Eugene Oregon. been in Oregon all my life and hope to leave in about 2 years, its a beautiful state and the WIllamette Valley really does feel like its own world but I wanna try a different shade of America for awhile
There was literally one niggger in my entire high school. Granted, this was years ago. There is no major transit lines in Lake O, rich cats live there and cops will kick out homeless people because literally have nothing better to do
The Oregon coast is amazing, beautiful scenery all the way down.

how, why are US coasts in generally so underpopulated?

It’s a long stretch of coast in a not very densely populated part of the country and the water is cold up there
On the other hand the east coast is one giant continuous suburb from Boston to Miami

The Eastern seaboard also grew more due to its proximity to Europe for centuries

It's also pretty rocky and uneven and there's no really good places for a port or harbor. Until you get to the Columbia River there's also no decent transport lanes for goods.

Because the “beaches” are too rocky and water is too unpredictable for a decent sized port to develop anywhere. Also the towns are very isolated and the only viable industry for many of them is timber.

Also you dont have many large tracts of land to develop easily like the valleys in California that butt up against the coast there. The towns are nestled up against hills and mountains and hence never have the space to grow.

How can the ocean be on the right side when it's supposed to be THE WEST COAST???
Vancouver, WA up in this b***h. I was arrogant enough to move here (had a good job offer) in thinking there would be a magical force field or something that would cauterize Portland's cancer petri dish of a town from what we have going on here. Then, once I'm in Vancouver I realize literally the only thing truly separating us state-wise are two bridges, both being walkable if need be. So, Fentanyl zombies are pouring in over here all the time and it's just the norm. Thanks Portland. Seriously.
Southern WA and nothern are two different beasts entirely. You have a point, but in the south it's a whole lot more conservative than you think. Seattle willingly dug its own grave.
>Vancouver, WA
Nice, me too anon. I used to live by Clark College, that area turned to trash fast after fentanyl came to town and the homeless encampments started growing to epic proportions.
The soulless make themselves easy to spot and they can't understand how or other see it so easily.
s
i never said i hate nature morons, work on your reading comprehension. you "nature loving frickwits" come out of the woodwork and reveal yourselves easy. i'm a fricking skier ffs
and everyone talks this state and its beauty up but nobody mentions how god-awful the traffic and drivers are, seriously, driving to said nature is a pain in the ass
it would be nice to live in a town on the cascades like north bend, but good look finding a place there for under 700k. rich yuppies priced everyone out of everywhere but the booniest of boonies
frick you all, can't wait till i move to FL
>but good look finding a place there for under 700k. rich yuppies priced everyone out of everywhere but the booniest of boonies >frick you all, can't wait till i move to FL
lol, you're a fricking moron. The same problem has been happening to FL for 20 years more then it has been in WA. Its WAY worse there in that regard.
Enjoy buying your $1m+ 1400sq/f house in the keys. Its not the 80s anymore.
Nah dude. I'm not the guy you're responding to but I grew up in North Bend. My family sold our house that we got for 300k to some Pajeet tech bros for 850k (LMAO) then bought a house the same size with a 40 foot pool and a hot tub down in Florida for 500k and pocketed the extra 350k. Washington is way worse than Florida
sounds like LA area tbh. i love nature but it takes forever to get to. hell it takes forever to get to anywhere in the city. i spent a month in new york and lost weight because i walked everywhere. no nature but fricking easier way to live, i really miss it
Bro just walk to Phinney Ridge / Greenpoint. No homeless, just white families and churches. Amazing how it's like a 30 minute walk down to Aurora and yet has none of Aurora's problems
The Greater Seattle area has always been a dump and I've lived here for 20 years. Unfortunately, that dump got set on fire thanks to all the refugees from California shitting up the state. They've completely ruined this state just like they ruined their home state.
Tacoma/Lakewood. I pay for unprotected sex at the Asian massage parlors here weekly and have yet to catch any bugs. I just had a good time last Saturday at one in Lakewood and didn't even frick, just sucked on her cup D tiddies while she jerked me off. She was like 20 Years my senior
i got a handjob at a strip club last week and my frenelum is itching. my inner foreskin gets irritated every year during summer when it's super hot but i'm wondering if i caught something? i thought hand jobs were pretty much bullet proof?
I want to get the frick out of this area so bad. The weather sucks, the people suck, and it's fricking filthy. This is the worst region of America, bar none.
some of the higher altitude spots are cool cause it feels like whole parts of towns are cradled on clifftops
See this is beautiful but I don't think it looks too different from parts of New England.
washington is cursed
I don't think white people should live there
there is some sort of ancient curse on the land, maybe from before the most recent natives
