Generally well liked in highschool, got good grades, played sports. Parents had high hopes for me but was all a thinly veiled facade to hide my mentally issues. Completely fell apart in college, lied about dropping out for a few years until a admitted to being a failure. Brothers are wildly more successful than I’ll ever be. Falling deeper into alcohol and drug use, transition between wage cucking bottom of the barrel jobs and quitting/flaming out within 6 months and being a neet. I’m 26 years old with absolutely nothing to show for my life, posting in a druk thread on a Friday night so it’s not hard to imagine what a fricking loser I am.

I'm a recovering alchy who managed get through college, start a career, and stumble through a bit of life but not really be *thriving* ...the realization started to set in during my late 20s. I just turned 30 and I am in my second year of law school, slowly pulling that plane up and by my early 30s I will be where most of peers were in their late 20s (professional degrees)
