Why are you thinking about Indians so much? Not one of the directors in the post you originally responded to is Indian. It's one israeli guy, a Japanese and the rest are white. What's wrong with you?

Refering to your posting "style". Personally, I don't even think about Indians, it's you weird freaks bringing them up for some reason.

why are you getting buttmad at the indian comparison then, it only seems to be an issue if you look down on them as a people, or do you?

I keep seeing this type of post and it's just cancer. Disregarding my opinion of them (Indians), your post is just completely off the mark. It has nothing to do with anything. It's spam.

Same as Lars von Trier, he excels in making degenerate misery porn. Stylistically he's interesting of course but I don't think I could recommend any of his movies to a non-mentally ill person without getting into trouble for it.

With Lars it's pretty brutal though, looked at an image of his the other day and it literally made me gag. Guy's ugly inside out. Hope he'll get better.

Much as Ridley Scott's been producing forgettable blockbuster these last decades, he's also the undeniable king of Sci-Fi kino.

Was thinking about suggesting Sorrentino and Fukunaga. Problem with both is that their output is too samey. They kind of are one-trick-ponies. With Sorrentino it's less severe because of the beauty of the things his images capture but looking at Fukunaga's stuff it's hard to differentiate the movies from each other, visually. Doesn't help it's all mundane stuff.

i have a friend who is very into korean media and in jest i would say "anon say ho." there is nothing malicious about it, it's just poking fun at someone's particularly korean taste. he doesnt get buttmad

similarly when anon posted his indian-core list, the "sirs" was a friendly nod at his particularly indian taste. no malice or cancer, one only takes offense if he loathes the indian folk, ergo he considers the indian association as derogatory. it has absolutely everything to do with it because it exposes your mean spirit. you are in fact the one being weird about it