there is a spirtual and physical malaise that hugs the state like a wet blanket, sapping energy and all happiness from people no matter how amazing their lives are or how well things are going
everybody turns to drugs or alcohol just to get by, for no good reason
it should be a beautiful and prosperous place but its just constant misery for everyone
yes the nature is beautiful, enchanting even, magical, and then you go back to your concrete or plastic pod and get back to work, and the misery creeps back in
the whole vibe is off, Seattle itself is built on a hellmouth, the number of people who go missing all over the state and never get reported is enormous (enormous)
there is something deeply wrong with WA and no media can ever capture the unease those who try to live there feel
>the number of people who go missing all over the state and never get reported is enormous (enormous)
Doesn't New England, like upstate NY for example, have the same problem?
Where are you. I’m. native Oregonian. And I want out. Portlandia ruined my state. All Cali gays moved here. Portland not even 20% native. Shithole Cali town now
preach my brotha
Portland is dirtier than San Fran
You were clearly dropped on your head as a child so I'm not gonna ride you too hard here, but Oregon has both Goonies and Kindergarten Cop (Astoria) and I'm in Washington and could care less about the state below us, but you have to give credit where credits due. C'mon now.
also true kino One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Haven't seen but Leave No Trace was filmed here too, heard good things.
lrn to google OP:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_shot_in_Oregon
mfw when Dead Man was filmed in OR too.
The Road is the most Portland, Portland shot film.
But honestly I watched Rambo recently and that has comfi views of Washington and prime Stallone
we definitely could use more rain, idk how you could think its the worst region in america unless you're in Portland, besides homeless and high cost of living Oregon is a sort of utopia, wonderful nature and very little crime
Cinemaphile tells me that wearing level IV armor is reasonable for weekly visits to portland but Cinemaphile tells me it's fine and has little crime
who to believe
In my experience, bums get more hostile the further north you go for some reason. SF bums are generally kind and friendly, Portland bums are indifferent but not dangerous, Seattle bums are fricking psychos. I live near lower Queen Anne and got chased 3 blocks by a knife wielding bum screaming that he wanted to kill me because I made eye contact with him from across the street once. Had to jump a fence to escape. Frick that shit
Lmao no one wants to move to Mountain California. Shitty laws, drunk Mexicans on the roads, dudeweed morons, and the 2023 Broncos. Frick off with that bull shiat
Try living in Baltimore you hipster homosexual. It's a sick siamese twin with DC and blacker than a frostbitten foot. If your yard is full of malt liquor cans, empty Newport packs, and random weave and braids, that's a good day because it isn't needles, glass, and literal dead bodies. Jesus frick I hate it here.
I'm in oregon but originally from the midwest. Can confirm the PNW is nowhere near as bad as bumfrick nowhere. Your just seeing triggering things more often.
I don't know about kino but living at the edge of the national forest in Olympia was the most comfy place I lived. While we lived there in the late 90s my Dad took us to the Snoqualmie Lodge to see where parts of Twin Peaks were filmed, and all the diners in the tiny town had TP references on their signs and menus like having damn good coffee and serving cherry pie. Comfy teen hooker death town.
SA. Looking at a map, it was the edge of the Capitol State Forest not the National Forest which is in some other part of the state. Whatever. Cool as a kid, but I'd bet it would be depressing as an adult, there was jack shit out there, closest thing was a gas station near Black Lake
You were clearly dropped on your head as a child so I'm not gonna ride you too hard here, but Oregon has both Goonies and Kindergarten Cop (Astoria) and I'm in Washington and could care less about the state below us, but you have to give credit where credits due. C'mon now.
All I know is that Alabama is a white haven outside of its shithole cities. The only other part of the USA that rivals it is new england…everywhere else is a shithole undeserving of time or attention
>Alabama is a white haven outside of its shithole cities.
True to an extent. North of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham is very white, Baldwin county on mobile Bay is pretty white, and a few counties in the southeast of the state in the corner with Georgia and Florida are quite white. There is a huge swath of the state however, running right through the center where there are much too many Blacks.
Some thing yankees do not understand is that in the south Blacks are not an 'urban' phenomenon. There are a lot of them there, sadly, but they are also laced throughout parts of the countryside (on account of their ancestral employment), especially on the coastal plain and most especially in the Mississippi flood plain.
lol I spent last summer traveling America (32 states we saw) out of my van with my gf and dog but neither of us have an instagram with our travel photos on it cause I only take pictures for myself and my woman barely shares images. I was gonna post my devils tower pic but then I saw this so
I grew up in the northern Seattle suburbs but haven't been back there in years. I'm talking Everett/Mill Creek/Snohomish/Monroe. Is it still chill up there or is it going to shit like the rest of the state?

