It tried something a bit different but the end result was moronic and two of the worst portrayals of these characters in a long time. Had they let Snyder film his original Justice League trilogy plans it would have poisoned those franchises for all time with how terrible they are. I do not understand how Man of Steel's corniness was somewhat contained and then Batman v Superman felt like Snyder filming his neckbeard fanfiction.

its weird. as someone who generally loathes capeshit, the only ones that seemed decent to me were the ones most capeshit fans hate and call shit (antman, batman v superman, wonder woman, nolan batmans, batman and robin) and all the ones people praise the most are the ones i found to be the most shit (ironman, avengers, guardians of the galaxy, nu-spidermans, etc)
