Because most people aren’t me. Most people as a kid didn’t headcanon hhem as the same age and imagine Charmcaster invading Ben’s room at night only to end up falling asleep next to him

That version of Charmcaster is ugly and a dumb twilight b***h.
Ben was more of a chance getting with the evil richie rich character then her.
Personally, I don't like shipping characters that don't have an at least one-sided interest and some sort of mutual friendship/tolerance of each other, let alone characters that barely have any positive interactions, let alone characters that barely interact at all. Honestly, after "Time Heals" and Omniverse, I cannot possibly imagine any of the good guys having so much as an amicable relationship with her.
Also, Reboot Charmcaster has an immense Gwen hate-boner, so I can't imagine Ben being willing to date her.
I think one the bigger appeals about Ben/Charmcaster is that it makes a nice foil for Gwen and Kevin.

I think the most well know Version of Charmcaster was a little above the age threshold.
I always cared more about her and Kevin becoming buddies and starting their own little duo.
Too bad the reboot was allergic to change for most of its run.

It's quite popular just that Ben has a lot of ships but I'd definitely say it's probably top 5 even higher than ben x kai but ben x albedo has been rising up recently