>no idea US housed such kino areas
bruh its an enormous country with much more nature than cities, no shit its full of dream like pockets, are you one of those Europeans that think USA is size of france?
Thats just the Columbia river basin, South centeral/east WA. the northern half of eastern WA is nicer, still dry but more mountainous, usually coniferous forests

That's crazy. I'm the guy who's from the southern tip in Vancouver and I've only been here a year and a half. I can't say I truly feel what you're talking about but you clearly know more than I do about the region, I find that interesting. I definitely think it's beautiful but I will say something is a tad off for me and I can't pinpoint why. However like I said, I'm still pretty new so any new region is gonna seem bizarre when you grew up elsewhere.
my experiences were the same. now that ive been here a long time, i still dont feel right here. the people seem sick in a way i still cant understand. this was before everything got political too. its worse now.

It takes a very specific kind of person to live in Western Washington. 9 months of overcast and drizzle every year is no joke. Two years ago we had a stretch over 100 consecutive days without direct sunlight in Seattle. Transplants seriously underestimate the effect this can have on your psyche if you weren't born and raised in it.
i've held ideas like this but don't share them with others. every time i return here from a trip i fall into a small depression. there is this unknown hostility that kind of lingers in the air, i rarely truly feel "safe" here. of course i just nut up and ignore the feeling because i'm an adult but i've never been to another state that felt like this, save for the one time i stopped in arkansas
Born and raised here. Been depressed and suicidal all my life. Moved to Florida for a year and it was the best year of my life. Had to come back to Washington for family reasons, and it kicked back in again instantly.
Is the dream of the 90’s still alive in Portland?
The dream of the 90's is absolutely alive in Portland, alongside methheads and dysgenic communists. It's a fun city if you like to LARP the Walking Dead when you're walking around, though if you have a t-shirt of some random punk band on the homeless will dab you up.
Bros do I go to WSU online or UW Hybrid for my MBA? Fricking hate Seattle
If you hate Seattle then go to WSU. You will become an alcoholic, you will frick drunken college bawds, you will do nothing else because there's nothing else to do in Pullman and you WILL be happy
Seattle bros, we were robbed of VtM kino
What do you mean? I don't know anything about this game. Were they going to set it in Seattle?
It would be online so I’d be in my gay little apartment in mill creek. UW has more prestige, name brand and whatever bullshit but that would mean having to go to Seattle for a week every few months to spend time with classmates I’ll hate
God no, it died some time in the mid 00s.
By the time people started to learn that Portland was a place not necessarily in the state of Maine, it was already on it's downward trajectory
t. lived in Portland for a decade, moved back to my small town in the region.
xfiles went downhill the moment they moved production from PNW to California.
I don't think they realised how comfy the dark boreal forests were for viewers.
Live north of Vancouver in woodsy area.
Work in Portland doing service work(mostly, sometimes WA).
Honestly, Portland is so big and it's mostly okay. Just driving a box truck in some parts of Portland fricking SUCKS ASS.
On random breaks during work I'll just pull over and walk around, most places are all right. Not even slightly as bad as this website made me think Portland was.
Fricking love Washington though. And Oregon is great to camp and explore.
I was going to move from western WA to the Idaho panhandle but I realized that the entirety of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming will never have one millionth of the natural beauty of WA.
WAbros, times are tough now but don't take WA for granted and move to some awful state like Florida or Texas
ignorant statement. fight what ever fight you want, but dont be dishonest about it. i cant attest to wyoming, but montana and idaho have some absolutely beautiful landscapes, mountainis, etc.
>the entirety of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming will never have one millionth of the natural beauty of WA
I think that's exaggerating a bit. There is a lot of beauty in those states.
I've dreamed for years about taking a year off work and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, or at least the sections in Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
I don't think I'll ever work up the courage or money to do it, but it's fun to daydream about
I work for a machining subcontractor in Kirkland. I've been tempted a few times to work for Boeing directly but a. There is no job security for Machinists there and b. I'd have to move to fricking Everett
>Florida
Yeah it’s flat swamp full of rednecks, spics, elderly israelites, and black criminals. I cant understand the appeal unless you’re someone who NEEDS to live by a warm-water beach (ie a middle aged divorced woman)
>Phoenix
I wouldn’t want to live in a desert where everthing is brown and dead and it’s 105+ degrees for a third of the year, but I will say Scottsdale has the hottest girls on average of any place I’ve ever stayed.
