I thought it was fine as well. Significant step down from the show and not as good as the first movie.
It was fine, but I like the first movie more. I think the first movie lived up to the spirit of the show more.
It was worse than any of the episodes, but still decent with a few laughs. I liked Carl's speech about how America need more toxic masculinity. The animation bothered the shit out of me though, they shouldn't have changed it. Everything's too fluid. Still looking forward to the 4 new episodes they got signed for. I hope they go back to the old animation though.
Yeah it's just ok. Honestly the more I watch it, the less I appreciate it. I thought the new villains were ok and the dialogue is alright, but the improved animation just lacks the soul of classic Aqua Teen. The more generic plot structure doesn't do it any favors either. The Mooninites couldn't break their curse of being the worst part of an Aqua Teen movie too.
The first movie isn't perfect either, but it definitely captures the spirit more of the show, and the jokes are higher quality overall. Shake singing his dumbass song is better than every Plantasm scene honestly.
They fricked up the levels on Marcula's voice and it just doesn't sound as good.
