The Raimi movies weren't accurate to Peter's characterization.
All 3 of the Raimi movies worked with the theme about Peter struggling with managing his normal life with Spidey life. It's why he's broke. It's why he struggles in maintaining relationships both romantically and professionally. They may not have been completely accurate, but they certainly were way more true to character than the Garfield-led movies or Marvel's trilogy of Iron Man jr.
Garfield's acting alone is the best characterization of Spider-Man in film.

I really liked that arc, you can tell Peter is acting naively and only realizes it when Captain Stacy tells him that Spider-Man is a selfish vigilante and not an actual hero, it makes TASM feel like a legitimate origin story since he's much more adjusted in his role by TASM2.
Peter is supposed to be a dork, not a overly charming guy that dresses like a hipster.
That being said I kind of liked the his 2nd movie despite its shortcomings

I think Gfield has the right charisma for Peter Park but the movies are pretty bad. Even though whatever the MCU movie he was in was called was kind of bad his part in it was great and very sincere