>he doesn't like fishing >he doesn't like BOATS
admittedly there isn't much else if you don't like the water but tampa has a great metal scene, and everything down from port richey is to clearwater pretty much a beach town.
people meme about hispanics blacks and old people but you forget there are also hordes of white women who make women in washington look like dogs
also cubanos
>parents place in Bothell went from 300k when they bought it in the 90s to 1.4mil now
I keep warning them if I catch them both goin down the stairs at the same time I’ll be a home owner real quick
>mfw Californian >mfw me and all my childhood friends one by one all moved up to Portland >mfw Portland is an utter shithole with homeless, crime, drug use, riots, and over 100 degree weather every summer
Sorry bros, but I've since moved back to California. Seriously, riding the max to work for my shitty midnight shift wagey job was a real low point of my life. Hobos visibly shooting up across the aisle, basketball Americans blasting their shitty music, burnt out storefronts, etc
Marin has some lowkey chuds but you gotta be discreet about it
I'm posting from Humboldt right now. Whatchu mean about Heroine? Maybe in shitty Eureka, but no one cares about Eureka. If you had made a dude weed joke that would have made more sense. Come move to Endor bro (:
I'm posting from Humboldt right now. Whatchu mean about Heroine? Maybe in shitty Eureka, but no one cares about Eureka. If you had made a dude weed joke that would have made more sense. Come move to Endor bro (:
People who shit on California are usually chuds that have throughly conditioned by far right media entities to regurgitate their far right talking points like brainless soulless NPCs and never left their shitty opioid infested small town lol
i shit on california because of mass exoduses that have ruined entire housing markets and cities. you people are parasites who broke containment and should be ridiculed and flogged in the streets
All the nice, rich enclaves in CA are insanely nice. The problem is the expense and the times you have to leave the enclave (though if you're really rich enough both of these are non issues)
nah let em' come. They all move here during the summer and then become suicidally depressed when they realize the other 9 months of the year are nothing but clouds and rain and 5pm sunsets. My favorite genre of post on r/seattle is the constant stream of "How the frick do you people live like this?!" posts during the winter.
If you want to live in the chuddiest place on earth go to rural Idaho. It is pretty but nowhere near as pretty as WA. Also if you aren't already rich there are no jobs and you'll be poor.
Florida, Texas, and Arizona are godforsaken shitholes with nothing redeeming about them.
My boss flys in from Eagle to SoCal every Monday and flies back Fridays….let me tell you , Idaho lives to its reputation alright , beautiful topography but insane chuds
I wonder how many millions of pajeets they’ll import within the decade now that whites are either moving out or dying out? Ontario is importing 5 million (unofficially 10 million) within 10 years and most of them will be pajeets and our collective economy is about the same as Washington and Oregon combined.
I’m not attacking Cascadia bro’s, Ontario is ironically a shithole with the average income at $38,000 CAD.
You guys have federally legal weed. You guys are heading in a good direction despite insane housing market
Weed is dumbo slop so the plebs forget about getting fricked in the ass everyday. I’ve never done weed in my life and I feel superior to people that smoke weed even once.
The last of us season 2.
Twin Peaks for Washington. Oregon got shit except Grimm
You were clearly dropped on your head as a child so I'm not gonna ride you too hard here, but Oregon has both Goonies and Kindergarten Cop (Astoria) and I'm in Washington and could care less about the state below us, but you have to give credit where credits due. C'mon now.
I was talking about TV shows you twit. And got forgot Short Circuit and Bandits
Anyone in any of those two states lurking?
Covington, Washington here
Bonney Lake.
Twilight
>Bonney Lake
I hear good things about that town.
Eugene Oregon. been in Oregon all my life and hope to leave in about 2 years, its a beautiful state and the WIllamette Valley really does feel like its own world but I wanna try a different shade of America for awhile
I'm in Tigard (Portland metro area). It's honestly fine here but downtown Portland is fricking full of cracked-out hobos.
Wait until you guys get MAX running through your city
I've lived in Tigard, Tualatin and Beaverton and all were fine areas. Just had shitty roommates in all of them.
Lake Oswego all my life. Or as we call it Lake NoBlack
Are you sure? If I go there and I see one I'm gonna fricking flip out
So you'll become one of them if you see one?
There was literally one niggger in my entire high school. Granted, this was years ago. There is no major transit lines in Lake O, rich cats live there and cops will kick out homeless people because literally have nothing better to do
Just drove down the coast of Oregon and it is a beaitiful drive with tons of paradise small towns. Rockaway, Garibaldi, TIllamook, Astoria.
always thought I'd wanna live there if I was in the greater portland area
The Oregon coast is amazing, beautiful scenery all the way down.

