what are you ordering?
jambalaya (not a soup btw. did they mean gumbo?)
then I'll try the turkey chili next
One phone order, please.
for me it's the Fresh Daily
Screw that place. I'm not standing in line for soup. I know how to make my own damn soup.
Large Crab bisque, with lots of oyster crackers.
>32oz
>3.99
God damn they had it good in the 90s
that's pretty expensive in the 90s, maybe not for crab bisque but certainly for black bean. probably about $8 nowadays
the minimum wage in New York when this episode aired was 4.25 an hour and 80 percent of new york workers at that time made above minimum wage
so someone in the lowest quintile of new york workers, would only have to work for 56 minutes and 33 seconds before they could afford a quarter of a GALLON of crab bisque made by provably the BEST soup maker in the city
>4.25
Isn't that how much a Big Mac is now?
That was like the half of whole month’s salary back then
Black Bean for sure
large tomato rice
French onion for something tried and true
Clam bisque for something new
turkey chili, gotta see how he makes it.
>All made fresh daily
That's impossible, it would take much too long time to make so many soups every day
meh, soups are easy to make, especially in huge batches in a commercial kitchen
1 man making 11 soups? No way
how do you think soups are made? lots of these probably use a similar broth
it's not just one man cooking
jambalaya's not a soup but that one
One split pea.
The Opera
One Large Clam Bisque
Mulligatawny please sir!
The menu is really solid. Bit pricey for back in the 90's (would be $8 for a large soup, but 32 oz is a lot and it is supposed to be really good).
Personally I'd go with a large split pea because there's something inherently funny about walking around New York City eating 32 oz of split pea soup. Like imagine getting on a subway and chowing down on split pea soup.
But I think as a non-joke answer, crab bisque, turkey chili, jambalaya, and french onion are top tier choices.
Pedophila themed subtitle font. No i don't think I'm gonna reply to your thread about. Why should i.
Split pea if its european style.
Go outside for once in your life.
The secret code, Kramer analyzing George was genius
I'm doing a full rewatch, just finished The Sponge.
I always slept on Cigar Store Indian. That really had me in stitches. The Hot Tub is a big winner too, just a barrage of jokes and the guy playing Jean-Paul is hilarious.
I'm honestly not sure. Seinfeld is so consistently great its hard to just pull out a "best" episode.
Cigar Store Indian has always been one of my favorites.
Some that stick out:
>The Soup Nazi
>The Jacket
>The Comeback
>The Bubble Boy
>The Rye
the muffin tops too
o yea
Reddit episodes
>"My father's gay!"
The Outing, albeit with many close second episodes
Chicken Noodle. You have chicken. You have noodles. Just mix them together.
for me, it's the merv griffin show
Kino choice
bump
the episode that stats with Kramer trying to figure out how to spend less time in the shower, pure fricking gold that subplot.
that part when hes taking notes in the yankees locker room kek
>don't worry buddy, i'm watching you too, but this guy here is really showing me something
kek
btw that episode has one of the GOAT Seinfeld moments, when Kramer calls Puddy about installing the garbage disposal in the shower, and Puddy is shown just sitting on the couch staring at nothing before the phone rings
Tbe Kramer sublot where he decides to live in his shower full-time is my favorite side plot in Seinfeld. It's also such an appealing idea to me.
kys, autistic homosexual
Uncalled for.
What's with all the negativity today, anon? Is there something going on that we should talk about?
You're The Jerk Store's best-seller.
I think my favorite subplot is eating candybars and other snacks with a knife and fork.
Mr. Pitt was a fun, short lived secondary character.
>how do you eat yours? With your hands?
This is one of the most perfectly delivered lines in history and I laugh even thinking about it.
this is not a real episode
is
what it's name
The Apology, though he's just in a public shower taking notes. Not the Yankee locker room.
Then one where Kramer gets to meet Mel Torme because they think Kramer's moronic, and the B plot is Jerry getting molested by his dentist
Christ, Kramer walking in those shoes and dopey smiling is great!
>Newman and kramer’s Bottle deposit scheme on Mother’s Day
>Keith Hernandez and the magic loogie
>Kramer starts gambling on flight arrivals at the airport
>Jerry gets illegal cable
>Kramer hosts Japanese businessmen and lets them sleep in his dresser
The bizarro jerry, the comeback, the andrea doria, the van buren boys, the foundation, the subway
MY BABY TAKES THE MORNING TRAIN
>lets face it Jerry, I've always been handicapped
He was in the right.
