I'll never for the life of me understand why MOA though having only 3 main characters would be a good idea. Only 2 of which any kid could have related too, Only one of which any normal boy would care about. Kevin would have made for a much more interesting secondary protagonist over Gwen.
Sergeant or Lieutenant Steele could’ve made for a cool semi recurring character. They could’ve even brought him back as a Plumber or have him take the General’s role in UA

IDK, the trio is very solid when written well. It's not ridiculous to just have one recurring self-insert for the main demographic when he's constantly the center of attention and has the most elaborate gimmick that leads into several sub-characters. Gwen is something for girls and Max is for an older audience, but in general I think everyone can appreciate all three characters.
This but phil. Having his mind taken over by some feral space spider and make him think he never liked max was fricked. Ben's comment about him being worse than kevin was also moronic as shit.

I left out Upgrade since I didn't want to be too redundant with Jury Rigg, and I needed an electric alien.
Buzzshock can possess technology, has electrokinesis, can absorb electricity, and can duplicate himself. Really, he's just to cover more than one base while still being useful.
Buzzshock is the red hot chilli peppers alien even at his worst he's still at least the 2nd best electric alien, I'm sat here wondering why anyone would pick Jury Rigg when both Brainstorm or Grey matter can do the same job 10 time better and only take a bit longer to do it.

Superintelligence is like super strength. Past a certain point, it becomes unquantifiable at worst and inconsistent at best. I know Grey Matter is smarter, i just picked Jury Rigg because he'd work faster in the field.

There is not much competition for speedster slot. Fasttrack is both uglier and slower.
Fasttrack’s design isn’t ugly imo it’s just bland. XLR8 works because he looks built for speed, he’s sleek, has those balls on his feet, and his visor which all give you the feel that he’s fast even without him using his power. Fasttrack on the other hand besides maybe a nice homage to the Flash, has nothing that gives you an idea of what he does. DJW’s redesign at least gives him some sunglasses and a uniform reminiscent of sportswear so you can get the idea of him being athletic
Jetray or Buzzshock could probably give XLR8 a good run for his money if one or the other ever went back to collage to finish their need for speed degree.

The honest to god only thing that I dislike about this image is the fact that half the creatures aren’t hexapods. Don’t get me wrong, the creature designs are great, but they don’t look “Khoros” to me, just like random alien beasties. Khoros is intrinsically tied with the number four, Tetramands have four eyes, four arms, four fingers on each hand, ect. Even their tech reflects this, with their ships having four main thrusters, having quad-linked guns as armaments, it all links back to the number four.
Imagine if the wildlife on Terradino was entirely small mammals with the exception of Vaxasaurians, Tyrannopedes, and Astrodactyls, absolutely no dinosaurs / dinosaurs aliens whatsoever beyond what’s already been introduced. It’d just feel wrong, right?

Do they also exist in the Celestialsapien who donated its DNA to the Omnitrix? Aside from getting a theme song that's most of the AF roster and beyond.
What brings down Chromastone is "The Secret of Chromastone" which undid one of the heaviest backstories in the original series all to build up to a gag where Vilgax caught Ben's cold.
Ben reviving an entire race is never brought up again, Tetrax never comes back, and the next time Ben (accidentally) turns into Chromastone he get electrocuted because now he needs to concentrate to be a conductor. But hey, he can fly now so I guess it evens out. Chromastone is cool as hell, but he was written in a very underwhelming way.

eh' honestly Tetrax's origin story never stuck for me, like both Canonbolt and Diamondhead's home planets got Alderaaned off screen and that's all we ever get to know about them, I'd unironically take the Diamondhead civil war story line over it one of the good things to come out of the Reboot.

When I first saw him, I thought he was becoming XLR8 but it was this lame ass cat.

I don't even mind Fasttrack's design and don't REALLY mind repeat powers, but they were really lazy when there's plenty of directions he could've gone to play off of speed/the name. I've talked about velocity control in these threads before as one option, but another would be something like vehicular speed boosts if they wanted to lean into that cart aspect.
Though it is funny, like in those Sonic racing games, that they put speedsters in cars

I have a theory that the reason they made Ultimate Wildmutt speak only so he could shout his name. It’s the only reason I can think of to make him talk

Pure fighter. While not as strong as Four Arms, he's a shit ton more agile and can apparently get stronger by getting angrier, so it evens out.

Natural weapons are always useful, especially since they can also be projectiles. Also, create crystals to seal exits, attack from below, or create cover.

He's here for a combination of stealth, flight, and because he's cool. Ice is useful for basically the same stuff Diamondhead is useful for.

Strength, toughness, and agility aren't anything to write home about, but the lasers and enhanced senses are the big draw. I can't remember how the different eye lasers work, but he has multiple different ones.

Azmuth may be a scientific genius like nothing the universe has ever seen before or hence, but I extremely doubt that he dabbled in the arcane even once during his centuries of existence, and when he inevitably encountered it, almost certainly slapped it with the good ole extremely moronic Arthur C. Clark special of “ Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”.