Washington ran bigger liberal degenerates than Oregon. Think Seattle during Floyd route and CHAZ
Southern WA and nothern are two different beasts entirely. You have a point, but in the south it's a whole lot more conservative than you think. Seattle willingly dug its own grave.
It only sucks that Portland is so close to the southern border that Vancouver is just as liberal as Seattle
It's not even that, basically everything directly out of Seattle's reach is incredibly conservative.
>Vancouver, WA
I'm so sorry
>Vancouver, WA
Nice, me too anon. I used to live by Clark College, that area turned to trash fast after fentanyl came to town and the homeless encampments started growing to epic proportions.
I'm downtown. It's ugly but if I want to remind myself how much worse it can look I can always cross the bridge. I like to hang out on the waterfront.

Yes, and?
I'm old
it's 100 degrees and very smokey in oregon today

But enough about your college dorm.
Roseburg born and raised, very isolated and a totally different environment from the rest of the PNW.
I am trapped on one of the islands in the sound.
help.
(by trapped i mean, i have to take a ferry)
I'd gladly move to an island in the Pacific Northwest if I had the money.
Seattle here. It's fricking hot today
at least it's not a month of this
also glad it's this week instead of the next when I move over to Redmond
portland here
I heard antifa types mostly bailed out as diversity came in. Any truth to that?
Soros paychecks stopped coming so they moved back in with their parents
they mostly live in portland now since drugs are decriminalized
seattle here, cap hill area, have lived all around WA and OR, love it here

also this state is full of gay muh nature frickwits
Why are you in one of the most beautiful states if you don’t like nature? Maybe go to some soulless city hellhole, urbanite.
Imagine waking up to this view every day and still somehow hating nature
when you see it pretty much every day for the majority of your life it isn't that special bud.
The soulless make themselves easy to spot and they can't understand how or other see it so easily.
Geologically, topographically, and visually privileged
Anyone have that image of the person who hates nature and cries when thinking about it existing for
s
i never said i hate nature morons, work on your reading comprehension. you "nature loving frickwits" come out of the woodwork and reveal yourselves easy. i'm a fricking skier ffs

it would be nice to live in a town on the cascades like north bend, but good look finding a place there for under 700k. rich yuppies priced everyone out of everywhere but the booniest of boonies
frick you all, can't wait till i move to FL
>but good look finding a place there for under 700k. rich yuppies priced everyone out of everywhere but the booniest of boonies

lol, you're a fricking moron.
Washington is way worse than Florida
already closed on a place, near family, in a 96% percent white area (and i'm not even white). its on the water, too. have fun getting stuck on I-5 🙂
>"have fun getting stuck on I-5 :)"
>Implying I'd ever live on the eastern side of WA or OR
Uhhhhh
touche
i should specify in my shit-talking i'm talking west of the cascades. eastern WA is practically a different state
sounds like LA area tbh. i love nature but it takes forever to get to. hell it takes forever to get to anywhere in the city. i spent a month in new york and lost weight because i walked everywhere. no nature but fricking easier way to live, i really miss it
This one?

Bro just walk to Phinney Ridge / Greenpoint. No homeless, just white families and churches. Amazing how it's like a 30 minute walk down to Aurora and yet has none of Aurora's problems
Bham, if you're reading this you're a Black person Jeremiah
Renton
The Greater Seattle area has always been a dump and I've lived here for 20 years. Unfortunately, that dump got set on fire thanks to all the refugees from California shitting up the state. They've completely ruined this state just like they ruined their home state.
Tacoma/Lakewood. I pay for unprotected sex at the Asian massage parlors here weekly and have yet to catch any bugs. I just had a good time last Saturday at one in Lakewood and didn't even frick, just sucked on her cup D tiddies while she jerked me off. She was like 20 Years my senior
damn what street are the good ones on?
Pacific Ave. Place is pic related and next to a baptist church. You won't find me there anymore anyway
nice bro
top kek the google reviews of roasties angry at not getting a good massage
actually interested in hearing more. gib street if you cant give name of place
i got a handjob at a strip club last week and my frenelum is itching. my inner foreskin gets irritated every year during summer when it's super hot but i'm wondering if i caught something? i thought hand jobs were pretty much bullet proof?