>On a doily on a magazine
It basically wasn't even garbage
adjacent to trash is trash
It's unlikely the garbage bin actually rendered it unsafe, but the fact that someone put it in the trash mean it's too risky, who knows what's wrong with it.
This. If he had accidentally put it in the trash himself it would've been fine to take it out and eat it right away
>Trash is next to trash is next to trash is next to trash
It's trash all the way down
It was in an enclosed bin, everything is contaminated.
This. The moment that lid closes, it's over.
the only thing he did wrong was bite it from the side someone already bit it on, thats germs
hello, Puddy
Something like this happened to me and its still the most embarassing autistic thing I have ever done in my life. I still cringe to this day
The Fix-Up
Parking lot or car dealership
the one where kramer tried stand up comedy obviously
the one where george does the opposite of his instincts at all times
The opposite a classic
I’m paraphrasing here
>nothing has ever worked out for me with tuna on rye!
the subplot where george's gf thinks he's genuinely insane is probably the funniest stuff on the show for me
have you guys all been getting recommended the animatics where they're all drawn as animals in the style of Don Bluth
No
I'm already subscribed
he does columbo too!
Are there actually soup-to-go places? Seems like one of the worst foods to pick up on the go.
I think the idea is when you pick it up it's way too hot to eat but by the time you get home it'll be just about right.
Afro-jewism

Am I crazy or is that a lot of gum?
The Pen
The Subway

I'll have to go with the soda can one
Anyone posting episodes from he last 3 seasons needs to be ejected from Cinemaphile.
IT’S MOOPS.
>The Good Samaritan
>The Beard
>The Dealership
>The Cafe
And basically the rest of season 3
I enjoyed the episode where a bunch of disgusting people who infected my culture with neurotic garbage were sent to jail, preventing further episodes
i'd have to do the chilli and seabass but i don't see it up there
ONE LARGE JAMBALAYA PLEASE
do any of you homosexual morons like split pea? who would order that
I thought I hated split pea for most of my life until I had it homemade.
in my minds eye i think i might like it a little more if it was thinner than i've had before. maybe i'll try and make some
It's pretty good sometimes. I don't make a point of ordering it very often, but it's a nice simple soup.
this idiot can't keep it together for a single interview lol.
i get why he'd be mad but what a fumble. least it shows the show is authentic
>That’s what you had to tell me? Your father wears sneakers in the pool?
Just finished season 2. Does this shit ever get good or should I just quit watching if I don't like it at this point?
Seinfeld is on how show in it's success trajectory. Season 3 was when the great eps started. Season 4 was when it goes consistently great.
Seasons 5 to the end are where most of the funniest shit comes from.
Seasons 1 and 2 are pretty bad in comparison to the rest of the show for the most part. The show starts to get much better in seasons 3 and 4, then is pretty consistently great throughout.
The Gum
i love anytime George listens to Kramers terrible advice
any episode with Kramer and Newman is pretty much kino as well
i like the one where they are shipping gallons of cum, and newman and kramer have it almost full but they are bone dry so they eat a bunch of zinc and jack each other off
love any ep with George or Elaine's bosses
The episode where George just explodes for no reason
what was he going to say?
The Gymnast
Which one, Cinemaphile? For me, it's the deaf chick.
The Romanian girl. I love that hairstyle.
The Slicer. The plot is so perfect
>George goes into his bosses office
>sees a family photo of Krueger, his family, and George in the background
>steal the photo so he can get airbrushed out
>photo guy airbrushes out Krueger
>George has him fix it but the guy literally draws Krueger in like a cartoon character. Guy says George needs a photo of the guy
>George arranges skin cancer screening at the company with a girl that Jerry is dating
>Jerry gets the girl mad with accusations that she gave him a rash
>Kramer happens to be at the company to get his meat slicer blade fixed and is wearing a white butcher coat
>Krueger thinks Kramer is the doctor
>Kramer does the skin cancer test and gets George his pic of Krueger with his shirt off
>Krueger is photoshopped back into the photo and Georges puts the photo back in his office
>George says "Mr. Krueger, you should really get that mole that Dr. Van Nostren was worried about checked out"
>Krueger: "George, look a this photo. It's over 10 years old and that mole is the same as it is now"
Fricking perfect
