I'm gonna address the indian elephant in the room here: she's ugly
both of these.
she didn't have much to do when she looked alright, and by the time she became interesting she was fat.
Gay

For me it was her going over to Jessie’s house and standing on his property pulling the “DONT TOUCH ME IM PREGNANT” card when he told her to leave. She was trespassing, hysterical, and all because she thought he was selling Walt a little bit of weed.
Also the dry tug job as a birthday present.
dude that scene was hilarious, she and marie were at their most entertaining when they were being karen dickheads.
besides the fact that she's a woman, what makes her so hated by absolutely everyone?
For me it was her going over to Jessie’s house and standing on his property pulling the “DONT TOUCH ME IM PREGNANT” card when he told her to leave. She was trespassing, hysterical, and all because she thought he was selling Walt a little bit of weed.
this is the main reason. pretty women can get away with anything but she's ugly and mannish so she can't. people get mad seeing an ugly b***h get out of line.
I somewhat understood her but then she cheated on walt and said something along the lines of "I can't wait for you to die " ,cold blooded reptile b***hhhhh
Treating Marie like shit, holding Ted hostage and making him paralyzed and threatening him again in the hospital, her extortion scheme to steal Bogdan’s car wash all over a petty argument, trying to get Jesse murdered. Skyler deserves to be in prison but Anna Gunn and Redditors will call you an evil sexist for criticizing anything Skyler does.
>walt gets cancer >reveals it to his wife and says he wants to keep it to himself >she immediately tells his former (estranged) business partner to guilt for money
>Was controlling and overbearing in the relationship before cancer >Wanted to dictate Walt's choices after cancer, acted like a distant b***h when he asked to make his own life decisions >Immediately sought divorce when she learned of the drug dealing, meaning a ~20 year relationship meant jack shit to her
Not justifying Walt as the good guy but at no point in the show did she even attempt to empathize with him or talk anything out.
Skylar defenders are either peak brainlets or people who haven't even seen Breaking Bad.
She was an AWFUL wife and person even before she found about the meth, she crippled her son and smoke and drank while pregnant with her daughter, etc. They explicitly state that the reason she doesn't turn in Walt in is because she wants his money and she doesn't want the embarrassment of having a criminal husband. She actively helps him keep his life of crime and violence hidden, screws an innocent man out of his livelihood, helps ANOTHER man commit millions of dollars of fraud, etc etc etc.
She was NEVER more moral than Walt, if anything she was worse, Walt at least had SOME consistent morals, Skylar had none, she just did whatever suited her or made her look better than everyone. The only thing keeping her from being just like Walt was that she was too much of a coward.
Also she committed the gravest sin on television, she wasn't fun to watch. Regardless of her character itself, being uninteresting or annoying is a completely valid reason to hate a character.
Skylar CONSTANTLY took the high road, and b***hed and nagged, and stabbed walt in the back, while actively helping him be a criminal and profiting from it. It was ridiculous.
Im astounded anyone could actually defend her, its peak contrarianism
has anna gunn ever played a non c**t? I just watched a quantum leap episode and there she was c**ty as ever. kinda feel bad for her but I guess it's a living
Their marriage was dead from the start. They only married out of duty when Walt accidentally knocked her up. At the time of the series they were just going through the motions and had sex occasionally.
So we ended up with a wife character who does not love the protagonist and was never really compatible with him in the first place. Prime setup for a hated character. The "good", though less dramatic, solution would have been for them to actually divorce in season 3. Everyone would have been happier.
Also didn't help that she was a horrible moralgay. She freaked out about anything slightly unlawful of out of the norm. In a show about criminal drug cartels that obviously makes her a major buzzkill.
I found her weirdly frustrating, which I could only assume was the point as most of the other characters, even minor ones, were interesting.
I reallt started actively disliking her when she jumped in the pool all traumatised, props to the writers for making someone overly dramatic and boring at the same time.
I guess she’s supposed to be the most reasonable but in a world where crazy lawyers help genius meth cooks evade the DEA and dodge cartel’s worst she really was a downer that came across as pretty shallow until the later seasons.
Other anons ITT have pointed out she’s got deep flaws other than “being boring” so I guess that is exactly what her role is meant to portray.
Too much screentime for such a static character.
She gets interesting by like season 4
both of these.

>dry tug job
this alone was worthy of 5 seasons of hate
I would plap her senseless, you're just a homosexual
she's got that look that says that she's absolutely wild in bed
I'm almost done with my first rewatch and she's got an odd shaped face, but her body is bangin' in some seasons. Especially when she was pregnant.
good morning sir
you're a bundle of sticks. sorry bro.
this is the main reason. pretty women can get away with anything but she's ugly and mannish so she can't. people get mad seeing an ugly b***h get out of line.
homosexual
if you find this chiseled jar dude attractive then yes you are
shes supposed to be ugly, Walts a fugly loser with a moron son
he was an borderline genius that walked away from a company that was bound to make billions of dollars what are you talking about?
and instead he ended up in a beaner tier job as a car washer and drives a beater gay car
she didn't supported le drug dealer and also she cheated on her dying husband for le walt not telling me things
She was annoying but really she was in the right considering what her husband was doing.
I somewhat understood her but then she cheated on walt and said something along the lines of "I can't wait for you to die " ,cold blooded reptile b***hhhhh
The Ted birthday song
Carmela is a way better wife and it's not even close
Also Carmella struggles and doubts herself. She resists the urge to cheat when she knows Tony cheats on her constantly.
If Waler married a hot latina lady the show would've been better
She’s a fun killer simple as. Everyone wants to see Walt make meth and do crime lord things she’s the albatross
that stupid fricking face
Treating Marie like shit, holding Ted hostage and making him paralyzed and threatening him again in the hospital, her extortion scheme to steal Bogdan’s car wash all over a petty argument, trying to get Jesse murdered. Shade her hair red and you have MJ from Spider-Man 2
She kept mowing Walt's lawn.
I empathized with her in season 5. I couldn't to it in season 3 because she fricked Ted
that was her entire plot line through S3 and she had more screentime than jesse
I remember her not being very nice to Walt in the first season.
>walt gets cancer
>reveals it to his wife and says he wants to keep it to himself
>she immediately tells his former (estranged) business partner to guilt for money
Walt should have told Walt Jr about Ted
The apathetic hand job makes her instantly unlikable but women have a tough time grasping it
>AT LEAST SHE TRIED!
women actually think that any type of sexual attention they give makes them worth the investment
>but women have a tough time grasping it
heh
>Was controlling and overbearing in the relationship before cancer
>Wanted to dictate Walt's choices after cancer, acted like a distant b***h when he asked to make his own life decisions
>Immediately sought divorce when she learned of the drug dealing, meaning a ~20 year relationship meant jack shit to her

She's a b***h.
In that case, nothing.
>my bait thread didn't get enough posts yesterday! Better remake it today
get a life
I hated her from the first episode
>it's your birthday
>here's your fake bacon breakfast
bitch
The height of her drama wasn't with Marie or Walt
it was that fricking happy birthday bit
skip skip skip
I'm sure she's a good actor, I just don't see much of that in Breaking Bad
Women cheating on their husband in literally anything makes me view the character in a negative light no matter the context
the way she pronounced "car wash" infuriated me
For me, it was her ehhhhh inhale before every "emotional" sentence
Listen out for it, she does it all the time
that's a dude simple as

and in the end he made it look like she did what she did under duress so she didn't face consequences she didn't deserve that.