Came here to post this, great Portland movie
the whole underground chef boxing ring or secret entrance bars is exactly what Portland wishes it was like
You just don't know where to look friend.
what part of town would these cool sites be found? I used to hang around 23rd st, when I walked around Pearl it mostly seemed drab
>shot entirely in South Africa
Yeah, no.
I want to get the frick out of this area so bad. The weather sucks, the people suck, and it's fricking filthy. This is the worst region of America, bar none.
Seems to me like the comfiest region in the US
It is. Just then people suck. They’re all Cali gays. God I hate Californians
Don't forget all the foreign jeets that come here for tech jobs
Yup. Silicone Forrest. Why stay out of Hillsboro
Dead Man
that's literally any city with a university, anon.
Way worse in Seattle
>t. went to UW Seattle before jeets arrived en masse
>comfiest region in the US
I thought that would be New England.
See this is beautiful but I don't think it looks too different from parts of New England.
>the number of people who go missing all over the state and never get reported is enormous (enormous)
Doesn't New England, like upstate NY for example, have the same problem?
Where are you. I’m. native Oregonian. And I want out. Portlandia ruined my state. All Cali gays moved here. Portland not even 20% native. Shithole Cali town now
Tacoma WA
I used to live and Tacoma. I live in Dallas now and it's 100% worse.
you can always go north
>Portlandia ruined my state
on that subject my fave skit
Kek are you me? I hate New Jersey and spike is my favorite Portlandia character.
preach my brotha
Portland is dirtier than San Fran
also true kino One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Cinemaphile tells me that wearing level IV armor is reasonable for weekly visits to portland but Cinemaphile tells me it's fine and has little crime
who to believe
it's like every other big city. Some parts are gentrified echo chamber safe spaces, and others are martin luther king jr blvd
I live in SF, those bums are not fricking friendly.
LA here and the bums are psycho too. i think it’s the meth
It'll never be as bad as louisiana here
New Orleans area? This place fricking sucks, only reason I stay is cause I grew up here
Colorado is full. Frick off.
Lmao no one wants to move to Mountain California. Shitty laws, drunk Mexicans on the roads, dudeweed morons, and the 2023 Broncos. Frick off with that bull shiat
>mountain California
Is California not already mountainy though?
Try living in Baltimore you hipster homosexual. It's a sick siamese twin with DC and blacker than a frostbitten foot. If your yard is full of malt liquor cans, empty Newport packs, and random weave and braids, that's a good day because it isn't needles, glass, and literal dead bodies. Jesus frick I hate it here.
I've got a felony equivalent in my own white country so I will never be able to move to literal heaven where you live
have you tried following the law?
how do criminal nogmuds manage it then?
try going south a little more and you will run right back
>and it's fricking filthy
seriously why is there so much litter on the side of the roads? a lot of other states i've been to aren't like this
I'm in oregon but originally from the midwest. Can confirm the PNW is nowhere near as bad as bumfrick nowhere. Your just seeing triggering things more often.
Yeah Oregon is alot more habitable than shithole red states
majority of oregon is a red state
Good think Oregon is not a red state dictatorship by east Oregon
Just rewatched Chronicle. As someone who is not on the spectrum, this film is top-tier Asperger's kino.
Leave no trace
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Killing season one only
I don't know about kino but living at the edge of the national forest in Olympia was the most comfy place I lived.
Frasier does but it is nothing like Seattle in real life
>I want to die.
why?
Some good watches:
Kindergarten Cop
5 easy pieces, I used to eat at the same Denny's where the restaurant scene was filmed, also animal house at UofO

What did he mean by this?
Green Room
Rambo
I always thought Washington was on the west side
What the frick are you on about anon? Washington is on the West side, that's the Pacific Ocean it's right beside.
first one that comes to mind for me is The Goonies
Underrated movie. Modern day Sherlock Homes before it became trendy. Takes place in pre shothole Portlandia Portland
10 Things I Hate About You
Alabama is the greatest state in the USA and its not even remotely close.
>t, a person who has never left Alabama
I have been everywhere in the US except alaska, hawaii (not states), and north dakota
Im probably more locally traveled than anyone in this entire thread
You lying sack of shit. I want an instagram link with pics of all your adventures around this great country or you can frick right off.
I was gonna post my devils tower pic but then I saw this so
>I have been everywhere in the US except hawaii
Good, frick off we're full.
I grew up in the northern Seattle suburbs but haven't been back there in years. I'm talking Everett/Mill Creek/Snohomish/Monroe. Is it still chill up there or is it going to shit like the rest of the state?
Harry and the Henderson
So much good leg flexibility for what ends up being a wimpy girlyarm throw.
The last PNW was great, I had no idea the US housed such kino areas
Is that right off I-5 between Canby and Wilsonville? Looks very similar to a spot I drove by on my way to work.

