.
>they're not meant to have motives
This isn't the argument you think it is. In other words, you're looking at it from the story's point of view rather than the writer's. You don't give shitty storytelling a pass by going "oh, this character is not supposed to be anything other than a 'pretty' face".
And another thing.
>seething
Talk like a normal human being, instead of a meme-spewing imbecile.
>This isn't the argument you think it is. In other words, you're looking at it from the story's point of view rather than the writer's. You don't give shitty storytelling a pass by going "oh, this character is not supposed to be anything other than a 'pretty' face".
Character=/=Story
The trio fill their role: antagonists. They're used as weapons Azrael to fulfill his ambitions. Simple as that.
>Talk like a normal human being, instead of a meme-spewing imbecile.
That's on you for getting triggered over a word.
>We know next to nothing about the program.
That's a clear lie. Azrael explained and Destiny expanded it with Lodonia.
>the feelings of people involved with the program or the idea of Naturals creating super humans to fight Coordinators being called out in the show. They're making what they hate.
Why do we need to see them get mad over coordies for the x number of time? That is the sole motivation behind their creation.
>That's a clear lie. Azrael explained and Destiny expanded it with Lodonia.
Destiny comes years later. It does nothing in the moment for Seed. Expanding on a character after they're dead does nothing for anybody. It was basically just a callback. Compare what we see with Cyber Newtypes to the CE equivalent.
>Why do we need to see them get mad over coordies for the x number of time? That is the sole motivation behind their creation.
It's not about them getting mad. It's about the hypocrisy. You'd think a voice of reason like Natarle would point it out. If you have to create supermen to fight supermen, you're pissing in the wind. You've already admitted you lost. It's a slippery slope just like Coordinators.
>Azrael explained
Explained what? Where? When? There's this scene where Natarle looks up their file, but there's no explanation.
>and Destiny expanded it with Lodonia.
This is what we call a "retcon".
>Why do we need to see them get mad over coordies for the x number of time?
Them whom?
>This also applies to the Knights of Round in Geass R2, which went nowhere for the most part, other than disposable mooks for Suzaku.
Gino and Anya had character, Bismarck was at least an arc villain and vampire guy was a villain of the day even if his character was just Ali Al Sachez lite, though I grant you the rest were just goons to be killed and most barely rated characters though all the Rounds getting large characterization with R2's constraints was probably impossible. But that's still more than the Druggie Trio had.
>Bismarck
I'll never be not salty about the Galahad being wasted on a character who was essentially a glorified jobber.
>jobber
Galahad was kicking the Shen Hu's ass. Galahad is clearly top of the line for Generation 8 knightmare frames. Even Lancelot Albion had trouble with it.
The problem is that Galahad's sword is somehow "weaker" than Lancelot's sword and broke.
>But that's still more than the Druggie Trio had.
>Killed a bunch of Orb soldiers
>Participated and won the Battle of Boaz
>Participated in the Battle of Mendel and recovered Flay who had the Nuclear Canceller tech
Yeah, you're not getting past me on these points you disingenuous weasel.
The point is characterization. Those three morons just appear, act insane in their hideous gundams and that's it. We know jack shit about them. They're literally faces.
In contrast, a character might be sitting in a chair for 50 episodes (usually the case with villains) and still get developed.
I think Monica had a larger role in the OZ the Reflection manga. Though, I haven't read it.
That's actually something I quite liked. In MSG a surprising number of zeon pilots got given a name, a face and a little scene of them doing their thing before blowing up.
Son, have you seen Hirai's drawings nowadays? They all look like shit, all of them. The settei for the movie, ALL of the previously created characters look worse.
New druggies just dropped
Hiro Shimono
If he is another Flaga clone I swear to Allah
That would be so blatantly obvious/on-the-nose that it's something Fukuda would definitely do.
Either he's that or a super coordinator made by Durandal
Orphee would have Seki as his VA if he was another Al clone.
My bet is that Durandal kitbashed Athrun and Rau’s DNA—he has Athrun’s face shape and hairline.
I still think a Kira clone, even if one, is not out of the picture. I would not be surprised if the "evil kira" is such. They would not have him in any promo to not spoil the twist obviously
Yuichi Nakamura
Has he beaten Koyasu's record for most Gundam characters voiced by a single VA?
Nakamura's voiced 5 with Ricardo Fellini, Graham Aker, Io Fleming, Nigel Garrett from Unicorn and now Shura Serpentine.
He's almost there to breaking the record, Koyasu's got 8, voicing minor characters in F91, Victory, G and AGE, Zechs, Gym Ghingham, Mu, and La Gu from G-Reco.
New Yzak?
Sumire Uesaka
I like Sumire.
All of these terribly proportioned characters remind me of AGE

I wouldn't say Heroic Age, but they do feel like character designs from Majestic Prince if anything with all the colorful hairstyles.
Can we all agree that so far everything point toward the movie being dogshit and the lid to the coffin of the Cosmic Era ?
OG Freedom and OG Justice are still the superior design.
Will they finally reveal that Mu is a clone & that there is more than one?
>Her name is Aura.
Imagine Fukuda makes a sequel to Cross Ange.
Kira kneeled to this...
Shinn didn't.
Shinn caused an international incident
That's just because of his autism
Good!
However, Shinn let his girl Lunamaria bow to her
We getting close to Flawless Victory?
SEED as a whole is made for fujos, it's literal cancer, remember how long Kira and Lacus were on the Newtype rankings? It's literally material for middle aged single women.
You don't even know what fujo means, what a way to out yourself.
Son you should REALIZE SEED is over 20 years old. You were probably weren't even born back then, so thinking the SEED hardcore fanbase is your age is a bit silly. also reconsider your life if you like this AU
I could say the same to you, reconsider your life if you like CCA.
Speaking of fujos, how much bait between Kira and Athrun should we expect in the film?
Yes.
These two are boring. Both of them are more interesting banging Shinn.
Yeah, and Lacus, Cagalli, Meyrin, and Lunamaria will go lesbian for each other.