Did you not read top left that said exactly where it was?
>no idea US housed such kino areas
bruh its an enormous country with much more nature than cities, no shit its full of dream like pockets, are you one of those Europeans that think USA is size of france?
oh baby i hear the blues a callin tossed salad and scrambled eggs
Why is there nothing at Oregon coast?
How does it look?
some of the higher altitude spots are cool cause it feels like whole parts of towns are cradled on clifftops
dunno
For me, it’s LiS
What town is Arcadia Bay based on?
probably Astoria or I suppose Arcadia
> Eastern Washington looks like this
what the frick
now look up the Colorado sand dunes.
Thats just the Columbia river basin, South centeral/east WA. the northern half of eastern WA is nicer, still dry but more mountainous, usually coniferous forests
When is someone gonna make something set here?
If they want hot climate, they just stick to where production is cheaper instead of some random part of the country.
What would they make it about? Meth and child molesters?
Doesn't WA have almost every single biome in it?
Its more or less the most diverse state in that regard.
There is even a rain forest (yes, the only one in north america).
No, that’s California, which has every single biome except tropical.
Got a rain forest?
yes, but its cold
Dune
Based. I dirt bike the Florence Dunes and think of giant sand worm coming out abs eating my ass

Probably, although there are much better places to live on the peninsula.

Op asked for best movies, not dogshit movies
washington is cursed
Can confirm
The tv shows about this area are real
I think you're on to something
From Vancouver BC north of the border and havent heard a better description of this place as well. Misery.
It's the curse of the tartarians that built Seattle before it got mud flooded
That's crazy. I'm the guy who's from the southern tip in Vancouver and I've only been here a year and a half. I can't say I truly feel what you're talking about but you clearly know more than I do about the region, I find that interesting. I definitely think it's beautiful but I will say something is a tad off for me and I can't pinpoint why. However like I said, I'm still pretty new so any new region is gonna seem bizarre when you grew up elsewhere.
my experiences were the same. now that ive been here a long time, i still dont feel right here. the people seem sick in a way i still cant understand. this was before everything got political too. its worse now.
maybe i aught to get more sun
A lot of people who immigrated to WA in the early days were Scandinavian, Scottish and German, all of which have a similar sort of vibe as WA.
The dream of the 90's is absolutely alive in Portland, alongside methheads and dysgenic communists. It's a fun city if you like to LARP the Walking Dead when you're walking around, though if you have a t-shirt of some random punk band on the homeless will dab you up.
If you hate Seattle then go to WSU. You will become an alcoholic, you will frick drunken college bawds, you will do nothing else because there's nothing else to do in Pullman and you WILL be happy
What do you mean? I don't know anything about this game. Were they going to set it in Seattle?
It would be online so I’d be in my gay little apartment in mill creek. UW has more prestige, name brand and whatever bullshit but that would mean having to go to Seattle for a week every few months to spend time with classmates I’ll hate
frick salem
Five Easy Pieces
All of the WA parts were shot in BC, Canada.
Is the dream of the 90’s still alive in Portland?
it came true, gen X punk nihilism is now the norm and you're looking at it
God no, it died some time in the mid 00s.
By the time people started to learn that Portland was a place not necessarily in the state of Maine, it was already on it's downward trajectory
t. lived in Portland for a decade, moved back to my small town in the region.

Doing God's work anon
pretty much, OR/WA may seem like a lost cause but you can't fix problems by running away from them
Always the most beautiful places that get corrupted the worst huh?
ignorant statement. fight what ever fight you want, but dont be dishonest about it. i cant attest to wyoming, but montana and idaho have some absolutely beautiful landscapes, mountainis, etc.
yeah montana and idaho are beautiful but can't hold a candle to western WA
>the entirety of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming will never have one millionth of the natural beauty of WA
I think that's exaggerating a bit. There is a lot of beauty in those states.
they are beautiful states but cannot compare to the puget sound region, mt. rainier, and the olympic peninsula
Seattle bros, we were robbed of VtM kino
I've dreamed for years about taking a year off work and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, or at least the sections in Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
I don't think I'll ever work up the courage or money to do it, but it's fun to daydream about
Meet me at the Walmart on 164th in Lynnwood at noon tomorrow if you want to get your fricking ass beat

I work for a machining subcontractor in Kirkland. I've been tempted a few times to work for Boeing directly but a. There is no job security for Machinists there and b. I'd have to move to fricking Everett
Washington sucks but Florida and Phoenix are so much worse its unreal.
LMAOing at the morons ITT
why? are you some sissy who can't handle the heat or are you some sort of troony
>Florida
Yeah it’s flat swamp full of rednecks, spics, elderly israelites, and black criminals. I cant understand the appeal unless you’re someone who NEEDS to live by a warm-water beach (ie a middle aged divorced woman)
>Phoenix
I wouldn’t want to live in a desert where everthing is brown and dead and it’s 105+ degrees for a third of the year, but I will say Scottsdale has the hottest girls on average of any place I’ve ever stayed.
>he doesn't like fishing
>he doesn't like BOATS
admittedly there isn't much else if you don't like the water but tampa has a great metal scene, and everything down from port richey is to clearwater pretty much a beach town.
people meme about hispanics blacks and old people but you forget there are also hordes of white women who make women in washington look like dogs
also cubanos
Arizona is gorgeous. sorry you can't into the desert
How’s the water supply down in Arizona?arizona has the most prime bawds
Not as bad as people think, Vegas will be fricked long before Phoenix is

>mfw Californian
>mfw me and all my childhood friends one by one all moved up to Portland
>mfw Portland is an utter shithole with homeless, crime, drug use, riots, and over 100 degree weather every summer
Sorry bros, but I've since moved back to California. Seriously, riding the max to work for my shitty midnight shift wagey job was a real low point of my life. Hobos visibly shooting up across the aisle, basketball Americans blasting their shitty music, burnt out storefronts, etc
People love to shit on California but in reality places like South OC, Marin, and San Diego are still extremely nice if you can afford to live there.
any place that is also affordable?
The only two counties that are cheap are Humboldt (Heroine) and Lake (Hot and no paved roads)
Their is a lot of chuds in NorCal too like Redding so be careful not to live in those areas
I live in SF, give me the chuddiest place on earth
Marin has some lowkey chuds but you gotta be discreet about it
How is Arcata? Same as Eureka?
Rural Idaho
I'm posting from Humboldt right now. Whatchu mean about Heroine? Maybe in shitty Eureka, but no one cares about Eureka. If you had made a dude weed joke that would have made more sense. Come move to Endor bro (:
where in Humboldt is a good place?
People who shit on California are usually chuds that have throughly conditioned by far right media entities to regurgitate their far right talking points like brainless soulless NPCs and never left their shitty opioid infested small town lol
No they’re mostly right about CA, I’m just saying there’s a few places left here that aren’t like that.
i shit on california because of mass exoduses that have ruined entire housing markets and cities. you people are parasites who broke containment and should be ridiculed and flogged in the streets
I hope you step on a used needle and get AIDS
or just from california
t. native californian who hates what it has become
All the nice, rich enclaves in CA are insanely nice. The problem is the expense and the times you have to leave the enclave (though if you're really rich enough both of these are non issues)
>Forks, Washington
Twilight.
did any of you homosexuals mention this?
guys what the frick keep it on the DL
frick off we're full
This, you're supposed to say it rains all the time and it's always grey. Do you homosexuals want even more Californians moving up here?
I’m moving from the OC California with reunited with my leftist chads in Tacoma Washington. Can’t wait
CALIFORNIAAAAAAA
HERE WE COMMMEEEEEEE
I think that’s the theme to the OC I’ve never seen a single episode and I’m drunk feel free to correct me
>moving to Tcomp
lol, have fun.
tacoma is nice. One shitty neighborhood and downtown surrounded by rich people neighborhoods
west coasters don't know how good they have it
nah let em' come.
Rural Idaho definitely the chuddiest. It’s a safe haven for retired cops and nazi larper miltias
>it’s another anon scares himself and cries about things that aren’t real episode
My boss flys in from Eagle to SoCal every Monday and flies back Fridays….let me tell you , Idaho lives to its reputation alright , beautiful topography but insane chuds
Jesus, what does your boss do?
yeah you've been rambling about them for the past hour
The Boonies (2016)
I wonder how many millions of pajeets they’ll import within the decade now that whites are either moving out or dying out? Ontario is importing 5 million (unofficially 10 million) within 10 years and most of them will be pajeets and our collective economy is about the same as Washington and Oregon combined.
at least we still produce some things in the US. All canada has for GDP growth is housing
I’m not attacking Cascadia bro’s, Ontario is ironically a shithole with the average income at $38,000 CAD.
Weed is dumbo slop so the plebs forget about getting fricked in the ass everyday. I’ve never done weed in my life and I feel superior to people that smoke weed even once.
As many as they can.
You guys have federally legal weed. You guys are heading in a good direction despite insane housing market
there's already microsoft and intel in the area so probably will need to stock up on more pajeets
Both companies produce inferior products now. Telling.

Don't go to Oregon.
Don't think about Oregon.

I don't give a shit about WA though. Those homosexuals can burn.
I’m from California and I’m moving to Oregon soon, cry gay
I'm sure you'll find enough subhuman mexicans up here to make friends. Plenty of you creatures make your way up here yearly.
I’m also moving to Eugene from the OC to California up the state
